They're still technically rangers. The mecha-inspired forms are their "ranger" forms. It's very different from the norm but still fits that spot.

The official Twitter is running a campaign. I personally voted K.K, because rumours suggest the guy who played Sayo’s boyfriend Kusaka in an episode of Kiramai will be playing the role and those are his initials.

It also happens to be the initials of Kazlaser's(the comedian who will be hosting the reveal) real name as well apparently. Would be hilarious if he went, "And the new Zenkaiser actor is...*throws away envelope*IT IS I!".:lolol
I knew of the guy but did not know he is a hardcore sentai geek like Shoko Nakagawa.

The photo or photos associated with the press conference reveal something important within the group shots: individual weapons (which is something I missed if it was already obvious at this point)!

Can't be certain exactly what's what cause of the vantage point (or lack thereof).

Usually happens with female rider / sentai heroine where avtor guest star one episode in a year or two before they're cast in a lead role. Recently, not so much for a lead actor especially anniversary series. We gotten gals from ghost/zio ghost as pink as well as another fourze as kiramei blue. Who knows? With covid, i don't think they can get guests . I think it'll Au decade like where actors may lend voice in suit or they just pay homage subtly like boukenger. I imagined the movie if there's going to be one this spring or summer would be big with the guests like gokaiger returning.

Why does pink have a club? Everyone else's weapons make sense.

I think it's supposed to be a scepter/magic wand, and magic spells and whatnot shoot from the "crystal ball" at the tip. Which would make sense given her character description. Still, that image makes it very hard to see what's really going on with it.

I think it's the fact that the weapon is monochrome. If the orb was a different color from the rest of the staff, that'd be clearer, at least as a magic weapon.
