I hope the Australian release is sometime this year, but since we often follow Europe's lead it might be next year.

A bit disappointing about not having a mainline game, but I can understand it. ORAS was released very late last year, so it is conceivable that the timing would allow a 2016 release for a new Pokemon game.

I hope that both games will be awesome. :)

I decided to take a break from Soul Silver and started a monotype Water run on Alpha Sapphire. I randomly drew from a hat what type I would use. I have to capture every single water type in the Hoenn Dex before I can beat the E4, I might just catch 2 Clampearl's since I won't be able to get Gorebyss and Huntail atm.

I'm heading up to face Team Aqua at Mt. Chimney right now.

So i watched the first trailer for Super Mystery dungeon. This game shows some promise. They're advertising it as the definitive PKMNMD experience as every single Pokemon is available in game.

Guess i'll pre order it the first chance i get. ...And start with Fennekin.

Just watched Pokemon the first movie uncut and fully subbed. I can say one thing mewtwo was out right better character in Japanese dub then in then4kids dub

The Hoopa distribution event in Japan has been announced. It'll start July 18 when Movie 18 (Hoopa & The Clash Of Ages) hits their theaters, and will run until September.

Of course, this means that we'll finally have official access to Hoopa!

So I've been playing the Gen 4 games recently (specifically Diamond & Pearl) and man I forgot how slow these games are. It's something you gotta get use to when playing these games (especially when you're so use to Gen 5 and 6 which are so much faster.)

After getting use to the slowness, I gotta say I'm having a blast with these games. I feel really immersed into the games, unlike say X and Y. I only have 2 badges at this point, but I've already synced a lot of time into them, from battling, catching Pokémon, Contests, and just exploring the Region.

I just like to pretend that Diamond and Pearl never existed. Platinum is the only Sinnoh game to me because it fixed all of DP's problems.

I actually felt DP was the best because it paced itself.
It made the events of the games feel significant because it built up it's adventure with a more proper story, rather than having a 2 hour text dump. *Looks to ORAS*

It's why I hold Gen 4 as my favorite generation. It was the first game since the originals that made me feel like I was on an adventure again :lol
(XY did achieve that, too, but it was over far too quickly)

Gen 4 is overall a pretty good gen in my book, i like the Pokemon, the lore was interesting and the region was cool.
The problems with Gen 4 are that the game is too slow in pretty much everything you do, thankfully Platinum fixed a lot of these issues.
Basically i don't like DP as games.

And if you don't get Fennekin, what will you do?
