Did anyone get Kuuga on AmiAmi?

This is when they're supposed to go up I thought... 2 AM CST, like every other time.... I had woken up a few minutes prior and refreshed my open and waiting tab right at that. And it's at pre-orders closed already. :(

I didn't. Soon as I refreshed the page, he was gone. Really hoping it's a glitch or something.

It's a snails pace right now for me to even get my Cardcaptor Sakura order in. Kuuga was gone for me too.

Well, I just secured (and I mean that in the loosest way possible) a pre-order on HLJ.

Really hoping I can get that Kuuga on AmiAmi so I can continue to avoid dealing with HLJ.

If Bluefin gets him I'll just cancel since at least HLJ won't cut off your head for doing that like AmiAmi. May mean getting later, but Amazon is definitely more reliable.

Given that I don't have an April order at AmiAmi yet, I wouldn't mind nabbing Kuuga from Nippon-Yasan since I need to order SIC Super TaToBa too.

Oh, I do like those. The lightning effect would work great for Sailor Jupiter and Blade.

The wind effect is just awesome; cliche as it is coming from me, I really hope they do one in silver/gray/white or blue.

Wind is totally Double... Which I'm okay with; don't have regular CycloneJoker.

Lightning though? I thought Stronger always looked fine. :/

Renewal Double is completely fine with me. Got the CycloneJoker earlier this year and while I like it it has alot of problems.

So glad I've been holding off until now.

But alas, a LunaTrigger/CycloneTrigger version is most likely never going to happen...

Yeah the Renewals seem to be just the base forms and it will be a long time until we see other forms with the new bodies.

I don't think Stronger needs to be renewal since it's already a great looking figure. I think those character models are used on display to show off the effect parts. I don't think they are a sign of anything being renewal. If Stronger gets renewal then I will likely skip it since I think the original is already fine on it's own. I think only rider figuarts should get renewals if they really need it like Kuuga and Kabuto.

I also do think Garo's figuarts are nice too. I guess Tamashii Nation saw my post on this forums after all :D.

Except that they said last week (or some time recently) that the effect parts are linked to upcoming renewals.

Did anyone manage to score Kuuga off N-Y before they sold out? Even CDJapan has sold out. I was a little torn because, while the figure looks nice, I'm not a fan of the show. I guess missing all the pre-orders helped settle that one for me. Especially with all of the awesome stuff coming down the pipeline.

Either it sold out in about 2 minutes of going up, or it only appeared on the front page when it was already sold out. I was refreshing for it and it was gone as soon as I saw it.

Okay, thanks for the heads up. It's possible that the other lighting effect part can be for another character. Just like Shadowmoon Renewal, a renewal of Stronger seems pointless. I got my SHF Stronger in 2012 and he's still great. W can understand since his base form is missing some paint and he's bare bones too.

Sucks that Kuuga is sold out on NY. I was hoping that I can pre-order him this morning, but I was asleep when he first went up. I guess I can hope for Bluefin to bring him over now.
