FYI, per their front page, Nippon Yasan will be closed from the 27th through 4 January.

(Just says any orders & tickets submitted during that time will be handled on the 5th; doesn't specify anything about any preorders that come in stock during that time but I would assume same for those too?)

That's the way things went last year, as I recall. They are completely closed during the break. Likely mean a delay on getting their pre-orders up.

So likely no Duke until after?

That would be my guess, but I have an incredible penchant for being wrong.

$17 is a little expensive for some parts to an SHF. There isn't even a body or any joints. If it was like $5, I would snatch it up pretty quick, but not for $17.

Anyone here have any of the Digimon D-Arts/Figuarts? I'm hoping to get some opinions on them before I consider collecting them.

Baron's elbow guards scare me to death and they will spend their entire lives forever in that box.

We have D-Arts/Figuarts thread for non toku. I have Omnimon and Imperialdramon, both are great. I would buy Imperialdramon if I were you since he is a web exclusive and won't be reissue in the near future. The nostalgia of the first two seasons will have more people try to buy him once he goes up in the after market.

Damn....guess that means I'll have to snatch him up when I get a good check next. Man I'm so behind.

Holy crap! I pre-ordered G-Stag/Reddle and the Riderman/Bike set and the option for FedEx priority shipping for them would have been ¥12,346! Their shipping is getting CRAZY!

Edit: The "them" in this situation is N-Y.

N-y has to be skimming off the shipping or something, they seem to charge double what everyone else does for ems. I paid 3600 for shipping on duke and pine/mango when hlj only charges 1600 for 3-4 figuarts. I remember paying 3600 for my baron/orange from them too.

will there be any problems if I use super glue for Baron's elbow guards?

I'm sure a chunk of it is N-Y's handling charges and they should get something for the time and materials used, but I think they've gone off the deep end. Before they split their FedEx shipping, the 2-3 rate was much more reasonable.

Nope, shouldn't at all. The connections are exactly the same as a lot of Riders' knee pads, so it should work. One infamous one for loose pads is OOO Putotyra, and a tiny dab of super glue fixed those for me just fine.

Any alternatives to NY for G-Stag/Reddle? Those shipping prices are nuts >.>

I got $100 today from my dad for Christmas Eve and I went ahead to pre-order (and payed it off) G-Stag & Reddle. Marry Christmas to me :).

I take my hat off to you guys.

Plugged my G-Stag/Reddie two-pack preorder in with my other order for Juspion and Yulian. EMS for the three is 4700, which I can work with.

My Duke shipped today.

Kinda hoping for some holiday delays so it doesn't arrive until after or immediately before I get back from vacation heh.

AmiAmi has ZO and everything else that was pending in this month's order in...except the Figma Motoko that's been delayed until next month. Here's hoping I get a payment request tonight or the wee hours of the morning rather than, say, the 31st or 1st if they drag their feet on removing Motoko.

(Though honestly, getting it a week later won't be such a bad thing, given my PoL from BBTS is showing up either tomorrow or Monday and I still have Christmas stuff to get through.)

No Duke shipment notice for me yet...it'd be nice if they get SIC Leangle Jack right before they shut down, but I'm not getting my hopes up right now.
