Kamen Rider Accel (2010, Kamen Rider W)

Facts!
Accel:

• Has 3 forms (4 counting bike form)
• Wields the Engine Blade, which has 3 different attacks (Jet, Electric, Steam)
• Bike Form allows him to travel without the use of a Rider Machine, can combine with the Gunner A, to use a powerful shot, or a Maximum Drive using the Engine memory
• Most Powerful Form: Trial (TV), Booster (Movies)
• Trial allows him to move at fast speeds, giving him the ability to slash or hit an opponent multiple times in a small amount of time
• Booster allows Accel to fly at fast speeds
• Weakness: Needs Gaia Memories to Henshin, Trial takes away Bike Form and offensive power

Meteor:

• Trained in Jeet Kune Do
• Transforms via the Meteor Driver and Meteor switch, which can link him up to the M Bus satelite.
• Armed with the Meteor Galaxy, which has 3 seperate settings- Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Mars creates a projection of Mars called the Mars Breaker, which can reach a temperature of 1470 degrees F. Jupiter creates a projection called the Jupiter Hammer, giving Meteor sheer strength and a powerful punch. Using Saturn creates a projection of Saturn called Saturn Sorcery, giving him the ability to shoot energy rings
• By placing the Meteor Switch into the Meteor Galaxy, Meteor uses a Limit Break called Starlight Shower, allowing Meteor to rapidly punch his opponent
• Most Powerful Form: Meteor Storm
• As Meteor Storm, Meteor is armed with the Meteor Storm Shaft. When the Meteor Storm switch is placed into the Meteor Storm Shaft, it initiates an attack called Meteor Storm Punisher, where the Storm Topper launches from the staff, absorbing opponent's energy and getting stronger with each strike.
• Can utilize Fourze's Elec and Fire Switches to give his attack elemental properties
• Rides the Meteorstar Rider Machine, which is lighter and faster than Fourze's Massigler.
• Weakness- If the M Bus is destroyed, or if someone shuts it down, Ryuusei can't transform.

I love you, Accel. But quite frankly, a guy who makes red leather pants awesome is nowhere near an Astro-Disco Bruce Lee.

This is actually a pretty difficult decision. I'm thinking I'll go with Meteor, perhaps for a little bit of bias, but also because he's one of the most skilled fighters we've had in a while. Ryu just relies on how insanely bulky the Engine Blade is; Ryuusei has had specific training. Plus, his Kenshiro Limit Break could easily counter Trial's Maximum Drive. Plus, the Fire, Elec and Magnet Switches are simply more varied and utile than Jet, Electric and Steam.

Oh dear, I don't know who to vote for :cry. I guess I'll have to give it to Meteor. He might not have the super speed of Trial or the flight of Booster, but he has a lot of options to work with.

One word: HUWAAAA-TAAA!!

Meteor would honestly wipe the floor with Accel. Terui is formidable and has raw power but Meteor is just more skilled, His mind works differently. This would be an interesting matchup to see for real. It could play out either way but I'd give the edge to Meteor.

I'mma give it to Meteor. Just don't see Accel having much of any advantage in this fight, except maybe speed.

This is an incredibly difficult decision for me, since I'm currently watching W and loving the hell out of Accel. But I have to give the win to Meteor here, as powerful as Accel is Ryuusei has more skill and training to back himself up with.

Sadly enough, this is the first Kamen Rider matchup in which I'm familiar with both characters, having finished and loved both series.

Meteor is definitely a more skilled fighter than Accel, plus I think his Meteor Storm power-up was more significant than Accel Trial, which barely saw screen-time in the show proper.

Still I will admit I'm biased because I like Meteor a lot more as a character. I could barely stand Accel during his first episodes, while I took an immediate liking to Meteor.

Bet you can't guess who I picked? Ryuusei is the man. I like Accel but I think his temper is way worst than Meteor. That would leave him open for a mistake that he could Ryuusei could cash in on.

Meteor would win this. And that's who I voted for. I know "But Sentai, Accel can become a motorcycle!". And? So could Scooter in Go-Bots, that didn't make him suck less. Yes. That's why Accel's new name shall be: Kamen Rider Scooter.

I have to go with Meteor here. The only thing I really really like about Terui is how he says "hen.....shin!"
Whereas Meteor is very cool all around.
Both of them were riders who I wasn't fond of design-wise at first but grew on me.
Meteor is also more skilled.

I think your all crazy, I'd go streagh and speed over perstion and pationts any day. It's true meteor has had training but you all have to remimber accel has too, he has the police force training remember lol

Now this is a good match-up. I think I have to go with Meteor on this one. And I think from now on I will use Sentai's new name for Accel, Scooter :thumb:

No, Kamen Rider Scooter sucks. I'm sorry but no. His main point of interest is he turns into his motorcycle. How useless is that?! "Sorry guys, can't join the fight. My ass ran out of gas."

Not really...He rarely does the motorcycle thing in favor of straight up fighting.
And then W Returns: Accel reminded us that he's still a trained cop.

If you think that's all he does, you need to actually watch W.

Yeah he's certainly more useful than just being a bike. Accel is a formidable Rider, no doubt about that. Its just that in this instance id say his power is trumped by Meteors superior skills. Its a close match to call it really is and most of us aren't trying to say Accel sucks or is weak. Just that Meteor has the edge.

Maybe I do need to watch W. But from what I saw so far, all anyone as said (For the most part) is how he can turn into a bike. That's useless. I'm very satisfied voting for Meteor over Scooter in this one. And it has alot to visually as well. Scooter is just a matte red, with one of the worst helmet designs freaking ever. While Meteor just looks beauiful. The star pattern, the translucent helmet cover. It all combines to look freaking great. Freaking.

