I think it's more that not many people collect Sofubis. Personally, I only own GoseiPink and Toq#5- I can't say much about how long Sofubis are produced, but they do differ in build, though that might be just a thing of proportions between the teams?

Why hasn't Bandai Japan made a action figure of ToQ 1 gu Black, White and of the Rainbow? The last one could have been the living embodiment of all the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Black(for the visor), White(for the boots), Purple and Sixth Rangers(to represent the Orange colour; kinda like how AkaRed is the living embodiment of all the Red Rangers.

Well they've only made 3 of the ToQgers in action figure form, but not the girls, sixth or Hyper. I'm honestly more surprised by the fact that they never even made those vynil figures of the other Kyoryugers. Though thankfully we have Dino Charge to give us figures.

7L, it could happen, but it would be in theme only (science and birds), not tone, style, or design. Older shows like Bioman and Jetman aren't in style with the target audience right now.

I know you long for how sentai once was and it was great, but the show has to evolve with the target audience instead of staying geared toward one audience until they die out, then move on to the next. Shows like sentai or KR or PR or Ultraman can't survive like that.

Eh. Every season can't be everyone's cup of tea. I gave up on Magiranger twice before finishing it, Sun Vulcan thrice, and Battle Fever J once already. It happens.

I wish could have a balance between classic concepts with the modern sentais.

Hope this is the right place to ask - I'm going to be visiting Japan next month and wondered if people had advice for places a Super Sentai Fan should visit. Other than Super Sentai, I don't really watch anime, or other toku stuff, so I'm really hoping to pin down the best Super Sentai merch places.

Mandarake is a great place to go. The have used toys in good quality for pretty neat prices. As for new toys, they are sold in pretty much store that has toys I guess.

When I went to Japan, I made sure to go to Akihabara. It is a district full of shops and arcades where you can find anything you would want. Also Shibuya has some good places to shop.
