Yeah; DC just seems to have given up on doing ANYTHING good since the MCU came into power. I'm not upset about the design but nothing in this movie says to me "watch me!"

I hope you didn't snap at anyone over the Joker design Den-O. People on the internet tend to have a group mentality whenever someone challenges their worldview, as I found out the hard way a few days back. I am not fond of this Joker and I'm pretty sure I never will, but I don't see myself flying off into a rage over it.

It's OK to not like something. It's not OK to attack everyone because of one design over a 75+ year old character.

This joker redesign looks like shit.
Like, even a manure pile would say "wow... that's a lot if shit"

Like, I'm okay with giving characters like the Joker redesigns, i.e. The Batman's joker redesign (which I still find fantastic) but if you're gonna redesign characters, put some effort into making them look good.

Something I just find irritating is the tattoos. Joker is insane and impulsive. Having tattoos made like those takes alot of time and patience. Patience the Joker wouldnt normally have.

To be fair, the Joker has had plans that required months or weeks or preparation before hand (no matter what shit Nolan Joker says about "not having a plan"), so it's within the realm of the believable that he could wait a while for a few of those tattoos. He'd likely just kill the guy who gave them to him afterwards.

I still fine them a weird addition to him regardless, but Young Justice Joker still annoys me more. I'll wait to hear him in a trailer to see how he acts, rather than just how he looks.

Well I was mever a fan of the "scheming" type of Joker. It just doesnt fit the idea of the character which is why I resist that idea.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of Young Justice Joker either. Brent Spiner didn't fit the character at all.

I can see the Zsaz comparisons. Funny enough I would be more okay with the tattoos if they were scars the Joker gave himself during a wild outburst. Something that would make him even more look like a pale Zsaz :lol

I think the Damaged on his forehead takes the cake though.

It's a bizarre look for sure, then again I wasn't into the Joker being in the suicide squad film to begin with, so if the look and other departures the character will have work for the movie, I'm okay with it.

It does feel that way. :lol

Eh.... this Joker looks like something out of a trippy Panic at the Disco music video.

The thing that freaks me out about the design is the metal teeth. Just creepy. But then I watched a video brought up the metal teeth could come from replacement from Batman knocking out Joker's real teeth over the years.

I'm going to reserve more judgement on this design until we see him a suit, so maybe he'll look better in that.

If they actually decide to have him WEAR a suit in the first place.

Why is it so hard to have the comic book design of The Joker return on screen. Something similar to Batman '89 would have been nice for me.

Thank you Guyver!! I would love to see an actual deformed Joker, not someone with scars! (The Gods let Heath Ledger rest in peace.) But I'm tired of these new renditions that aren't deformed.

Because the point of the DC cinematic universe is to give us generic de-saturated joyless incarnations of the DC characters.

Honestly, their library is full of such rich characters that they could have a different genre and style of film for each one.

Are they doing CD-covers on purpose now? First Marilyn „Joker“ Manson, now „No Doubt and the Halloween's“.

Looks bad. Katana works because of the mask and I can somehow see Will Smith pulling a decent Deadshot, but the rest? Meh.

Killer Croc especially, what the hell? He looks like a mix between the Thing from the Fantastic Four and a bug. Why not use some better makeup or CGI to create something like the look from Arkham Origins?

Looks like a pretty decent cosplay group.

Harley looks terrible a d Killer Croc look like the Goombas from the Super Mario movie.

Apparently it's the same make-up artist who worked on the first Fox FF films. I'm perplexed as to why they cast such a short guy as Croc in the first place.

Still can't get over Will Smith being deadshot. I see the cool armor and rifle and then I see the head and I go "Oh, its Will Smith."

This. This exactly. In fact I thought it was a cosplay group until I checked the source of the image.

Pretty pathetic that WB/DC continues to miss the mark so hard that it's difficult to tell what's a laughable cosplay or their serious attempt at a movie.

Very disappointed with the Suicide Squad's look. The one I believe is the most frustrating and disappointing of all is Enchantress (Cara Delevingne). Unlike the others (who at least in some or very little ways), she doesn't even resemble her comic counterpart.

It could be worse, they all could have just been wearing colorless outfits.

So I was able to finish the Endgame story arc for batman. I liked it and I am going to Synder's work on the Batman book. Has it ben announced who will replace him?

Who? Snyder or Batman? cos Snyder is still writing it if that's what you wanted to know. If you're talking about who's replacing Batman, they revealed who in Divergence on Free Comic Book Day

No, if you like the animated series, do not read that new comic. They said they are going to make it grittier and darker because there isn't enough of that currently going on in the DC universe.

In all seriousness though, my thoughts on SS are as follows:

My only problem with Harley is she needs some pants or a skirt. Running around in her underwear is doing nothing for me.

Hopefully the lady has the voice for the character though.

Still don't like Killer Croc at all. Too short and doesn't look like a lizard man. Just The Thing with tattoos.

Deadshot needs to have his mask on at all times so that I can forget it is WilL Smith playing him.

Have no idea what the hell is up with Enchantress but she doesn't even scream Enchantress.

The rest I don't care about. Boomerang looks nothing like I want him to look, but I'll get over it. Katana is fine though, but the rest I don't give a crap about.

Ok I been facebook group comic page site comment section I have hear people like Harley look some don't same goes with dead shot. For me Harley look like Harley and she wearing something she would wear also remember she meant to have other costume as well. I like will smith as long as he in film on his own he great put not films with him and his son in. All in all the test I'm picky on. Yea i might sound like a casual but that how I am looking at these film. I know the different look of character but I ant picky I'm picky on some like croc but the other I don't really care for cause I don't have an attachment to them.

It isn't focused on him. It's focused on Tim Drake.

The new Batman Beyond book picks up immediately after the events of Future's End and has nothing at all to do with the DCAU or the previous volumes of Batman Beyond DC has published. In Future's End Terry died and Tim Drake took over for him with the batsuit and traveled back to the Brother Eye controlled future that Terry had come from. The new book picks up there.

So no one who likes the real Batman Beyond should be rejoicing about this book right now. It's a very hollow version of that title.

I'm bummed about this too.

Whoever thought all these dark and gritter DC decisions were good needs to be fired. I'm fucking sick of seeing a comic company I loved growing up DIE because they can't do anything but be depressing and dark.

It looks like the Legends of Tomorrow cast will be making an appearance on the season finale of the Flash.
