I seriously can't imagine Hiiro or Taiga dying until the late 30's at the earliest.
Or at least Brave and Snipe won't die. As long as Bandai still gets their crap shilled, one way or another, the show could probably blow up the Earth and get away with it. Of course, I said all this stuff about Lazer too, but... You know what, f*** it. Emu is probably going to die 2 episodes after getting Muteki Gamer and the new Ex-Aid for the rest of the show will turn out to be Hiiro's dad or some s***. I should know better than to try and predict this show at this point. Also, Ex-Aid, please DON'T bring Graphite back for an episode or two to bring real closure to his relationship to Hiiro and Taiga. It totally WOULDN'T be an appropriate way to further their development. After all, you gave the actor his flowers, which means he can NEVER come back, not just that he's no longer a regular. |

Kiriya kicked the bucket five episodes after getting his own big toys, Chambara and the Sparrow. And episode 24 happens to be 5 episodes after Brave gets Fantasy! And it just so happens that their final upgrades' levels all were multiples of 5... It all adds up. (also my god, in the almost two years ive been here this is the first time someone has actually addressed me as fartface. at last, i have found happiness) But on a more serious note, the combination of facts surrounding them (1. they've got death flags 2. they have gotten their last toys as far as we know, and they're at least 49 levels below what comes after them 3. this show sure isnt afraid to kill people) does give me some worries. I'm starting to believe Parad is gonna end up being the true secondary Rider. |

but I fucking love the Dual Gashat Gear Beta Don't take them away from me I know Paradox is likely the secondary as he's the only one to get a new weapon at all but I really really really really really really like Simulation Gamer and have gotten attached to the cast also glad to make a frendo happy |
I mean trust me, I love Simulations too, and I don't want any of these jerks to go. I'm just saying, if they do kick the bucket, at least I'll be prepared...this time.

There is live stage video where Hiiro wearing Palad clothes, long black jacket, pretty much what Palad use in the show.
to me this is hinting something like : - Palad die , Hiiro use his dual gashat, becoming paradx lv 99 - Hiiro die , Palad using Hiiro's game driver becoming 2nd Rider that care and protect Emu, just like Hiiro did and to me this is also hinting, Snipe will go first lol, leaving Emu and Hiiro and lastly, Emu and Pallad for the last quarter of this show |
Guys, The blu-ray for ep 13-24 comes with Snipe Episode Zero. This may or may not be a deadflag for him.

Oh shit yeah. Graphite's back, bitches! Just as I had wished. Though...looks like he's somewhere with Parad, the Chambara Bugster, Motorz and Gatton...? Hm. Weird. No idea what's going on there.
Girigiri Bugster (Gaiden? I can't read his name well) looks weird. And a Shakariki Bugster, at last! Looks freaky. So, yeah. That just leaves DoReMiFa. Rip poppers. It says they finally finish Genm, but...I wonder. I doubt he actually dies. Someone has to finish KRC. Whoooo knoooows. (gonna laugh so hard if graphite ends up being chronos or something) Brave finally gets to use Full Dragon, at least. And Emu and Poppi go talk to Masamune. Also interesting. Some weird stuff going on in Chou Super Hero Tasen. Maximum Gamer grows giant to fight alongside KyurenOh and Brave gets a new Legend Game form. Looks like a lot is going down next month. Looking forward to it! Oh, and I forgot to comment on it even though it's the main thing here. Maximum Gamer doesn't look too weird actually. A bit stiff in some respects but it kinda looks like it works. I kinda like it. |
It's still ridiculous, but it looks like it'll be the fun kind. I actually really like the proportions, but that might just be my inner Space Marine talking. Those are some impressive pauldrons.
|
I love the new form Maximum Gamer looks amazing.
Anyways about Hiiro and Taiga I think they'll be fine to closer to the end. Still them being lower levels is nothing because Mach didn't get an upgrade form till the very end and that wasn't even shown in any toy catalog. I can't wait to see what happens though and hope those two don't die. |

Unlike a system like that which allows for growth, the Riders in Ex-Aid have concrete, unchanging power levels. Level 50 is never going to be anything but Level 50. When things elevate to the 90's, they will be just as outclassed as they were at levels 3-5 going up against level 5-50 opponents, except in this case we don't know that something is coming to level the playing field. And that'll be how it is for practically half of the entire show, if they were to stick around as they are now. Of course there definitely are other things they could do, like mixing up gear to get unique in-show stuff, sort of like Chaser Mach. For instance, Chronos and Poppy are level-less, which may imply their strength is beyond that level system. Perhaps something as simple as having Brave and Snipe use the Buggle Driver may give them the power boost needed for them to catch up. But the thing is, we can't just assume that something like that will happen. |

Well yes the systems work different in Drive and Ex-Aid. Though Ex-Aid proved using the Power-Ups a Level 3 could kick the shit out of a Level 30 Bugster. Though the Secondary Riders who get an ultimate form normally just stay in that for a while. I mean Mach had Deadheat and that was it till they came up with Chaser Mach. Baron only had Lemon Energy Arms and Mango and it was only because he was popular that he got the Lemon Energy Arms. Very Rarely do the other Riders get a form that's as powerful as the Final Form of the Main Rider. Though they don't get known Level Ups yet doesn't mean they won't. Besides in Video Games just because your level 70 means you can't beat a Level 99 Monster it just means it'll take more work to do so than being at the Same level as the monster. |
the latest scans are so awesome~!
I see Genm getting his butt kicked everywhere xD the Levels in Ex-Aid does not matter much if the riders actually use the energy items...there are so many variety of them too lol. as demonstrated by Ex-Aid being level 3 managed to beat up level 30 with Muscle Up. Looks like Snipe would be hogging the Gashat Dual Beta while Brave has to settle for Full Dragon xD |
Oh geez, looks like Graphite is back for more "cultivation"
But doesn't that make the whole "receiving flower" deal pointless? |
*Sees Graphite is coming back in scans*
Thank you, Ex-Aid~ :) |
Wait. Are we SURE Graphite is back? KR has a habit of reusing monster suits in magazine scans, so it could be that they used his suit

