I've been lucky with the few Bring Arts I've purchased. The only one with a huge QC issue was my Erdrick, and they replaced him no problem.

But yeah, I do feel the $80 price tag is fair for some of them, but for others... yeahno.

Erdrick, for example, was worth it because he came with a ton of stuff.

The Nomura Iron Spider, however? 4 pairs of hands and the waldos are in no way worth $135. $70? A bit steep but sure. But not that, goodness...

It's based off a DS game from 2008 where dead people have to complete challenges for seven days to get a chance to come back to life or face being erased.

The original game was really good. It was ported to Switch in 2018. It was kind of an Isekai game before Isekai got really big, so I can see why its being brought back.

First of all, it's unbelievably thematically-appropriate to watch on July 4. It's a movie all about jettisoning tyrants in favor of more egalitarian ruling bodies, as well as being more rigorous in determining what traits are most useful in a republic.

Second, more importantly, it's so dialogue-light and action-heavy that the constant fireworks in my neighborhood (and correspondingly-triggered car alarms) don't dampen the experience. If anything, they enhance it?

Why not just reboot Jiraya at that point, then?
Ninjas are already cool, and we already had a Sentai space ninja with Hammy from Kyuranger.

No offense, but we already have too much reboots right now.

I ordered Rescue Task Force Go Go 5 (English translated title) on DVD this morning being the only series from Saban Era I set I was missing.

Now if somebody could take over after Hurri so we can get the Jetix Era on DVD. Maybe Mill Creak or somebody like that and not skip any thing as we skipped 5 Series to adapt Power Rangers. Hasbro adapted Go Busters as Beast Morphers which leaves the train series which is still skipped. Hasbro passed up 3 of them in favor of adapting Dino Fury in 2021 and 2022.

Saban Era II had skipped Go Busters to adapt Dino Charge and a second skip for the train series to adapt Ninja Steel.

Watched Day of the Doctor for the first time in years. Man it feels exactly like a Tokusatsu crossover. 11th doctor teaming up with 10th feels exactly like a current Rider/Sentai teaming up with previous heroes. And the usage of stock footage.

No wonder why so many toku fans are fans of Doctor Who, because it's literally a western toku, perhaps even more toku than Power Rangers actually are lol.

I'm 2 and the 2 part finale out from finishing Discovery Series II which will be Sunday for the last 2 of the year. I own it on DVD.

Looking forward to Series 3.

Also will be watching Star Trek Picard on DVD soon.

On another note I'll be watching Titans from DC Universe on July 14th. I did see a lot of Teen Titans on Boomarang.

Ordered up Go Go 5 on DVD (Later adapted as Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.)

For the rest of 2020 and 2021 I'll be watching Saban Era I on DVD through Time Ranger and the 2 Jetix shows up to Hurri.

In 2022 I resume with the source series adapted as Power Rangers Dino Thunder forward and then the pirate series forward on stream.

I still haven't watch Godzilla Netflix especially when the reviews say it's bad and worse of all very nihilistic.

Like I know it's written by Urobutcher, but the reception felt like Urobutcher was going through 'Tomino writing Ideon & Victory Gundam' phase.

I... suppose my issues with it could be boiled down to how out of left field the movie is next to the films before and after it. Completely changing Godzilla's origin into some kind of ghost mass.... really turned me off.

Go Go 5 ships in Wed or Thrsday on DVD. I did see Zyu (Beast) Ranger and the next one after it so watching the ninja series to finish the footage used for MMPR.

Currently watching Corner Gas from CTV in Canida if anybody has ever seen it. (DVD)

Once my Omega Ranger and Dino Thunder White LC arrives I'll post pictures and then take my leave for a while. Hopefully forever but who am I kidding it'll only be for a while.
