Why didn't it keep the Wool? It looks too much like a kangaroo and nothing like a sheep.

I don't like how it doesn't have any wool, either. It always bugged me. I don't see any "Sheep" in it's design without it.

It was just a weird trend for the evolution line to lose wool as it evolved.

I know it lost wool, but the problem is that, but by lacking the wool entirely, it makes Ampharos stick out too much. It just loses the distinction of being a sheep.

They also based Ampharos on a lighthouse and it could partially be based on some type of Dragon due to it's Japanese name and Mega Evolution. It not having wool doesn't ruin anything about it being a sheep since sheep can be sheared of their wool.

Heck it could just be a thing about it growing older and losing it's hair like most humans do.

Except sheep don't bald like that. Unless there are special occasions.
The entire line is based on light, and I'm sure they could've pulled off a design that made it not stand out from it's entire family. It's basically the black sheep but putting the light design first and ditching everything else in favor of it.

Except when you realize it's base speed sucks, so it's never going to outrun a Dragon to get that attack in the first place.

That's only if the dragons don't KO it first as many dragons have access to ground and steel type moves.

I would be excited for SMD if they weren't already teasing brand new main series games before SMD even comes out.

Eh. They can tease all they want. SMD comes out next month for Japan, and around December for us. I doubt we'll even have any new info on a new main title by that point.

Yes we most certainly will lol. We already have a new form for Zygarde and a new Pokemon teasing at new games and they can't leave those things unobtainable to people for very long. Those things being shown are already info on main games coming soon anyway, especially since Zygarde is involved in the next Mega Evolution Special this fall.

Even still, I find it unlikely that they'd just sneak a new game up on you. Unless they announce the game on release of Japan's SMD, I don't think we'll see it at a point that it'd interfere with SMD's schedule.

Why would there be an OR/AS 2? Remakes never get sequels.

Doing a pair of sequels once hardly qualifies as "like crazy".

That's because that's not all they've changed over time... The sequels of BW were just an example.

In regards to specifically sequels though, things haven't changed THAT much over time. Unless I'm forgetting some huge detail.

The third games have slowly built up over time to be more distinct, but BW2 were the only ones that completely threw the pattern. Well Platinum hit before HG/SS too I guess, but the DS years were kinda thrown by housing 2 gens as it was.

Have you ever disliked a Pokemon, but then had to use it for some random set of circumstances (No better options in game, Nuzlocke, randomizer, etc) and then come to really like it?

Lunatone. I did a Sapphire nuzlocke once and it got me really far.

I started with Platinum never repeating a Pokemon when playing a game for more or less a reason like that.

I've come to like Spiritomb, though I never hated it per se. Most Pokemon I dislike are because they are popular and I'm a hipster who doesn't want to give them the time of day in favors of unloved stuff with shit stats/typing/movepools.

I want items that invert the Attack stats and Defense stats. Imaging it, Dodrio can run Tri-Attack once more!
