Exactly. Hell most parents get the kid a smart phone for entertainment purposes. Why not take that money and just get the kid a 3DS and games for it? Heck at six, I had an old non working rotary phone to play with.

As technology becomes more perfected, it will become more available. Even to six year olds. Besides, I'd like to think that the provision of that smartguy to the child is an alternative to the multi-hundreds of dollars spent on toys and crap.

But yeah, 6 does seem just a liiiiiitle bit too young for a phone.
