Yeah, Momotaros is awesome.
Perhaps you'll consider the Kiwami Tamashii of Momotaros? It's smaller, but cheaper... http://i.imgur.com/UqlSmVj.jpg Size comparison between full size SIC and KT. |
The idea of a pocket-sized "Momo" is enticing...
but I can't find it either. :cry Also because I have cat eyes I notice that Cyclone Joker is actually CycloneCyclone and JokerJoker and has an opposite abdomen and two cyclone memories. Also, Yuuto and Deneb, I love 'em already. Been with them not even half an episode and they're hysterical. |

I hope they stay funny. Just the whole idea of them I've seen is great, like tehy're sort of like brothers, sort of like friends, and Deneb is like a caretaker holding onto the money so Yuuto doesn't spend it all. That's just fucking funny.
My favourite secondary riders are ones that shake up the stereotype I see with Gills and Accel and Brotou. |

Anyway, Yuuto and Deneb are a fun pair. It plays the antagonistic secondary rider straight, but does deviate by having them not just painfully straight faced and dull. They did lose their thunder during the latter half, but you might still enjoy them. |
Yuuto is hands down one of the best secondary riders out there. And Deneb is one of the best supporting characters I've seen in recent years. Those 2 are a major reason why I love that show so much. The tragedy of Yuuto's backstory and the hilarity of his antics with Deneb just make for an awesome mix.

I love how Deneb hands out candy all the time and the other Imagin just take it, no question. When he, Kintaros and RedGuytaros were just chilling in the backroom on the floor eating candy I actually laughed out loud. One thing I like about Den-O, and W and OOO, was that the humour isn't super campy cartoon antics. It's just humour. Yeah there is antics, but just stuff like them sitting and eating candy cracks me up.

I just finished Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Space, Here We Come! Just in case, here's a SPOILER-WARNING! I don't know what the consensus is with this movie, but out of the few Kamen Rider movies I've seen so far, this is by far my favorite! I enjoyed every second of it, more than I can say for some of Toei's Toku movies. The fight scenes were AMAZING! I think the coolest one has to be that insane battle with all 12 Horoscopes and how every single friggin' switch or move that both Riders have ever used in battle was put to use here. That required some creative thinking and complex choreography, but it resulted in possibly the coolest fight scene in Kamen Rider I've seen yet. The rest of the movie isn't a slouch in the fight department either, with some really cool battles, especially with the Space Ironmen. Speaking of the Space Ironmen, I know nothing about them, but they made really cool characters. Malicious and evil, yet so cool-looking, they were fun to watch. Again, Fourze underscores its main theme of friendship and I loved seeing how all of Gentarou's old friends contributed to helping him win the day. I'm not sure if that's all the Zodiarts in the show's run (their faces were all quite familiar), but it really underscored how important the initially naive-seeming attitude of Gentarou towards friendship is. Both in-universe and out, people thought, as I did, that he was just nuts and immature with his friendship ideals, but it is in this movie (and the show's magnificent finale) that his friendship paid off. It was a strong, emotional scene and really speaks to the heart of what the show is about. Sure there were tiny problems here and there, mostly in those of logic. For instance I didn't get how Gamou managed to produce 12 additional Horoscope switches. Even if he were able to clone them, how did he get Pisces when it hasn't been found in the show yet? Why did Gentarou not use the Fusion switch anymore after the movie? Minor quibbles, though, and overall nothing that can't be solved without a little creative headcanon. All in all, a most excellent film, which greatly surprised me as I never really expect much from these Kamen Rider/Super Sentai movies that Toei produces. It captured the tone, the excitement and the theme of the TV show in one EPIC package and reminded me why Fourze is my favorite Kamen Rider series. :) |
