Has Houdini been listed there yet?

Also think it's interesting that the Glasslasher comes with two seemingly unrelated Eyecons. And that there actually is a Necrom Eyecon after all. I can imagine unlike the GanGun Saber/Hand, this weapon will actually interact the the Eyecons themselves in some way. Like the Formula Cannon.

Also releasing in December is the Fighting Spirit Charged DX Sunglasslasher for 6480 yen, it will come with the Goemon and Ryoma Ghost Eyecons. Pull the trigger to activate the LED lights and attack sounds. It is compatible with every Ghost Eyecon.

Releasing in January for 5400 yen is the DX Megauloder and Necrom Eyecon set. It contains the transformation brace Megauloder and the Necrom Ghost Eyecon, they’ll allow the user to transform into Kamen Rider Necrom."

WAT. Why? Will normal versions be released too?

Sometimes silhouette colours don't match the form/Rider. Sometimes they do. Ghost has been pretty good about the silhouette colours matching the actual form though so it may be green after all. Gonna be a lot of green in Ghost if it is.

I think Grimm and Sanzo are just clear because that's just...how they are. In the show. And in general.

They are the last 2 Eyecons (they may even belong to Necrom?) so that may have something to do with it. I don't think they're just clear and glittery just for the toys.

And it's a good thing imo, there's already 3 other green Eyecons so Grimm could use to be a little different. Sanzo...doesn't have that much of a need for it, but eh.

What's interesting is the brace and slasher apparently can work with Eyecons, but Eyecons are...like. Fat. And sorta cube-ish in their proportions. Wonder how that works...

It just now occurred to me that Goemon and Robin are strangely similar. They're both "steal from the rich, give to the poor" thieves, right? Although I suppose there's a big difference; one being a ninja and the other a woodland archer.

I'm guessing since we haven't heard anything about a new weapon for Specter or anything Houdini may just be an individually released Eyecon. If so, I don't know why dai4 wouldn't list him along with all the other stuff...but at the same time, I have No Idea why dai4 even put up this stuff now in the first place. They haven't even listed all the first quarter stuff, not even Tutankhamen. So shrug, really.

Doesn't Robin come with the Condor Phone, Billy the Kid with the Bat Clock, Benkei with the Spider Lantern, Tutankhamen with the Cobra Mobile, and Houdini with the DX Machine Hoodie toy?

Based off these toy listings, it seems like the 99 days to get 15 Eyecons will only take up half of the show because they'll all be released by then meaning they'll be all found half way through.

No. The Eyecons are sold separately from the Ghost Gadgets. Still unsure about Houdini, though. I sure hope it doesn't come with the Machine Hoodie, though. I certainly don't need a random motorcycle without a Rider. I'm glad I didn't decide to collect the Drive line early on because Midnight Shadow coming with the DX Tridoron would have been infuriating to me.

This...this may be what that whole "Specter combines with the Machine Hoodie to use Houdini" thing is actually about. That may literally just mean that the MH comes with the Houdini Ghost and Ghost Eyecon. Ugh. I just disgusted myself a little.

Absolutely disgusting. As if bundling small cheap things with big expensive things wasn't bad enough, now they're doing it cross-toylines. Absolutely disgusting.

Ironic that Houdini of all Damashii would remain trapped, shackled to a bike, thanks to people at Bandai thinking it would be the most hilarious thing to cross DX toylines with each other....

...That is, if this is actually the case, which really is just nothing but rampant baseless speculation right now and a gross overreaction to nothing from me. But eh. Never needed a reason to freak out over nothing before...

But yeah I hope it's just an individually sold Eyecon.

The fact that the Ghost Gadgets are sold separately from their respective Eyecons gives me hope that they wont do something like Midnight Shadow again, but I guess we'll see.

On another note, the puns in this series are everywhere. I'm learning so much about Japanese wordplay from Ghost. Necrom's henshin device, the "Megauruouda" or Mega Loader can also be separated out into the sentence: "mega uruou da" which roughly translates to "moistened eyes" or "eye revitalization" pertaining to eye drops. They're really taking the eyeball motif to new levels here.

...I also just came to the realization that Omega Drive is also an eye pun. My god, they're inescapable.

