Dang, guess that leak we saw awhile back claiming to have Ninja Storm Yellow and SPD Green likely isn't true then. Atleast if SPD Pink does happen it brings me one step closer to having Green.

Two releases of Goldar; two releases of Psycho Blue; two releases of Psycho Red; two releases of Lost Galaxy Red. Makes sense. Not like Sentai costumes don't allow for a bunch of repaints anyway.

I mean the 2 releases cant be called repaints though, since they're the same figure. Just one release is a more exclusive release than the other. However, Dino thunder blue and zeo green are repaints of the zeo and dino thunder base bodies with new heads, if thats what you were saying, considering most sentai series use one suit with color swaps for a team.

I do hope we get to Ninja storm soon. And maybe that wave leak wasn't fake with the ninja storm yellow and overdrive silver. When the wave with standard mmpr black and zeo red was leaked, they leaked mmpr green, which was the the following wave, too early. So maybe the Ninja storm and overdrive leak was for the wave following this one, and was also leaked early. Hopefully, its true, cause im really excited for Tyzonn and Dustin.

But more than anything, i hope we get gao silver and zen aku soon. Zen aku hasn't seen a fig since the wildforce toyline. And his suit is too good to not make more product of.

Now I'm not a Power Rangers fan (I'm on the Super Sentai bandwagon) but I'm surprised they're releasing another Lost Galaxy Red. Was the first one too hard to get now or something? (I mean it WAS a 2-pack.) Or is there some lore thing I'm missing? Like, another person took on the mantle of Lost Galaxy Red (it did happen to Zeo Gold.)?

Nope, same person was Red all throughout. It's just rereleasing figures that they're probably realising shouldn't have been exclusive to begin with.

Its far nicer than what they did for psycho fans collecting with the line. New collectors get a whole boxset, however qc ridden it was, and now an lg red if they don't want another psycho red. While people following the line from the get-go have a set 3 psychos short of a team, and 2 extra psychos if they bought the boxset on top of the exclusive releases. So thats just great, unless we see the other 3 psychos released as a set for those who already had red and blue.

I'd get a good giggle if the single pack release of Galaxy Red came with Mike as his unhelemetted head instead of Leo.

Not really Lightning Collection specific, but has anyone else had problems with Hasbro's customer help website. I forgot my password, so went to their thing, typed in my username, and never got an email to reset it. Is this a common problem?

Goldar was a Gamestop exclusive which as people outside North America have told me was hard to get. So it makes sense it saw a wider release.

LG Red was in a two pack not everyone wanted to buy. Makes sense that if they are pushing a LG wave in 2021 they'd have red be a wide release.

Psycho Red/Blue was tacky just because you had to pay for them again to get the three remaining figures.

They will most likely rerelease SPD Blue and Space Red in solo packages in the next two years.

I think Hasbro is still trying to play by the ML rules where people people buy single figures and some want the team as opposed to people want the team and a few just want single figures.

I think the one that still shocks me the most is DT White. Like, very easily one of the most popular rangers post-Zordon Era; and from one of the most popular seasons post-Zordon Era to boot. And a 'sixth' ranger, and from a team that has very very few bases to cover to begin with, and the design is constantly cited as one of the coolest in the franchise...

And THAT'S what you think needs to be an exclusive instead of in a normal wave??

Have you tried contacting them using the form you fill out before doing the live chat? If you can't log-in, just use the form for live chat to fill in your info and talk to them. They remember the claim you put in if you use the same info on the form every time. I never made a hasbro account and used that form to get onto live chat and request my dino white head, took like 5 min to post my claim.

I'll give that a shot, it's worth a try.

Hasbro has made some fairly boneheaded decisions when it comes to exclusives in general this year. Like ER Soundwave and Bumblebee being exclusive to Wal-Mart.

Fortunately, Dino Thunder White wasn't difficult at all to find for me.

That's an absolute must-have for me.

Thats not new nor lightning collection. Its a chinese soc-esque figure that does not split apart, though is designed to be pretty poseable. Its based on an artists reinterpretation of the thunder megazord. It was on the main page news a couple months ago and sighted for the first time at a Chinese trade show. It is licensed by Hasbro.

I wish we would get combining mecha in the lightning collection already, rather than these licensed out figures, or the less than stellar, bare-plastic, zeo Megazord figure.

I am a bit surprised they wouldn't wait longer on LG Red to do a single release. Give us Green or Blue.



I feel that it would be odd if they give us all the Psychos on a single release, at least any time soon. I feel the boxet was their way to get them out fast but it's somewhat annoying. Just going to make my extras Silver and Gold or maybe Orange.

Atleast Zeo Green has his axes? This really does make you question what they plan to do about Zeo Blue's' tonfas though, if anything.

I'm kinda stunned they haven't done the same thing as they did with Abarekiller honestly -- just send out the parts. Seems the most sensible way to go about it, and they get good PR to boot.

It's so weird how hit and miss the unhelmetted heads really are. Yet another reason I really would've preferred we went without them and got other accessories instead.

They absolutely nailed Yong Bosch at least; this is easily the best headsculpt so far.

I definitely would have liked to see them dropped in favour of more hands or weapons.

I've gotta say that Adam's unhelmeted head looks really, really good. Ethan's isn't looking too bad either.


But they definitely dropped the ball on Syd's. Still, that brings us within just 2 more characters needed for a complete core SPD team.

Yeah, Adam coming with his axes just makes Zeo Blue more and more questionable.

Also hope Ethan comes with the shield. Hard to tell thanks to no other pics and the box shot angle.

This is the first Wave I may end up going all in on. A nice diverse set of Rangers, Ethan has his shield which was like my concern, I'm always a fan of Adam and more SPD is great for me.

Even though I have Leo... but like, Quasar Launcher... it's too tempting!

... I was so ready to take the bazooka as a great extra, but looking through the product shots it seems to come with gingared INSTEAD of the sword. The extended sword is nowhere to be seen in any product shot and it's not in the box image either.

Disappointed that the Zeo figures still don't have the collapsed sword. However, at least they have their special weapons. Hope they somehow manage to give us Zeo Blue's tonfas without us having to buy the whole figure again.

Yeah, kinda bummed me out too. I understand why they’ve done it but the Lost Galaxy Rangers without a proper Quasar Saber just doesn’t seem right to me. Also I wanted to be able to sell my LG/Psycho Red 2-pack so I can finally be rid of that extra Psycho Red :lol

I just... I just don't get it. The bazooka is an awesome new thing to do especially as LC hasn't really done anything like it before, but you get very limited poses out of it; and the full sword is both the iconic weapon of this team and easily the one you'd get most use out of. If you were to replace anything surely it'd be the dagger version?

Every time it feels like this line is taking a step forward - this wave being entirely 'team fillers', all the others coming with their important accessories including large shields, rereleases of figures that should never have been 2-packed to begin with, making interesting new accessories beyond what's necessary - they have to do something dumb to compensate.

That's Hasbro in a nutshell for you.

Unfortunately LC is likely to get hit by it extra hard since they outright said awhile back that PR was one of their lower priority lines.

Atleast they do still seem to be taking criticisms into account overall. So hopefully we'll be on more of an upward slope like how their Star Wars line has been in recent times.

It looks like leaks have already locked in SPD Green and LG Blue for Wave 9. Also very likely Zeo Yellow though not completely 100% known.
