Anyway, I want to train up a Greninja and name it Jiraiya after NinjaBlack from Kakuranger, but a friend I told this to earlier just reminded me of the Naruto character and now I'm conflicted... |

Has anyone built a team that was clearly terrible, but couldn't resist using them anyway? :lol
I just took a team consisting of Gigalith, Cradily, Magnezone, Greninja, Kabutops, and Omastar against a friend. His lead? Mega Lucario. I'm pretty sure you know how well that ended :lol |

I like Looker. I even got a Fedora. I needed a more...hard-boiled look.

And yeah. His Pokemon didn't last very long. :p Gigalith's Sturdy+Stealth Rocks means permanent annoyance. Magnezone's Sturdy+Thunder Wave's speed cut+Close Combat's defense/Sp. defense reduction means a Lucario that doesn't last long (He doesn't run Extremespeed, telling me he was relying on Lucario's very high speed and praying Thunder Wave's speed cut wouldn't make it slower than Magnezone). The rest of the battle was a typical battle, except one of our teams was not constructed well :lol Ultimately, I won because he underestimated his own Greninja (He didn't think his Greninja's Surf could take out my Kabutops while under heavy rain. I don't think he knew how utter crap Kabutops's Sp. defense is :lol) Ultimately, I figured using Gigalith's Stealth Rocks was the better investment than Earthquaking Mega Lucario. Chipping teams away is something I enjoy doing. Crippling rather than sweeping. I find it...Fun. |
