Well..enjoy Beware while it lasts...cause there is NOTHING in the pipeline coming out for DC animated stuff other than DVDs for the next 2 years.
|
I think a two year break will be good for DC, maybe that'll give them time to work on another TAS and not another mediocre in every sense Beware.
|
Just watched Predacons Rising, and ultimately it did answer what it means to be a Prime.
A good ending to an enjoyable series with both it's ups and downs, good job Transformers Prime, you earned a spot in my heart. :thumb: |
As far as I can tell, there's nothing planned...because Cartoon Network doesn't want any DC action adventure. So no TAS in the works.

Atleast until Cartoon Network asks for an action adventure series. There has been so many cool pitches at WB/DCa and so many pilots made that no one outside will ever see, only problem is whether CN wants them or not.
|
I just hope they eventually make a direct to DVD Killing Joke movie at some point.

It would have been awesome as an Under the Red Hood prequel of sorts. |
It kinda annoys me that R rated films can do fantastically, but due to their very nature not being mass market, they pretty much get written off as a failure as no one seems to think about their specific context.
You have about three generations complaining about how watered down and kid friendly our media has become, and yet they continue to churn out these 12a cash ins, because a 12a means they have four whole extra sets of audiences to drain profit from. |

What is it with Marvel and Dr.Doom lately?
He's made a ton of appearances between Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spiderman, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes... |

Does anyone else miss Diedrich Bader as Batman? Don't get me wrong, Anthony Ruivivar does a great job as Batman, but Bader... his voice is one I could only dream of developing.

It might be because I'm an odd person, but I really want to see the Beware the Batman universe have a franchise built around the Gray Ghost, with Bruce Wayne being a huge nerd in regards to Gray Ghost fiction.

"I always thought Gray Ghost: The Great and the Gallant was a bit too campy, although it did have its moments." "I could never believe that the Gray Ghost in The Gray Ghost was only just starting out, considering how many high-profile villains he fought." "Beware the Gray Ghost is a timeless treasure, although it began to lose its edge with the animation-shift in Season 4." "Gray Ghost: The Animated Series has a great story, but I'm not a fan of the animation." "Tristan Kale's portrayal of the Gray Ghost was excellent, but the raspy voice was just stupid." |

I wonder what he thought of the 60's Gray Ghost. :lol |

"I prefer Jim Hurton's first two Gray Ghost films over Cole Clumacher's films, although neither director really understood the character." "Hank Diller's run on Gray Ghost was always over-rated, but I find his earlier works to at least be passable, especially when compared to All-Star Gray Ghost and Phantom." "I think that Ken Kaffleck can portray the Gray Ghost decently in the upcoming Man of Iron sequel." The possibilities... oh, how plentiful they are. |

I rewatched "Journey to the Center of the Bat!" a while ago. One thing that bothered me was that Ryan Choi knew a lot about the human body... despite being a physicist, not a physician. He even pointed that fact out in the episode, and yet he was able to identify the fact that Platelet wasn't a platelet. |

So yeah. |

Oh, well. That episode was still awesome. Just for the fact that Ryan Choi went completely berserk over Platelet's "death." |
Latest episode of Legend of Korra. Good animation. Interesting if a little predictable turn of events.

We see Northern Water troops occupying Southern Water towns, the uneasiness that comes with the sight of seeing your homeland patrolled by an armed presence. We see the troops on edge, feeling like they are in hostile territory. Its rather indicative of many real world conflicts. I won't name them because then the post gets too political. Unalaq is cutting a very Palpatine-type figure right about now. He strokes his niece's ego to win her over to his side while playing up his royal and spiritual laurels. To her credit though, Korra hasn't pulled an Anakin heel-turn just yet and I think at the end of the episode that doesn't seem likely. |
In all honesty, I don't think Unalaq is a bad guy. Now, that doesn't say anything about his future, but I think he does honestly believe that Korra is capable of becoming a better Avatar. What I have a problem with, though, is Varrick leading the rebellion. He doesn't seem like the type who would.
