Yeah, I’m not to familiar with this line of monsters either, but here’s what I can gather.

The original, Grigio Bone, was meant as an assistant to the original Rosso and Blu from O-50. After they died, the monster crystal ended up in the hands of Aizen Corp, who evolved it into Grigio King and Grigio Regina (where Raiden fits into that evolution, I don’t know). Eventually, the new Rosso and Blu’s sister got her hands on the Regina Crystal and used it to evolve the power into Ultrawoman Grigio (note: despite being spelt the same in English, the monster is pronounced “gru-geo”, while the Ultra is “gree-joe”.

The original Grigio was Saki Mitsurugi's real name. While her brothers (Rosso/Blu) were given Ultraman powers by the Warrior's Peak (where Orb also got his powers) she got the ability to transform into a kaiju.

I remember how I used to think that all the filming of these New-Gen Ultraman shows is done before the first episode goes live. Anyway, looking forward to whatever exciting performances await in the latter half of the show!

But yeah Ultraman is usually pretty good with filming super ahead, it's why they were barely affected by the whole virus situation.

I'll agree with you on that, granted I've only seen Orb's and Geed's, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Like yeah there's some clip elements but it's real nice seeing just the set up to it all.

Because yep, this is our standard clipshow and I just loved the framing of it all.

Also that little heart to heart moment at the end with Haruki and Z was just great.

Next week has me really excited though, my boy Bullton is back and it's looking to be just as amazing as the original 66' debut!
