Just finished watching Drive episode 36, will watch Fourze's summer movie next.
|
I love the Fourze summer movie, I just rewatched it 2 days ago :)
|
Started re-watching OOO.
|
So I was planning on watching Agito next, but a friend recommended that I give Blade, so I'm watching that instead.
The first episode was.....interesting? It left me both intrigued and confused at the same time. |

I'm just episodes away from Gaim and oh wow this show coul'nt grab ahold of you in the last arc more. As soon as Kachidoki Arms appeared I knew I HAD to finish the show
|
I've put re-watching OOO on hold and I've started watching Ryuki.
|
Sideswipe forced me to watch Kamen Rider The First.
I regret having watched that movie. Moved at breakneck pace, the characters hardly had any character to them, and it just didn't have a sense of charm to it. |

no amount of quality in those rider suits can forgive the entire movie leading up to V3 punching his demon mutant cyborg ghost sister in her big dumb monster mash face.
|
So on episode 14 of Ryuki, Shinji finds out that Gorou isn't dead and that Kitaoka is actually Kamen Rider Zolda. Pretty sure Zolda is going down sooner or later with this new Rider appearing.

If Zolda is going down soon or not is for you to see, but you'll have some great episodes coming up, I'll tell you that much. |

I didn't really bother. I think the point was also to feel sorry for Shinji and hate Kitaoka- because at that point, he was still pretty antagonistic. I think it was also to show Gorou's loyalty to him as well.
|
I did feel it could that Shinji could have been kept in the dark for a bit longer but I have nor problem with that really as with how Shinji reacted to it afterwards which was sort of more important and it is one of the moments which lead to Shinji to being my favourite rider.
|
Yeah, I think Shinji's reaction was the most important part about it because it was to establish his character and not that much to create suspense.

I have returned! 7 Animes and Steven Universe won't interfere with Kamen Rider! lol.
Stronger Episode 6: It was nice to return to Shigeru after my short break of UltraMan Ginga and GARO: Honoo No Kokuin. I just love his intelligence a lot, they don't play that part up when I heard about Stronger but then again most of the Showa Riders were pretty intelligent. I mean he tracked the monster by looking at the traces he left behind which was brilliant. I love his whistle that scares the crap out of the enemies and then his Kool-Aid man entrance was like Surprise Bitches! It was just so awesome. Tackle kicked butt here too besides being knocked down by the Jellyfish Monster in the beginning she held her own pretty good. I like the teamwork between Tackle and Stronger, that Stronger figured it was a better plan that she rescue the kids and keep them safe while he fights the Jellyfish Monster which he could take care of. It's interesting to see Titan and Stronger finally meet transformed, I can't wait for that showdown; Titan seems like a very interesting villain and I love his look. Love the motorcycle fight too that was just very entertaining. I am loving this show, very solid Showa Rider. I can't wait for more. Stronger Episode 7: Well Shigeru is the master trickster to Black Satan here from having Wanida bite his hand to not being affected by the sleeping gas, he was kicking ass and having fun. Shigeru was a badass here he freaking jumped a whole group of the minions to jump kick Wanida (The Alligator monster) in the back. Tackle kicked butt to even though she did get captured this time but it sure was hilarious when Shigeru was only attacking her as a joke and not under mind control. I enjoyed them believing the kid's story this time rather than the last one they didn't really, and Tobei trying to protect the kid was good too, he's really fun in this series too. Stronger has to be really powerful to evaporate a small river/pond or whatever body of water it was, and him shocking the car was great too; Stronger is something else. Honestly I love the hell out of Shigeru right now. He's so much fun and I can't wait for more. |
I apparently made the thread die again lol. It always happens when I watch Kamen Rider lol.
Stronger Episode 8: Well definitely one of the more darker plots of Black Satan, and damn them with their poisoning the people and making them go berserk; though maybe just pure poisoning them would have been a more successful plan if you just wanted to kill people. I dunno but Black Satan definitely more help if they are going to try and defeat Stronger. Shigeru was fantastic once again I loved him kicking ass, using his head, and showcasing his awesome motorcycle skills. I also loved that he made sure Tackle was okay. Tackle actually saved the day creating the antidote and even though she may get overpowered she is genuinely very helpful, kind of like a Booker and Elizabeth relationship here at least in the gameplay-wise comparing it to Bioshock Infinite. Love that Stronger can communicate with Tackle too. Tobei not doing much but is a lot of fun. I feel bad for the family this episode because the kid lost his Uncle because he tried to fight back and that's just disheartening and you can see at the end that fighting Black Satan is affecting Shigeru because of shit like this happening. Also I randomly love Titan-San, I screen cap pics of him and post weird captions on Tumblr it's hilarious. Anyways I can't wait for more. Stronger Episode 9: They have some wacky plans Black Satan, the music to make Adults want to kill Kids is something else lol. Well this was more of a useless episode for Tackle, first of all the Mayor gets killed by the Cyborg Monster and Tackle doesn't look into anything till after the weird music starts playing and by the time she starts fighting Shigeru has already chased after Titan and made it back in time to jump into the fight the Mantis Monster. In the mean time, damn Stronger moves really fast. Stronger was taking no shit this episode, he was kicking the crap out of all the Black Satan minions, hell they even jumped him with rockets on and it did nothing to Stronger. He also used new abilities to see using Infrared scans, able to short out Motorcycle batteries, and make electricity rise out from the ground. Hell I definitely see why he is called Stronger with his powers. The other big thing out of this episode is that Titan is working for the bigger higher up because he was talking to someone. Also Titan was like Stronger isn't a worthy opponent for him which is hysterical because none of the monsters so far have been able to defeat Stronger so what makes you think you can? Still a fun show and I can't wait for more. Stronger Episode 10: Man I hated this fucking Bird monster in this episode, he was just so annoying and the gust of wind attack he used with flapping his arms just looked so weak. Ironically he was one of the more pain in the ass monsters for Stronger and nice to see that something actually gave Stronger trouble. Tackle is great at taking out the minions and then gets trapped by the Monster, but she isn't useless which is good. I am happy that we get the first real fight between Mister Titan and Shigeru this has had some build up and man Titan got a good hit to knock out Shigeru pretty quick. I love how they don't even explain Shigeru escaping the death trap, I thought that was hilarious. Stronger was seriously kick ass this episode showing even more abilities of creating an Electric Barrier and then just being able to summon lightning from the sky! No wonder he's called Stronger, sheesh they put a lot of power into him no wonder Black Satan is pissed off at him. A fun episode and I definitely feel we'll get the showdown between Mister Titan and Stronger soon, and I cannot wait for that and I can't wait for more of this show. |
Finished Ryuki. Don't know what to think of the ending honestly. I roughly knew what would happen because someone hit me with spoilers, but I still can't really deal with it.
The show was great though. I liked Kuuga & Agito much better, but Ryuki was very good too. Next up... Faiz. I know most people hate it, but after watching three in a row now I want to continue in a chronological order. |
Hey, at least watching chronologically means that after Faiz, you'll watch Blade which is muuuuuch better xD
I sadly watched from Decade backwards, so after being really happy with Blade, I was super-disappointed with Faiz. |

