Zi-O II is so weird to me, I would love to know how it fits into Zi-O's final form come May/June. Though I suppose it could always lead into an altered Oma Zi-O suit, wouldn't mind an early leak of it like with Genius though.

According to the next episode summary in the official site, the Gaim arc starts by

Sogo getting the Gaim Armor and beating Another Gaim, but then god Kouta appears and apparently we go back to the past. It's probably related to the second Zi-O.


Decade Armor is the end of year upgrade (Sparking/MBXX/Boost equivalent), while Zi-O II is TankTank/RabbitRabbit/Maximum Gamer/Grateful.

That was a hype trailer. The story seems really interesting. It's just too bad we still don't have any idea as to who will be returning! They're really keeping it under wraps this time and its making me antsy!

I'd guess that might be the world after every Heisei Rider is erased, since that's supposed to be the goal of the movie villain.

Never watched Decade but heard that AR Kuuga doesn't make the cut. Let's see here now that I think OG Kuuga will appear, plus that scene in the tomb feels sooo nostalgic

Either that or just there for a monologue perhaps. If they cant get Odagiri back I would not mind if they go with reviving Riku. Suit actor for Kuuga is still around who also played the role of Riku during flashbacks.

So after Gaim which tribute will be next? Probably Decade since Zi-O will definitely use that to pair up with Build Genius in HG Forever.

Although Agito, Kiva and Blade's Ridewatches have been released so there's that too

Set images have shown Shun Nishime on-location as Takeru, alongside the suits for Agito and Hibiki (both wearing the DecaDriver), and Kamen Rider Zi-O Ghost Armour - so it's a dual Ghost/Decade arc, I'd say, like Fourze/Faiz.

Considering how we didn't see an Another Decade or the Decade Armor, I think it's more likely going to be a Ghost arc, featuring Decade, that leads into the actual Decade arc.

That would make sense, especially since there's a rumor that Decade will mentor Zi-O or something so he might have an extra presence compared to other Legend Riders.

I'm thinking Decade as well. With Gaim, Zi-O and Geiz will have all the main Ridewatches of Heisei Phase 2 with the single exception of W -- whose ridewatch it seems pretty likely they'll get in Heisei Generations Forever.
They cycled through these pretty damn fast.

I'm curious if Inoue will actually appear in the show or if he'll just be doing voice over work while the Decade suit is all that we see.

Of all the actors, I'd say Decade's is the most likely to come back unless he's busy with other projects. He's come back in a lot of KR-related stuff and he's really into the franchise.

It'd be interesting to see the dynamic between him and Geiz.

I could see a situation where he ends up like Stalk/Evol in Build. Mostly making suit appearance with the actor only showing up for some scenes, especially if he does appear for 3-4 episodes rather than the usual 1-2.

That being said their revealing Ghost this early... this is feeding into my theory about December Zi-O. We've seen the leaked set photos where there's also a few Decade forms running around with Ghost Armor and Another Ghost.

Their keeping Tsukasa's actor a secret until the time is right more than likely.

It sucks that Ghost's cast didn't get the last minute reveal like OOO and Gaim did.

Build: Accessing all the weapons Kamen Rider Build has such as using Drill Crusher, Hawk Gattlinger, 4Koma Ninpoutou, Kaizoku Hassyar.

Ex-Aid: Using rocket arms much like Gekitotsu Robot and Shakariki Sports or using the full powers of Drago Knight Hunter Z.

Fourze: Using Billy the Rod, Hee-Hackgun and any other of the Switches.

OOO: Using other of the OOO's combos.

It's probably because Decade is the one getting that.


According to the official specs in the official website, he can't. The Rider Watches just give the power of the base forms with a couple of extras (like Ghost Armor summoning the Parka Ghosts or the Build armor using the finish line to lock the enemy in place). We're getting at least Build Sparking separately from Build itself through the Decade Armor, but it's not clear if we'll see any of the other alternate forms.

If OOOs is any indication, as well as some of the other leaked stuff, we might start seeing some of that towards Q3 or 4. But select things, not all in show. At least final forms were heavily hinted at and further Ride Majin enhancements. Potentially more ride gadgets too.

We're getting final form Ridewatches already in q2, but they had no armor designs in the toyguide in spite of the W-> Build ones being part of the DX line up. So, it's not clear what role, if any, they'll play in the show.

I was assuming form Ridewatches were toy-exclusive but then Tajador turned up so who even knows.

Weirdly they seem to be going by Zi-O having new weapons inspired by the previous weapons instead of just using their weapons, and several have weapons built into the suit. Even though it probably would have been easier to just give them the weapons they still have the props for.

The point is giving unique gimmicks to the transformation toys, which is also why each weapon had a different arrangement (one blade for Build, two punching buttons for Ex-Aid, Rockets for Fourze).

The Hei Saber's finishing attack is "Heisei Riders! Ultimate Time Break!". It can also change powers by moving the clock hand.

It also teases a certain other Rider and the end of the description really seems to be suggesting a rather big development in the show.

The "Ghost arc" starts with Another Ghost stealing a person's soul. Sogo who witnessed the incident turns into Kamen Rider Zi-O and challenges Another Ghost, but Another Ghost escapes. Takeru and Narita, who appear there shouting "Kamen Rider!" restrain Sogo with a rope. They take him to the Tenkuuji Temple.

In the Tenkuuji Temple, Takeru, Narita and Shibuya reveal that they're investigating cases where people are attacked by Another Ghost as the "Mysterious Phenomena Research Institute". According to Takeru and others, it seems like someone calling themselves a "Kamen Rider" appeared in the locations where they attempted to catch Another Ghost. They thought that Zi-O was that "Kamen Rider" and Another Ghost's underling.

It's a story that begins from a misunderstanding. When Another Ghost is created, Takeru loses his memories of "Kamen Rider" and misunderstands the situation. However, that Kamen Rider isn't Zi-O. So, who is it? What's their connection to Another Ghost?

And furthermore, how does Makoto become involved with Takeru and the others in episode 14? One wonders if it might suggest the revival of Kamen Riders Ghost and Specter.

That's an official summary hyping the episodes. There's no reason to throw that bit at the end unless it's actually going to happen.

Some are toy only. But a lot will be in the show. Toys sell better when they're used in show. Final forms in particular might be in show though. Other wider forms are hit or miss. Tajador is considered the main 'final' form for OOOs. Plus it has other BTS nods and inputs that make it and certain other elements of OOOs standout more for drawing on in Zi-O.

New weapons, it's a 20th series celebration. Reusing old weapons is too cheap. Though some exceptions are in play like Faiz, and maybe Ryuki, possibly Kabuto and Hibiki is a question in that regard too. Depends on the nature of the show itself and how the show worked. Like for Ryuki since the weapons are contract beast things, they may not have as much room to change stuff(though a Ryuki Time Maijn enhancement could be really interesting if one is made!). Same as for Faiz, the weapons are very suit integrated, with really only the faiz phone itself able to be redesigned(plus it's a sub-joke about accessory compatibility with technology, as technology and how it impacts society was a heavy theme of inspiration for faiz itself). For Hibiki it's a question because some of the early episodes focused on him making a new drum stick itself, as well as his emphasis on training and practice.

Zi-O follows a sub-theme practice kind of like how myths are retold. A thousand years later, by word of mouth, how would things evolve, and what stands out. Not quite to that full degree, but to give you a rough estimate of how much thought goes into each for how the designs are integrated and evolve by nature of their inherent show themes and concepts from all levels.

Right in time for Christmas seems likely. Expecting a lot of cool stuff to follow as we go into Q3 later. :D
