Now we have a better look at the colors of the Spider Vistamp.
Using Microsoft Paint, a random sample of the Color is RGB(36, 35, 75). Hibiki's Suit, through a similar random sample as well, is RGB (39, 27, 86). The Red on the Spider Vistamp is RGB(128, 17, 23) and the Red on Hibiki's Suit is RGB(128, 11, 5). So both colors are pretty similar.
So Spider=Hibiki. Pretty much confirmed.

To be fair we're only on what? 3? (You really think I'm counting Vice?)

Meanwhile Saber showed us the full 6 on Episode 6, and Zero-One gave us 5. So Revice is being pretty chill in terms of throwing stuff at us in regards to Riders.

3 riders by Episode 7 is still a lot even if the two last seasons raised the bar, not to mention this proves the rumour right of like 6 before Christmas. I was just excited to have a series with the focus on one rider and maybe one antagonist rider in the background man, I can't even bring myself to care about this new guy with how "just another one" he is

At the very least, we had some episodes to build up the character before he became a Rider.

I see, well I won't be counting Vice as a separate Rider until he gets like, separate stuff. As far as I'm concerned he's a packaged deal in Revice given all of the stuff he gets just compliments Ikki and vice-versa.

So once he gets his like own Driver and forms separate from Ikki, then I'll acknowledge him.

Edit: Wait, they haven't revealed his toy. So, wouldnt' Evil still be the november toy? Live is debuting that month, most likely which is when they'd reveal the functions of the toy.

I really want we have a cobra-themed Rider in Revice. Maybe a cobra-themed Rider is the new Deadman general.

It's an interesting name alright. Makes me wonder what the belt's function is in terms of controlling or using your Deadman.

Wait, weren't we only getting like maybe 5 riders (all 3 Igarashi siblings, and the producers were considering Hiromi and George) max? Damn, they sure made that consideration quite quick.

Anyhow, might as well talk about him now, I dig a lot of Demon's design aspects:

• The fact that he's asymmetrical makes him immediately stand out compared to almost all the other Spider themed riders/kaijin I've seen/remember.
• The blue eyes going across his helmet front to back make it more interesting to look at from other angels.
• The red muscles of his under suit with two-tone blue armor seemingly bolted on top looks fantastic.

Can't wait to see him in motion next episode.

yeah with how long toy listings have been out, I figured we'd have 2 riders at most by the end of the year

kadota's neat and all but I honestly cannot get excited for demons at all. he reeks of exactly what you said - even though we've known kadota since the first episode

it feels weird to me that we've had revice for the first 5 episodes, then by episode 7 we have revice, evil, and demons

If the Bat and Rider are our 2nd and 3rd Rider, it would make sense for the 4th to be the Cobra.

If it helps, there's still that interview with one of the writers that someone posted a while back about how one of Revice's themes will also be the idea "Isolation", so there's still a chance maybe we'll get more of scenes with just Ikki and Vice throughout the show with the other riders fighting amongst themselves as the b-plot.

I think what makes Demons feel so tacked-on compared to Evil is that he kind of suffers from "Durandal syndrome" (sorry Ryoga). Where, despite his character being introduced beforehand, the whole thing with him actually turning into a rider just kinda happens out of the blue. Like, we just got the reveal of Daiji as Evil, and before this new facet of him/his inner demon can even be explored suddenly we're supposed to get hyped for his senior coworker being KR Demons? (Admittedly, I now sort of see what the writers are trying to go for here, but still.)

the difference is that this year the first quarter toy listings only ever had the revice driver and a new, second driver. with daiji's actor confirming at the show's press conference that he'd transform eventually, it was kinda easy to see where the show was going. not only have we been blindsided by the fact it's "daiji-but-not-really", but they managed to keep another rider under wraps

my point is that 3 riders in the first quarter gives off a very different vibe for the show as opposed to just 2

Meanwhile I'm just weirdly giddy for this supposed side character whose only character trait so far is being all about justice and protecting the peace. :lol
Like, yeah, neat to see Daiji transform we knew that, but damn my excitement is rising when I see Kadota with that belt.

