I don't necessarily agree with that, since those episodes kind of embody what makes Future different from classic SU, which is what the poster was having issue with.

Honestly, if someone just really didn't want to watch Future, I'd only really recommend Volleyball.

I mean, I guess I was more curious how people who watched all of Future took it, not necessarily gauging how I'd take it. I wasn't really looking for recommendations, I was wondering how it worked for other fans.

Like, was Future worth it for you? Did it make Steven Universe (as a franchise) better? Worse? As its own thing, was it satisfying? I'm just trying to get a sense for how fans feel about it as a show.

Future was a daring show, going deeper into PTSD and how it effects people. It does change how the show is viewed, but it ultimately doesn't change too much

I enjoyed Future but do agree it was a bit rushed. Was getting annoyed that Steven and Connie just called each other friends. I know if Pearl was real she would be loved by EVERYONE for she greets people with toilet paper.

I want to agree with that, but of 20 episodes, only 2 really deals with that issue.
It's more about coming to terms with change and growth.

The show already established that the world is quite different. Pennsylvania is called Keystone, for example (It's nickname is the Keystone state in the real world, but they explicitly stated it's name is actually Keystone).
