Yay! My Bujin Gaim shipped last night. I'm strangely excited for that figure, despite being generally meh about the character.

They got a Femme & Bujin Gaim in this morning too. Hopefully NY starts processing orders with the November TWE releases soon then.

Same here. I was hoping it'd ship a day or so earlier so I could get it before the holiday, but oh well. Now I have something to look forward to while watching football and Christmas shopping online.

Yeah, I'm just a tad frustrated with N-Y at the moment. Femme and Side Machine I know for a fact are out and there have been no updates on their end. I haven't seen Wing Form anywhere yet, though.

I know a Wing Form popped up briefly on Mandarake last week, so that's out too. Not Figuarts, but I've yet to see Ultra-Act King and SIC Burakawani yet, and at least King should be out by now as well.

I'm hoping I get the processing order email (at least) for Femme/King/Burakawani today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed, anyways.

Bleargh. It's a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things and I have had them receive stuff later than other retailers before, but it's still a bit frustrating.

Has anyone not received their payment request for Kiwami from HLJ? They were in stock on friday so I ordered an extra one but never got a payment request for it.

I got both a SHF Side Machine & Ultra-Act Ultraman King on Mandy this week. I saw Den-O Wing Form this morning, but I don't collect Den-O. Thought about grabbing it.. sold out in a snap. I don't think they've had any Zwarth Musy, Crossbones X-1 options parts, or SIC Burakawani yet. :/

I'm pretty stoked about the Side Machine though, as that puts me 5/5 on Kikaider. Between owning and preorders.

Titanium Ranger would be a mostly simple design to do. I think you could try using the action hero Titanium Ranger for parts, or the Super Legends.

Damn, now I want Femme now! I'll likely get her from IA for the usual absorbitant import price, but if she's any better than the Figma, it'll be worth it to be the first to have her & post pics here....considering I can make that happen.

I own Siren and while she's not "bad", she just really doesn't compare to the Figuarts I own. She always feels like she's one wrong arm twist from breaking.


And speaking of Femme, just got the shipping notification! Should have her and Kiwami by next week :D

Well put me on the list of people who got a lemon out of Kiwami Arms. Mine has arrived and like a decent number of people, the chest is screwed up. Under the clear breast plate there's the fruit portrait. It's just one big label under there of course. And a very poorly applied one, especially on mine. Which has giant creases in it from where it was applied unevenly before the clear piece was attached. Mine was folded up under itself and is now that way permanently. Creases all over the place.

The black paint apps on the shins have bled all over the shins and there's several instances of the black being entirely missing on the leg trim. The silver on most of my figure is applied very inconsistently, especially just above the clear breast plate. This silver area has been noticeably scuffed before leaving the factory. The arms likewise have incredibly inconsistent black trim. For a figure that primarily is painted in two damn colors, they didn't put much of either on there well.

Very very disappointed in the quality of Kiwami, and that there's no closed Kiwami Key/Lock included. It just seems odd that every other Gaim release has an open lock on their belt and a closed one included in box. But the Kiwami Key isn't removable from his belt as far as I can tell, I feel like I'm going to break it, and they didn't include an alternate opened one.

After all the home runs they've delivered with the Gaim SHFs, it's just upsetting to hear all this about Kiwami. What a way to send off the retail releases.

The funny thing is I expected them to ruin Kachidoki and deliver with Kiwami, they did the exact opposite. Mine isn’t here yet, but even if it is acceptable, that doesn’t mean the overall release was good. Because from what I hear, it wasn’t.

As it stands, if you need only one Super-Gaim, go for Kachidoki.

Not looking forward to my Kiwami now. :( Just paid for it yesterday (at 3200 yen shipping yikes... How big of a box do they need for just a single SHF and Play Arts??) and should be in my hands next week. But all I'm seeing is reeeeally not giving me hopes.

And of course the likelihood of getting replacements is super low... Damnit Bluefin why couldn't you have gotten these guys...

Ugh I hope my Kiwami doesn't suffer from these QC issues because, quite frankly, it's ridiculous how much Bandai charges for these figures to be this awful.

My Kiwami is messed up too. Cracked chest plate. Trying my luck with an exchange or compensation before opening it.

Actually, my Kachidoki happens to be just as bad. The wrists fall off way too easily, like the socket is too small. Any way to fix that?

I doubt all of the Kiwami figuarts have QC issues. Maybe they will do some type of reissue and fix it.

Ok I just opened my Kiwami Arms figure and I must say, other than the dissatisfying crack, it is GORGEOUS. Bandai silver never fails to disappoint. The joints are the right tightness, and the cape is surprisingly easy to apply. I prefer this Figuarts representation of Gaim's ultimate form over Kachidoki any day, because the latter has such terrible wrist joints and is much more difficult to handle.

Meanwhile, Amiami is looking at the screenshot of my figure and deciding if it is worth excellent customer service...

Hopefully they don't tell you what they told me when I got a defective Hibiki.

Which is utter bullshit. You're a retailer selling a defective product. You owe it to the customer in my opinion. So I know they won't do a damn thing for me with my Kiwami since selling stuff cheap apparently means you aren't responsible for defects.

Amiami needs a new competitor with the same price range. They could use a wake up call; cheap products should never be an excuse for poor service.

I need to double check my Kiwami when I get back home. I didn't inspect the sticker all that closely, I was just looking for cracks. On another frustrating note, my Femme and Wing Form still haven't shipped. I have much sadness. :(

Problem there is AmiAmi English hasn't been doing Sailor Moon figuarts at all.

Got my Kiwami today and it seems I got lucky. No crack or defect on the chest, only a small bump that gets visible once you hold him against the light in a certain angle. Other than that, he's perfect. Tight joints, good motion, cape applies nicely. I think the biggest problem I have right now is where to fit him in my cabinet.

The only real nitpick I have is that the lockseeds on his belt don’t come of separately and don’t have black paint (numbers) on them.

Unfortunetly those are the only two Figuarts I can think of that has that peral white on them.

If only you knew someone who'd be willing to buy in on the others... Shinken Blue, for example.
