Watching the anime preview and Serena already reminds me of Dawn and May. She's probably going to have a similar personality.

At least Iris is finally gone. Why the writers tried to make a worse version of Misty is beyond me. Did anyone actually like Iris? She seems to be almost wildly agreed to be the shows worst female protagonist.

My question is: Will we ever see a dub of this special?

Maybe it's partially because I have a half finished copy of white 2 on my desk, or maybe it's just a sign of growing up, but I'm really struggling to get excited for the new pokemon game.

The new aspects to the game aren't really something to be excited for in 2013, even from a handheld title and although some of the new pokemon really do look great, most have failed to catch my interest and I've yet to see one Mega Evolution I really care for that much.

I guess part of me just misses the days when Pokemon Blue was the most exciting and engaging thing on the planet aside from Power Rangers.

Most likely due to its Pokemon and green will be called blue in the dub even though he ment to be called red

It's possible you've grown a bit out of it. No harm done, it comes and goes so don't force it. If you do decide to play try not to aim for a wow factor and just enjoy it as a good game.

I just randomly thought of something, you know how apparently in the anime Serena knows Ash when they were little? What if she's one of the trainers who took the starters before Ash could get there? That would be a cool way to advertise the Kanto starters in the show.

Then again they could always advertise the starters by having Charizard and co. helping Ash more often in this season.

Rumor has it the Fairy-type now extends to Chansey, Togepi, Clefairy and Dunsparce.

All very logical choices for the type.

I do have plans to at least finish White 2 first, but the game is such a grind fest. Every time I go to a new town, I'm like ten levels behind, and without regular new Pokémon, I find it a drag to keep playing catch up.

Get some repels, walk around in the grass and run into any grass that shakes. Odds are that'll be an Audino (they're on practically every route) which are really easy to defeat and give off massive amounts of exp. Once you get the Lucky Egg (which increases exp gained) in the game give that to a Pokemon to hold and do the same.

Gen 5 makes it really easy to get through the grinding once you know how.

It's funny that grinding his become so much more necessary, there are now tricks to make grinding easier, you think they'd just cut out the need all together.

I haven't played it since early gen 4.

...The wait for X and Y is killing me.

I found Gen 5 to be too easy, so I vehemently refused to grind. Just fighting the trainers the game lines up between towns was usually enough to level my team.

I used to, but it's hour long time limit and 24 hour wait between uses got to be too annoying since it kept crashing. So my hour usually dwindled down to about 20 minutes with it's constant freezing and crashing and I decided to stop using it.
