Seeing as Hasbro sunk a good deal of money into those combiner molds and people seem to like them a lot I'm not surprised they want as much out of them as they can before mold degradation sets in. We saw it with the Car Brothers, the Classics seekers and we're sure as rain going to see as many combiners come out as HasTak can make 'em.

I do wonder which character's getting each mold though. Smart money says the Onslaught/Bludgeon mold for Megatron and Hot Spot/ Pyra Magna for Optimus Primal.

I know the layouts aren't going to be what I exactly want but this is what I wish to see how the combiners turn out to be.

Maximals:

Optimus; aforementioned Hot Spot
Cheetor; Drag Strip
Rhinox; Rook
Rattrap; Breakdown
Dinobot; Prowl/Streetwise/Smokescreen

Predicons:

Megatron: aforementioned Onslaught
Waspinator: that CW helicopter mold that's used a lot.
Scorpinok: Swindle/Hound
Terrorsaur: Firefly
Tarantulas: If Hasbro can get the rights to it UW Groove.

Well RID 2015 has very little marketing to it. I see no ads for it anywhere and I saw like one toy commercial for it. I would have never know about the show if I was not a fan of the series. There was McDonalds had happy meal toys for it, but that was about it. I guess Hasbro is not worry about ratings for the show as long if the toy sales are good.

Typical CN. RiD is a nice little show, nothing special, but I liked watching a few episodes here and there.

I had a discussion over this already over at TFW when it was just a future scenario thought by a fellow user, and my statement still stands:

Strike 1: Combiner Wars Molds. They are just not for me.

Strike 2: Beast Wars characters that don't turn into beasts. Like, why? The Timelines-idea was neat, but this is where they should've stopped with releasing BW-characters as toys who turn into vehicles. That's not what Beast Wars is about, it’s about beasts, they are in the freakin title of the franchise.

Not that I would buy Botcon items in the first place, but this is still not for me, at all.

There are so many other things they could've done with the CW molds, too. Like an RID set (fire truck OP, Car Brothers and Skid-Z/Tow-Line).

Oh dangit CN, RiD is a fun show.

While an interesting novelty getting vehicle versions of the BW cast would require very clever part usage to be interesting, Ravage comes out of nowhere and feels boring as there's no reason to assume he ever transformed into something different than a feline in his lifetime.

ok so apprently megatron in devastation does not transform in to a gun so if the game does well could we see a new G1 MP megatron that transformers what ever he transform in to in devastation