Wizard did that thing too where you had to buy the DX WizarDragon to get the Dragorize Ring. It made more sense than what they did with Mignight Shadow but it was still pretty annoying.

What's the pun with Omega Drive? Toei loves their puns as much as I do lol.

It would make a lot of sense for it to come with its corresponding Ghost Gadgets, but ai guess that makes it easier for us to obtain. I doubt the Ghost Gadgets will have much sales then if there's no exclusive Eyecon included. Also, why does Goemon and Ryoma come with the Sunglasslasher and why is Boost sold separately?

Do you guys think that all those Eyecons with sounds in the Ghost Driver like, Shakespeare, Galileo, and da Vinci will be Necrom's Eyecons?

Omega can be split into "O mega" which as I understand can basically mean "Your eyes" or something rather.

Akari's not a good female lead to me so far. 15 Eyecons to me are just the beginning.

There are a lot of Eyecons out there! What if after Takeru does get his life back. When the Ganma finally reveal themselves to the world and attack, Akari's life gets taken next?

I'm hoping there will be some kind guy on eBay selling the Eyecons that come in roleplay sets for a reasonable price, like the Specter, Musashi, and Houdini Eyecons.

I don't mind having to buy the GanGun Saber and Hand, or the SunglaSlasher even, to get the Eyecons, personally. If they had stuck Houdini in some roleplay toy I wouldn't really have cared. My problem is just that they stuck a roleplay toy in a gimmick figure toy, which is just completely stupid. I can get some use out of the rp weapons and stuff, but I'm not collecting the GC stuff, and if I were going to get the Hoodie, I'd just wait for the figuarts version. I really wouldn't have a single thing to do with this thing at all if if I were to buy it.

Which I'm really considering not doing...don't really fancy the idea of having to wait until someone gets it and sells it on the aftermarket for ten bucks or something either. Just going for the SG for Houdini at least is looking really attractive right around now. On the other hand, I'm getting the DX of literally everything else, so the inconsistency may bother me more than anything else.

I sure hope I can make a deal with whoever is collecting the GC line, but doesn't want the Ghost Driver. Once Houdini comes around, I'm gonna need to find someone that'll buy the bike from me after I inevitably give in and order the DX set just for the Eyecon. :p

The Ghost Driver looks remarkably cooler with that silver paint job this reviewer gave it. It just looks much better in pretty much every way.

That's a fun theory, especially considering they just glossed over that part in the first episode. Now I'm gonna be sad if it doesn't happen. :lol

I just hope the Ghostriker, Captain Ghost, and Iguana are eventually explained at all in the long run.

I didn't comment on the newly revealed GC sets, but now I am: dang. These may be what actually get me into GC.

I really really like the Ryoma design from what we've seen, so if a figure is coming out at retail, well...I want it. Usually for gimmick figures and such I'd just wait for a figuarts, as I was planning to do with all these Ghost things.

But Ryoma is an alternate form for a second quarter upgrade...let's just say I'm not terribly optimistic about the chances of seeing him get a figuarts this decade. (unless, of course, they figure out how to make the ghost change gimmick work with the figuarts. Though if they do that'd just complicate the situation some more for me).

So yeah, I want a Ryoma, so I guess I'm buying Boost and that 2 parka pack. May get some mileage out of that Machine Hoodie after all...

I like how both of the Boost specific Eyecons, (Ryoma and Goemon maybe all three depending on what Himiko looks like) have long flowing jackets rather than traditional parkas.

Himiko's looks pretty long too. I hadn't noticed that, it's actually a pretty cool unifying element. Dunno if it's entirely intentional though, Beethoven is pretty long as well.

This packaging is really cool! The little semi-circular bit on top of the Eyecon is just really really neat. It's a fair bit more interesting look than previous DX releases have had. Really liking it

Looks like HLJ got another restock of GanGun Sabers, and right now they've got low stock. Unfortunately I assume that means they got more Drivers too and still haven't fulfilled my order. I'm gonna be the last one to get theirs, huh? :cry

They're gonna fight for some of these things, so Specter's gonna be kinda a dick. Though judging by the preview image, they're gonna team up from time to time.
