That?s their point - that the only Rider with a ?twofer? base form is Geats, and that the others will just use one by default.

Keep in mind there's also that rumor/leak of an early power up buckle "Fever" that supposedly copies whatever buckle it's paired with: i.e Magnum + "Fever" = both halves being Magnum.

There are a lot of blank sounds in the Driver, so if Fever is real and has its own sounds programmed in, that could easily explain it.

Boost is a limited-use item though, which means everytime Geats uses and loses it, he has to go out in to the field in the next round to find a new one and there's no guarantee somebody else won't just pick it up instead. It's like how Deadheat works for Drive and Mach.

My other counterpoint is that even though pairing other signature Raise Buckles doesn't give unique sounds, they can still be paired. The DGP is a competitive and prestigious scene, so I think the Riders will be willing to use any Buckles they can find as long as they get stronger.

The first point is valid, since we see that Keiwa and Neon both managed to pick up Boost (though Keiwa ended up losing it to Ace).

So far it looks like the Desire Driver may be the only Henshin Belt this season? Certainly not seeing anything in the story or elsewhere that would call for any other belts. Kinda nice change of pace after all the Reiwa series having several per series.

Ex-Aid only had 3, and two of those were only used by a few people. Almost everyone just used the Gamer Driver. This seems to just be the next step after that.

That chain array definitely looks like its from Fourze. The claw not so much. Could be Wolf Halfbody or just entirely new.

Given that there are very few sounds programmed into the Desire Driver, and a new belt and/or henshin item in the second quarter has been a long-standing moneymaker for Bandai, we?re definitely getting something else around the new year, be it a new belt or something like the Mega Ulorder.

To be fair, not all the Raise Buckle weapons are an exact match with their icons. Hammer for instance is a repaint of Gridon's hammer, but the buckle looks like this:

It actually makes me wonder which came first, did the toy engineers make the Raise Buckles first and the props department found stuff they could paint over, or was the idea from the beginning to repaint props to lower the cost of producing the Show?

I'm trying to think of any good claws that'd work and the only thing I'm thinking of is the Claw Module from Fourze.

I'm sure we'll see soon enough though. Chain Array has to be the Chain Array Module though since I can't think of any other ball and chain weapons in Rider.

Yeah, the only other claws I can think of aside from the Wolf Halfbody ShishiLeo mentioned are...

OOO's claws but those are integral to the suit, although there's the OOO Armor's claws from Zi-O.

And like... Naki's claws, but those have 4 blades rather than 3.

Although now that I think about it, Toei could also potentially repaint a MotW's weapons too.

Y’know, I kinda wonder what’s gonna happen with Tycoon later on in the series. He’s the secondary rider yet according to the toy leaks, his ID core is supposed be a campaign only item, but he also shares an upgrade with Geats later on? (Who knows, maybe this leak was incorrect but everything was right so far). My guess is he’ll probably ditch the desire driver for whatever the Q2 belt is and for the most part not look back. I’m mostly basing this off of previous instances of this happening such as Zangetsu and Genm who’s main transformation items (Zangetsu faceplate, and proto mighty action x) were also campaign items, and in both instances they don’t use them very long before swapping to another belt. I guess a story justification for it could be that Tycoon leaks the DGP after seeing how messed up it is (since we know he’s recording diary entries of what’s happening) and is disqualified, but is able to continue fighting through the use of a new transformation device? Idk just spit ballin.

Maybe he’ll also die. He has… a bow.

Possible, but it would be the first time they?ve killed off the secondary rider before the end of the show. We know via leaks that he isn?t sticking with just a bow for long.

(kinda late to this but...) Unlikely at this point in time since we know from the leaks that he gets the ninja buckle pretty soon and he shares an upgrade with Geats toward the end of Q1. Could always happen towards the end tho.

It's cool how the handle looks like a kunai. I don't like the red eyes though, they make Tycoon look aggressive, which Keiwa generally isn't.

I think it's for color contrast. The shade of red for his eyes using Ninja reminds me of Sigurd.
