Kiva has to be next since he is the last Heisei Rider. After Kiva and J, we will have all of the main riders.

If they do Kiva then I wonder what they will do with his forms? We got Kiva Emperor Form a few years back, so either they will reissue that form or do a renewal. I can see Garulu, Basshaa, Dogga and DoGaBaKi being web exclusives though.

My guess is either going to be Kiva or Kuuga Renweal.

ToQ1 just to be hopeful, as this is the time where we ought to be getting Sentai Figuarts announcements.

If they do another ranger, I hope it is from something better than ToQ. I am still going to say they need to finish the teams they have started first, so the next figures need to be either finishing Jetman or DaiRanger.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm just wondering; how often do you guys use your Figuarts? I got a Kamen Rider Gaoh Figuart which I do enjoy, but I'm actually looking to sell now since I don't use him at all out of fear of wrist-ball-joint-breakage. Do you just pose your Figuart & leave it alone? Do you keep it in-box & take it out to pose, then immediately put it back? Do you play with it constantly & switch accessories so many times it's like breathing? Just stuff I'd like to know before investing in more Figuarts. Thanks in advanced!

I mess around with the figure for a couple days, put it an a shelf in a pose I like, and then take it down again when I get tired of the pose and want to re-pose it. And so on.

I take it out mess/play around around with it for a bit after that I put it in a pose I like/want and leave them as is on the shelf.

Though I have a few I have yet to actually put back that are buried under a pile of hands and weapons.

I just pose my Figuart and leave it alone. Sometimes I will change my poses, but that will be it. Figuarts are not meant to be play with since swapping out hands and always needing to change the pose in action can be a pain sometimes.

It looks like they are doing more Showa Sentai figuarts now. ToQ1 seems unlikely given how unpopular ToQger is at the moment with older fans. I guess they will announced the rest of the team for Sun Vulcan since there's only three members soon I hope.

Same here. I usually mess around with the figure to get a feel for the articulation, pose it, stick it on the shelf and leave it there until I feel like changing the post.

Hopefully Sun Vulcan will get completed. I mean come on, it's a three person team. Two pack Blue and Yellow and BAM! Hopefully this little burst of Showa senshis will land me some J.A.K.Q. and Liveman SHFs.

Rarely a day goes by where I dont take some of my figuarts of the shelf and pose them around. I´m usually not the guy that gets a figuart poses it until he finds a good pose and leaves it like that for a long time. If I like the pose they are in and dotn feel like changing it I usually just put them back into that pose after I´m done fiidling around with them figure.

It's hard to say. SOme figures I mess around with a lot, bu it was easier to do that when I only had a handful. Now that I have a ton, it is not so much anymore. In fact, I am debating if I want to get rid of a few figures to lessen the count, but I don't think I'd be able to sell them.

For example, I want to get rid of my extra W forms like Cyclone Trigger, Luna Joker, Cyclone Metal, and Luna Metal, BUT I want to give the effect parts like the little insect bots and the stretched Luna arm, so I'm not sure if anyone would even buy them without those parts.

And then there are times when I accidentally come across a good pose that I don't want to touch it. Nevertheless, I do try to change up my poses if I can do so (my Wizard shelf is cramped, so it is kind of hard to do so).

I thought I read that ToQ was a big hit in Japan.

I only pose them for photos and then put em back in the box when done, mostly because I used to display them but the dust reallllly built up and it was a pain to clean.

Maybe for kids, but I rarely see adult fans talked about the show. There's such little discussion and fanworks of the show on Japanese sites from what I've seen. We haven't got any S.H Figuarts of ToQger so far seeing that last year that we got Kyoryu Red last October.

Dude kids are literally ALL that matter in Japan for the success of sentai & rider. It has nothing at all to do with the adults, especially not their discussions on message boards or anything like that. As long as sales figures for the toylines are high in Japan the show is considered a success, even when the TV ratings are in the tank. Like Gaim had pretty bad average ratings but the toys sales were through the roof. The year Kyoryuzin came out it was the #1 selling toy in Japan but it's ratings were on average no better than Go-Busters.

Frankly neither of these things, toy sales for children and TV ratings, have much to do with whether figuarts are produced or not. They don't solely base whether or not they produce collector's line figures for adults on the ratings of the show or the sales of it's toys. It's much more subjective than that.

