Tonight we finally caught up on Super. The episodes with Hit were really good and I loved the plot twist. Did not see that coming. That was hilariously awesome. And then the Great Saiyaman two parter was enjoyable. Plus, it was nice to have a pair of episodes that focused solely on Gohan. What's even funnier is that I knew Videl was not going to doubt Gohan's love, but sometimes you wonder if the writers are going to throw in unneccessary drama because reasons. Glad they didn't and they stuck true to her character. Great stuff all around.

I don't think you have to worry Toriyama has been very vocal that he doesn't like writing romance plots*cause he's bad at it*.

We got our first official female SSj that is not a OC from Xenoverse and Heroes. I never thought to see a character similar to Broli ever again. I'm so hype up right now for the next arc.

So it's basically Broly resurrected (Again) and Rule 63'd.

It won't surprise me if Toei ask Toriyama to make a new character similar to Broli (Broly) given how popular he is.

With so many new characters, I really hope that they don't waste them all. Like have most of them be jobbers and be nothing else.

I watch Episode 5 dub of Super on Saturday night. The dub was okay I guess. Funimation and Toonami air the fixed animation episode, so it does look a lot better than the one that air on TV a year and half ago.

I felt like Schemmel's SSj3 voice didn't sound that great because it sound too gruff in my opinion. I also notice they added jokes and lines that didn't exist in the Japanese version like King Kai saying, "No Vegeta-ing?" and Vegeta saying "Sure let's go see Yamcha?". The last line was pretty funny, but I never like adding stuff in dubs that don't exist in the original scripts. Funimation had a bad rep with anime fans for doing that like 15-20 years ago. I personally don't want them to do that since I like having faithful dubs.

Finally have gotten fully caught up on Super.

First, the episodes were great, loved them all. The two parter with Krillin and Goku was well done and gave us a lot of great nods of nostalgia. It was also quite enjoyable to get something where Krillin had a chance to shine again.

The last episode was kind of odd. To start, was it just Crunchyroll or did the animation seem different? Like things seemed to be a lot darker than normal and not as smooth. The kick-off to this arc was well done but I couldn't believe the two Zen-Ohs are just wiping out planets as if they were candy just because they were bored. WTF?! I laughted my ass off when both Goku and Whis told Vegeta that it was Bulma having the baby, not him. To be honest though, Goku is starting to get on my nerves. He's become an entitled prick. He feels everyone is obligated to make him stronger and gets downright mean spirited if they don't entertain him. Hell, he is the reason all of these universes are now going to be at risk for destruction.

Now there is one annoyance I had, which had nothing to do with the episodes themself but rather the subtitles. Good god, who is subtitling this? There is no reason why when I hear Goku say "Kinto-Un" I should see "Cloud Nimbus" on the subs. The same goes with attacks. I don't care if those are the English names, those are not the names, or even the translations, for their Japanese names.

The new episode of Super was pretty good. Seeing Fat Buu fight again is going to be a lot of fun. I do like how everything is going to be destroy thanks to Goku's selfishness. It's going to bite him back in the ass if U7 loses.

I have to agree. After all this time, when it comes to knowing when to stop pressing, and knowing when a situation might go from bad to worse based on your actions- it doesn't seem like Goku or Vegeta have learned that yet.

They're so obsessed with being trained by higher and higher beings that they don't seem to care if anything else gets remotely effected in the process- it IS selfish- and they always blame it on their "Saiyan ways," and it's like: No...you guys are just pricks...it doesn't get any simpler than that. If you're not training, you're destroying stuff, if you're not destroying stuff you're eating up a storm, and if you're not eating up a storm you're running away from your families- how is none of that selfish? lol

Dunno why you're lumping Vegeta in with that - he respects the gods and clearly cares about his family. Sure he wants to keep getting stronger, but he isn't putting universes at risk like Goku is. Vegeta wouldn't have dared approach Zen-Oh the way Goku did.

Luud was called a "God of Destruction" in Dragonball Heroes.

Toyotarō made fun of that fact in the past when he drew this picture, and now that he designed the rest of the gods he decided to take that joke to a whole new level :lol

U3 GoD being a homage to Lord Ludd was a nice homage to the character (He was called God of Destruction in the subs of GT too). I like all of the designs expect for U1 God of Destruction because it looks lazy to me. However U12 God of Destruction looks really badass to me.

OK, so it was an intentional homage. I can see that.

Last night's episode of Super was awesome since it nice to see Fat Buu fight and win. Also Tsuyoshi Koyama (Voice actor for Kamen Rider Odin) voices Basil and he did a great job on the role. I really dig the Trio De Dangers so far.

Meanwhile the dub of Super on Toonami has made the re-tellings of BOG more watchable in my opinion thanks to Jason Douglas voicing Beerus. That guy's voice for Beerus is always great to listen too.

Last night's new episode of Super was really good. It was a close match, but I'm glad that Gohan didn't lost. Also in Xenoverse 2 states that the Champa Saga is set in Age 779, the same year that Resurrection F takes place in. At least we know what year it takes place in now.