Faiz is pretty much a very drama/soap opera like Rider. Lot of shit could have been avoided, but young adult hormones and what not.
Still like it though. May not be the best Rider out there but it is pretty entertaining, and outright hilarious at moments. |
I'm not afraid of the badness, I survived Wizard. And I kinda enjoyed it.
But back then it was my second Rider-show and I didn’t knew how good Rider could be aside from Gaim which was very different. So I'm pretty open minded for Faiz. |

Positive talking: It isn’t The First or The Next.
… Right?! |
Yeah, at least that. But it does have moments that are pretty close.

Finished Blade. It was pretty good. I think all the characters are interesting, and they're all well written. The two stand outs for me are Tachibana and Hajime, though I like Kenzaki as well. My one major issue with the show is Mutsuki, not Mutsuki himself, but more the fact that when he shows up he's running away, and being somewhat influenced by the Spider Undead, then to be possesed by it for most of the series, so we don't get to learn much about Mutsuki himself. As for the ending, there's not much wrong with it as an ending. I think it shows how far Kenzaki has come to sacrifice his humanity and leave behind all he's known and loved for the sake of Hajime and the world. It does kind of suck how it's a sad ending for Kenzaki himself, but mostly happy for everyone else, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think this show handles it's drama really well, like Tachibana and Mutsuki's character arcs in particular. Both always had me on the edge of my seat, and I like that they didn't just delve into melodrama. That's also Blade a whole, it's a very dramatic Rider series, which is a new experience for me, as Fourze and Den-O were very lighthearted. Yeah, Gaim was very dramatic as well, but most of that is because of the complete tonal shift halfway through the series, and because this show has a more consistent tone, I think it works a bit better here. As for rankings? I don't know...as for far they are:
1. Den-O 2. Fourze 3. Gaim 4. Kiva 5. Decade I think I would place it abover Kiva, but I'm really struggling on whether or not I should rank it above Gaim or not. |
Finished OOO awhile ago, started Fourze but didn't get through it and somehow ended up watching Den-O. I believe we are about half way through Den-O :) I'm loving it!

OOO episode 1:
Pretty good first episode. Kougami is REALLY freaking weird! If I have one complaint it's Over-Time's subs. I don't like that they spell Greeed with 2 "e"s when it's clear it's spelled with 3, or how they write OOO's name as "Os". It's minor, but it still bothered me. There was also some really cool cinematography here, like the scene with Uva, Mazool, Ka-Kaz...whatever cat dude's name- KAZARI!, and the gray dude talking. How they were switching positions mid conversation, it was really neat. |
OOO 2: Still good. I like how we got a bunch of little glimpses of backstory here and there. Kougami is still really weird.
|
I'm not watching it anymore, but I just finished it this weekend so it still kinda feels like it? I watched Blade over a couple of weeks is what I'm saying. The beginning was a mess, but the thing as a whole improved steadily the more it went on. The ending was pretty good for the most part, but I feel there's kind of an Elephant Undead in the room with it, that being, uh, Tachibana? I really don't know what in the hell is up with that and it really distracted me. It's still distracting me. I don't know.
The movie was garbage. Anyway, now I'm watching the original Kamen Rider, I'm on episode 11 I think? It's pretty alright, kinda cheesy I guess and the special effects are laughable, but I don't dislike anything about it. It's fun. |

Anyway, as for me...OOO 3 Boy Ankh still isn't a nice guy, and the concept of Yummies taking people as hosts is interesting. Also, Kougami was great. |