Actually, Accel rarely uses the bike form. It was mainly used in his debut to chase down the Ice Age Dopant and he uses the Gunner unit to take down Triceratops. Then we have awesome moments when W rode Accel(it makes sense in context) in a tag team effort to defeat Liar or the time he combined his bike form with the Turbolar unit to battle Terror's dragon. That later example was just awesome, especially since I thought the bike transformation was silly from the early images. Also once he switches over to Trial, the bike transformation is gone because he doesn't need it with super speed, nor does he need it with Booster because that can fly.

But yes, you need to watch W. It's one of the best Heisei Rider shows.

I'll go with Meteor since the only time I've seen Accel was in one of the movies where I didn't think he really did that much.

Accel is awesome, and as a series, I must say I like W more, but I think as far as fighting goes, Meteor would win this.

IXA:

• The Ixa Knuckle serves as his transformation device and becomes the Broken Fang with the use of the Knuckle Fuestle, where the Ixa Knuckle charges up and releases a spreading burst of heat energy on the target, leaving the Fangire in the fragile state without the Knuckle coming in contact with the target. This burst of energy can also take the form of a sphere that flies into the target. When used without the Knuckle Fuestle, even while not transformed into Ixa, the user can use a much weaker but still effective version of the Broken Fang. When the user pushes the knuckle into another part of their body, it announces "Ready". Unlike most devices with electronic voices in the franchise, the Ixa Knuckle says its phrases one character/syllable at a time. In the 2008 storyline, it undergoes an upgrade from Ver.X to Ver.XI.
• Ixa's weapon is known as the Ixa Calibur which has a Gun Mode and a sword-like Calibur Mode. While in Calibur Mode and after using the Calibur Fuestle, the Ixa Calibur can perform its Rider Slash finisher known as the Ixa Judgement, where Calibur Mode is charged, showing the sun (instead of the moon in Kiva's case), blinding the target before Ixa hits with a powerful slash. While Ixa is in Rising Ixa mode, the Ixa Calibur can perform Ixa Judgement without the use of the Calibur Fuestle, performed in a forward-flipping slash.
• Rides the IXAlion motorcycle.
• Can summon the Powered Ixer, Ixa's mechanical dragon developed by the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization as a means to combat a Sabbat, and Kiva's Castle Doran. Piloted by Ixa, the Ixer's mouth functions as a robotic arm to either fling Sabbats and Castle Doran around or like a catapult to launch orbs at an enemy. Although only half as large as Castle Doran, it has proven to be both a formidable ally and nuisance to it. • Most Powerful form: Rising IXA

By inputting several numeric codes known as Ixariser Blast Commands, Rising Ixa accesses multiple modes of the Ixariser. In its gun mode, accessed by inserting a fuestle into the fuestle slot on the back and rotating the slot around the side to become the handle, the Ixariser has massive recoil. The Ixariser is no longer necessary to transform into Rising Ixa as the feature is now available within the Ixa Knuckle, but it is still effective as a sidearm.

• Can use the same attacks as Black
• Can grow to giant size in the crossover movie with ZO and J
• Weakness: Stone of the Moon can be shattered.

I'm putting my vote for Shadow Moon. He's proven that he can handle himself with Riders and while Meteor's no slouch in combat he can let his emotions get the best of him during times that call for focus. Also IXA has ego problems up the wazoo and there's no way SM would want to lose to a opponent that dislikes music.

Hrm, I'm leaning toward Shadow Moon but I think I'll consider this a bit more before I cast my vote.

Definitely have to represent my favorite Rider show here and go with Shadow Moon, although not by as huge a margin as you might think. Nobuhiko is just a huge powerhouse and with the Satan Saber he's even stronger. There's no way Ixa has any chance against that. Meteor, I think, would be a lot closer. In the end, though, I think Shadow Moon is just too tough and powerful for Ryusei to take down. It'd be a close one, though.

I have to give it to Meteor. As much as I love IXA, he's horribly outgunned here. So it's down to Meteor and Shadow Moon. So it's a dude with some swords vs a guy who knows Jeet Kun Do and has the power of cosmos to boost his attack power. Simple conclusion for me.

That being said, Shadow Moon will probably coast on popularity power(is he even a Rider?) :lol.

Meteor. Though this was hard because I like Shadow Moon too. But everyone keeps saying "But he isn't the one from Deeeecaaaaade". And since that's the only SM I know, it has to be Meteor.

Meteor. IXA might be trained to actually be a Rider, and Shadowmoon might have been surgically transformed into a Rider, but Meteor is Astro-Disco Bruce Lee

Gonna vote IXA on this one, I haven't actually seen anything with Shadowmoon in it other than All Riders, so I can't really fairly judge him, but between IXA and Meteor, I just thenk that IXA has a somewhat small advantage in battle.

I'm going with meteor again because I haven't seen enough of IXA and Shadowmoon in action to make a proper decision.

IXA, because guns > swords & fists, despite what Bot Shots would have you believe. :lol

In fairness, Shadow Moon's sword shoots lightning and Meteor can throw Saturn rings from his fist.

I'm.... not sure I could choose on this one. I think it's fair to say that Ixa stands no chance here. Nago is very skilled but Ryusei is much more so. Even if Ixa uses Rising, Meteor can just use Storm to up the ante. Shadow Moon is a power house though. I'm not sure that in a one on one fight the Meteor could actually take out Shadow Moon. I need to think this over more before I finalize my vote.