Screw the flowers anyway. His "death" had "we're not actually done with this character!" written all over it, so I'm insanely happy to see this happen, especially literally a day after I joked about how it "won't" happen. :p |

But I was seriously dead positive Graphite's death wasn't going to stick the second it happened. The flowers convinced me otherwise, but I'm SO glad my one major gripe with Ex-Aid's writing so far turned out to be what I initially thought it was instead. Also, while I'm throwing out ideas the show may or may not run with, I'd just like to remind everyone that Kiriya's death involved him fading into data or whatever rather than actually dying. That's totally enough wiggle room to bring him back for the finale or something. But that would NEVER happen. ;) |
Saionji's actor in Ghost got his flowers, but they still brought him back for flashbacks. Not the same situation as Graphite, but at least it's not completely unprecedented.

Also, did those flashbacks explain what the hell Saionji was or how he knew about shit and the fake driver? |

It's almost like Ghost's plot was coherent or something... |
Maximum Gamer looks really cool. I love how Gurren Lagann-y it is.
I really, really, really hope the suit actor can handle those legs since they look stiff in all the shots, like the suit actor is just standing on them and they have to use tricky camera work and CGI to make it look like he can walk. It'd be sad to see this huge juggernaut thing get handicapped like that. I want to see the real suit run in and punch Genm with a fist the size of his head. Also cool to see that Galaxian is a new suit! Movie budget I guess. Brave'll probably use that to beat up True Brave. And yeah, the Giri Giri Bugster is bizarre looking. Is the Shakariki Bugster reusing the chest of the villain from Specter Re:Birth? Quote:

Gotta agree with everybody, Maximum Gamer looks great, but a little stiff. Also, I was hoping his powers would be something more interesting than super strength and defense, but it looks like that might be it. It could still be cool, just depends on how they work it into the fight choreography (if they can do anything as good as the first Mighty Brothers fight, I'm sold). Also, I had a feeling the giant powerup would debut alongside a Sentai mecha, but I didn't even think of Maximum Gamer being the one to use it, that's pretty much perfect.
Galaxian Quest Gamer looks really nice, wonder if we'll see Snipe use a second legend game at some point, since we know Ex-Aid is also gonna use Taiko Drum Master. It also seems to confirm that the Genmu specials will indeed relate to CHST, between that and the Xevious ufos. And as I said in the other thread, I'm all about the GoRiders. |
Well hooooleee crap. Looks like GoRider isn't just gonna be for the movie, but will have a short 3-part series on...something called Video Pass? Not so sure.
It will also feature a variety of Riders that don't seem to appear in the movie--Another Agito, Blade, Baron, Marika, as well as Lazer and Ex-Aid. And all with returning actors! http://cdn2.natalie.mu/media/eiga/17..._201602_02.jpg http://cdn2.natalie.mu/media/eiga/17..._201602_03.jpg A full article here. Exciting stuff. Looking like the Go-Riders may not be Ex-Aid's team after all. |
Dang, Ex-Aid is sure getting a ton of spin-offs! Which is good of course. She probably won't do a whole lot, but I'm exicted to see Marika's actress back, and alongside Baron's, too.
On the topic of the GoRider's identities, might be worth noting that the 5 riders with returning actors also match up with the GoRider's color schemes. Maybe they'll be Ex-Aid's team in the movie, but those guys in the special? |
Quote:
Also: trailer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Smh9qwD4s8 I don't know why seeing all these guys together makes me so happy but it does. I think it's easier for me to get hyped about this because it's like the first time all the returning actors for a thing are from shows I've actually seen. Either way, looks fun. |
Quote:
Well the main plot of the movie is this tournament between heroes , maybe the team that wins it gets a power up and becomes Kamen Sentai Gorider. |
Huh, looks kinda neat.
I'm loving this whole Go-Rider idea for being so out and out retro looking, and it's always cool to see returning characters. I love the Gaim cast, despite my mixed feelings on the characters (oh Kaito...), Lazer is Lazer, Kenzaki automatically makes anything better (100% true fact), and Another Agito... was a neat character in that show? Definitely not the first guy I'd want or expect to see again, but hey, why not? |
Apprently the reason all these guys were chosen was the common theme that should be dead at this point. Maybe that relates to why they are the Goriders.

Also, why are we all assuming the Go-Riders are people we know? Is it just the color thing or have they hinted at that somewhere? From what I can tell Toei seems to be playing them up as these mysterious new guys. I wouldn't be surprised if they're JUST dudes in suits, with no real identities beyond that. EDIT: Oh, looking at that article linked a little up the page, it actually does note Kenzaki just disappeared in the same paragraph it mentions that all those other guys died (spoilers!), so I guess this wasn't an oversight. Although it could just be a flimsy excuse to bring Blade back nonetheless. |

The REAL reason becomes obvious once you look at their names... Kino Kaoru Kenzaki Kazuma Kumon Kaito Kujo Kiriya That's right. They're all Kamen Riders with two capital K's. Minato Yoko is the exception, because she's clearly a mole planted by Shocker/Foundation X/Mogura Juujin. All the pieces are there. Wake up sheeple. |
