For all this talk on drive's quality I feel it could still have a blade like turn but then alot of the potential for that was squandered by stalling plots such as the focus on chase on the plot and character especially kiriko.

The other big problem is that it has too many toy gimmicks like fourze even though drive has less than fourze did and that the show is playing things too safe like Wizard did.

I guess in that case the problem is that it takes too much from prior series especially the problems of the series it seems to be taking the most from.

I would probably put drive on the lower end of rider series because it does have some brilliant moments bu there is not enough which saves it from being the worst rider series in my opinion.

You know, I will say this in Drive's favor: I still want to watch it. There's no temptation to jump ship like I usually do with Super Sentais that bore me.

Drive might be the one series that I haven't enjoyed that much.

I am saying this having only watched Gaim (good but seemed like an obvious break from formula purely by looking at its own crossover episodes) and a very small portion of the original series (good but as far as I've got so far, fairly formulaic) but I'm mostly enjoying it. Sure, the secondary rider is damn annoying (although he has become less so since his initial appearence) and the rest of the protagonists and main antagonists are more interesting than the main character but it's still fun to watch and there's definitely a plot there, even if it's disappointing sometimes.

Yeah... it's tragic and sad knowing Gou is going to die... :(

I thought Kamen Rider Drive wasn't that boring (I admitted that ToQger wasn't boring)

I felt Riku Sanjo shouldn't work with Takahito Omori who is the head producer of Kyoryuger and Kamen Rider Drive.

If I was Riku Sanjo, I will not work with Takahito Omori because Producer only care for money, not story!

Because yeah, Riku Sanjo is clearly a selfless author only caring about bringing people entertainment without even asking for money... :rolleyes

If that's Kamen Rider Chase, I can't say I expected him to be so... silver.

That was cool and if that kamen rider chase. I expected him to have more black and purple on him.

Count me in as one of the folk who wasn't expecting Chaser to be so..no purple, his head looks pretty much the same but his base suit is so odd, is it silver? or a light blue?

His design reminds me more of aqua because it lacks so much body armour compared to Drive and Mach.

I have to agree since I drop Drive at episode 7 and I'm hate doing that. I've been watching Rider shows as they air in Japan since Fourze. While Wizard was bad, at least the show had a good start until Phoenix was killed off. Drive did nothing to me. I find the main character dull and boring. I haven't felt the same about a main rider since Ryuki.

I plan to go back to watching Kamen Rider until the 2015/2016 show starts. I have a feeling that show should be good since I feel like a pattern has started since Fourze. Fourze and Gaim where good while Wizard and Drive sucked.

I'm not going back to drive until they move forward with Chase's story again. Which would probably after he fully becomes Kamen Rider Chaser.

They already moved forward with that storyline in the last two episodes when he had his final confrontation with Shinnosuke :)

So I was browsing 2ch when I came across this. The upcoming televi magazine supposedly not only has Chaser, but a preview of Type Tridoron. Looks pretty neat.

Alright, if KR Chaser looks as bad as this does I can skip every Drive related merchandise without remorse. Kinda sad, but true.

That makes sense because if you look closey the tire appears to be going through his abdomen.

Has it not occurred to you that, provided it is fake, the reason it matches the silhouette is because that's what they based it off of?

I just think it looks way too much like Type Speed. Not to mention the picture clearly looks drawn and the proportions are all wonky... That's just how I see it, though.

You're probably right. If it was the real Type Tridoron, the Tire would be different. That just looks like Type Speed's tire tilted.

And the torso is all sorts of stretched. That is not a normal human body. It's just in general very janky.
