I think Kain wants a remake that with brand new animation and starts from DB with Kid Goku and ends with Goku leaving with Uub. The problem with that is that we seen the story a million times before. I rather see new ideas then retell the same story or rehash things that they where done before it.

I'm looking forward on what Toriyama comes with Super. I hope Tarble (Vegeta's brother) and Jaco show up in Super. Traveling through the 12 worlds mention by Beerus at the end of Battle of Gods sounds cool. It will be like DBZ's version of Decade :lol.

I don't know what I want from a new DB series.
I just hope it's good. And includes Broly.

Y'know, at this point I do feel kinda bad for GT

It keeps getting more and more irrelevant with each new series/movie...

Toei listed that "Direct sequel to Dragon Ball Z, the series will bring together all the characters and tell their adventures after Son Goku’s fierce battle against Majin Buu". So either the show will take place after the death of Freeza in Revival of F or take place after Goku leaves with Uub.

Uub needs a proper treatment since GT kinda ruin him for me since he did nothing but got his ass kick in that show. He almost beat Bebi Vegeta before he got turn into candy then he lost to Super 17 and Omega Shenron. It would be cool if Super gives Uub a major role with him being Goku's student.

I don't see how that was a bad thing when GT is dislike by most fans. I would rather have them new original and fresh stories then revisit GT again. GT was a big let down to me when I was a kid since I bough a bootleg copy of the show before it aired in the US back in 2002 and the show is still painful for me to watch now. GT had nothing going for it for me expect for the Shadow Dragons and SSj4. Everything else felt like rehashes of other old ideas from the past.

Yeah me too. Both Kami and Old Kai told us extensive usage of the Dragonballs would mess up time & space among other horrible things, but at the end there was no consequence and the Dragonballs weren't really important anymore. Which is kinda stupid if you remember the title of the freakin story. That's why I like GT's idea so much. Sure, the execution could've been a lot better, but I really like the idea of the Shadowdragons being incarnations of the tainted Dragonballs, and each one takes on the embodiment of the one wish that tainted the Dragonball they spawned from.

I hope the new show has a different take on this, as well as a focus on new or underrepresented characters. I would like to see stories out of Oob's time during training with Goku and the adventures he experiences, much like Goku's story when he was training under Muten Roshi,

I like the idea of over using the Dragon Balls giving birth to evil dragons but I wish it was done better. The other dragons felt like that they where just throw in their without any proper development and just to be killed off by Goku. Omega Shenron is our final villain of the show and gets no character development or build up to his appearance compare to Freeza, Cell and Buu. I like the fire and ice shadow dragons (their names escapes me at the moment), but everyone was just meh at best.

No, that is NOT Kai. Why does everyone keep thinking that?

Kai did not include Goku as a kid, meeting Bulma, Roshi, Yamucha, etc for the first time, fighting Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army, Piccolo Daimaou, entering in the tournaments, etc.

Also, Kai still had Bulma and Ginyu switching bodies. It still featured Gregory the Grasshopper.

Kai's music was jacked up due to the criminal.

The Freeza/Goku battle was still dragged out for way too many episodes.

Boo still retains half of its filler, has been cropped into 16x9, and has a green tint over the video.

Also, in the Jp version, voices no longer match every character. Some were changed and some just don't sound like that character anymore.

What I want is something that is all 519 chapters of the manga in new animation with no filler, no stretched out fights, no changing of the music midway through and having old music randomly thrown in, voices that stay consistent, etc. For example, the Goku/Freeza fight is only 19 chapters, so it should only be 2-3 episodes at the max. Boo is only 99 chapters, so it shouldn't be more than 40 episodes long, if that.

I just don't see what more they can add to this series that DB hasn't already done as there are just way too many forms and power levels. I guess if anything, I want to see the multiverse Beers talked about at the end of BoG.

I really am excited to see this new show.