There's every chance Bandai are just tired of seeing the current reds bomb every year too. From their point of view there's probably no rush to get them out any more.

HELL YES! I need a Kamen Rider G. I'm not even a huge SMAP fan but Inagaki Goro is awesome and just having a figure that is both a Kamen Rider and a Johnny's idol would be a dream come true.

It would even make my pipe dream of having Eight Ranger Figuarts seem less like a pipe dream.

Watching Drive I'm already sold on a figuarts for him, though I do wonder how they'll handle the tire changes.

Seems a bit much to resell the same figure just because one part changed....unless....every tire change is an exclusive D:

I would imagine the tire change could be sold in sets similar what they did with Fourze effect parts.

As I've said countless times in the past: Bandai WON'T be doing that again because then that'll be competing with the gimmick based figures.

That's not gonna be an option, not when they can re-release a perfectly good mould.

Aren't the price points of the SHF and gimmick figure different?

SHF Drive is going to be a main release, and a hypothetical tire set could just be a web exclusive. A tire is way less plastic than fruit armor

Don't forget that Bandai tried doing that in the past with the Fourze Moudel sets, and a majority of them can be found on slash and burn clerance all over the place.

I don't think that's going to be an approach we'll ever see from Bandai again at a mass market, and it doesn't make much sense to release Tire Sets when they can just charge full price for a full on figure.

Well guys, good news and bad news. Sentai Tamashii got to talk to one of our contacts from Bluefin while at NYCC.

- B-Fighters will NOT be released in the US. They will not be importing any of them as they are all exclusives. They will not be released in this market.

- Bluefin had no idea the Akaranger body was larger than standard SHF's. They literally said "must have used a new body type" in response. So yeah, that's all on the Japanese end of things.

- Since there's no Akibaranger to market further sentai SHF's through the importation of Sentai SHF's in the US is pretty much done. They won't rule out importing the Gokaigers entirely but that's no longer their focus. Something vague about "fan demand" making it happen but that's it. They are strictly focusing, for the forseeable future, on Injustice, Mario/Video Game, and other miscellaneous figuarts. So yeah, imports of other sentais are pretty much over even if they do come out in Japan.

- Same goes for Kyoryuger. Only a big maybe about them being imported, only if there's demand. But since so many of them are exclusives it's probably not going to happen. Again vague "fan demand".

- The vague and frankly confusing answer they gave about Gaim? No. They can't release them. Because they haven't finished releasing them in Japan. It's a licensing issue.

- And a bonus for non-toku SHF fans, SHF Tuxedo Mask is coming! Tentatively for March 2015 in Japan!! Also the Kinikuman Figuarts cant currently be released because of licensing issues, but for some bizarre reason they CAN release the wresting ring tamashii stages meant to go with the Kinikuman figuarts.

To me it seems like... "If it's not Mighty Morphin were not doing it".... I mean the Shinkenger SDCC set is still in stock at BBTS. And I think if any else was made it would probably some form of exclusive too most likely the Gokaiger/Super Megaforce figuarts.

It seems like Bluefin just doesn't give a crap about Toku Figuarts anymore, so fine, whatever, **** them!! Had it not been for us Toku fans, Figuarts would not be the big line it is today. And they can take those ugly ass Injustice Figuarts and shove them!!

So basically, Bluefin is a no-go for anything Toku-related now.

I guess Bluefin can't release Gaim figuarts until the line is finish in Japan now huh? I guess America has to wait for future reissues now. I would imagine the same will happen with Drive. They still have a long way to go with Gaim figuarts since there's still other forms and riders that need to be made.

What about Ultraman? I guess Bluefin can still release Ultraman figures. As much I love Ultraman ever since I was a little kid, I do find Ultraman getting a free pass over Kamen Rider rather unfair. I doubt they will sell better over Rider figuarts given how Kamen Rider is a more popular franchise. Kamen Rider has more imported merchandise sold and better fan sub support. The people who are watching the fan subs are the ones who buy the merchandise. Hell Ultraman topics are pretty dead on most Toku forums including here.

When I was at Otakon this year, Bluefin's booth and Image Anime booth had a lot of Rider and Sentai/Power Rangers stuff, but no Ultraman. I ask Bluefin if they had Ginga in stock and they told me "We are not carrying Ultra Acts at this booth".