Though, his appearance next week reminds me of Jin who showed up around episode 6. And that worries me. They're both riders with a collectible that already showed up before (Flying Falcon in Reiwa:TFG and Spider Vistamp in Revice 3.5), and both have no unique weapon. Granted, Demons doesn't share a belt with anyone, but damn does it kinda worry if Hiromi is the christmas death.

honestly wouldn't be surprised if demons' driver is some sort of test run for high-level mooks or enemies. that's the vibe it gives me, personally - mostly because there isn't really an apparent gimmick to it at the moment

even though he might have more in common with jin I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out more like hase from gaim

I find it funny that the belt we thought was gonna go to Daiji Is actually going to Kadota. Like SURPRISE

He doesn't have a legact rider ViStamp for the same reason Rex doesn't, because it's his base form, so the Rider head on the Bat stamp is Evil's, just like Rex has Revi's.

I'm kind of indifferent to new riders being introduced at rapid pace since there such a difference in how the shows handle said multi-rider aspect so Revice could end up be really bad or good at it especially with a new writer at the helm.

I do however think that it's super interesting that Revice's 1st quarter is way smaller Zero-One's and Saber's but it might end up having the similar amount of riders that those two shows had in their 1st quarters. If Hiromi's belt is released as P-Bandai item that would make it 3rd Unique transformation item that isn't a remold of a existing toy after Sabela's and Ryoga's swords.

So who's excited for Christmas this year? :lolol

I like season with lot of riders but even me feels that's too much.
I mean no, not too much, but too fast. We're just introduced to Evil that Demons shows up, I don't have time to feel something about him that I must focus on someone else.
I really love the designs though.

Also dropping them fast like this, I feel like their "names" are a bit "wasted". KR Evil. KR Demons. they feel like generic names but they're big "concepts" as well. and dropping them fast like this feels a bit like if we had footsoldiers named KR God or something.

I like to think Kinoshita fast tracked Hiromi to become Demons so he doesn't have to deal with writing him in later. We're in that period where toys are introduced left and right, so just introducing the riders as we go along probably helps him later down the line.

ok I didn't think Daji straight up being Evil made sense but him either being possesed or a Devilman/Demon taking advantage of his insecurities which seems to be the route they're going with, does. Further more so George plans on betraying FENIX for what this is getting interesting which was funny because I was ready to write this off as yet another comedic based Toku (Which saying it doesn't have comedic moments is wrong but there are plenty of serious moments)

If we do get our cobra themed rider, what will it be called. Kamen Rider...Satan maybe, going with the whole evil naming thing going.

I gotta admit, something I do love about evil and demons is that they give off the impression of super classic 90s-2000s comic book heroes/villains. hell, even vice gives off that impression to me and kind-of-sort-of-almost revi

I think it mostly has to do with the fact vice and evil's eyes are painted on rather than the typical compound eyes that we're used to. demons' eyes are kind of weird since they're clearly compound eyes, but they're so embedded into his head that they could almost pass for being painted. compound eyes are a signature of the franchise and seeing them divert from that just screams comic books to me

speaking of which, since it's pretty obvious by now that evil is daiji's demon in some capacity, I'm guessing the trend is that if you're a devil and a rider, you're going to have painted on eyes rather than the classic compound eyes

I wonder how live plays into all of this though - surely it has to be daiji himself, right? which means live will probably have the compound eyes that we're used to. at the same time - assuming live debuts in november, I find it kind of hard to imagine that within the next 4 episodes daiji will be able to take control. if that ends up being the case, I'm guessing that by the second quarter, daiji will figure his shit out and come to an agreement with his devil

So I'm a little behind with Revice, but I saw Demons design and thought he looked absolutely fantastic! He looks like an evil Spiderman, heck, maybe that was his inspiration.

I have yet to see last week's episode, but everyone's all but certain Daiji is Evil's partner, which makes sense since my candidate is apparently Demons.

I'll be sure to catch up, but Revice is certainly throwing in every Rider at us this early now, huh? Hopefully they can pull it off well (though Saber wasn't too bad in that regard).
