After a year or so of owning it, I finally successfully popped in one of Knight Survive's cape pieces into his back a couple nights ago! Maybe in another year I'll have successfully popped in the other piece.

They really aren't that hard to put it. Just use some force and push them in until you hear a click noise.

So I think I'm hooked on the Ryuki Figuarts. I think next I'll go after either Ryuki himself, Zolda, Ouja, or Alternative Zero.

Is there a notable difference between Alternative and Alternative Zero, apart from Alternative being impossible to find?

I've found tons of Alternatives on Mandarake.

And the main differences from what I can tell are that Alternative has black pipes near his shoulder instead of silver, he doesn't have the silver "prototype" label down the side of his body and he's missing the silver "V" detail on his forehead. Essentially he's a minor repaint of Zero.

Huh, nothing really worth going for then*, I like the silver better anyway.

Is Ryuki that expensive now? I remember when I got him around the 35bucks mark.

He goes for about $80 no, same price point as Ouja.

Wow he really ranked up in price, man I remember when I bought mine for 35bucks and it was steal since he came with Dragredder, now even at 80 it doesn't really feel like the price justify it all.

There's a reason I don't have him and Ouja yet, and it's because of that price tag.

I got my SHF Ryuki at Otakon in 2013 at Bluefin's booth and he was $40 plus tax when I got him. I still have mine and I do hope he gets a reissue for people that miss out on him. He's a really good figure overall.

Ryuki's the absolute cat's sack, I love him.

Ryuki(and Ryuga) is one of the best Figuarts I own. If anyone ever has a chance to get one at a good price, do it.

I ordered a crap ton of figuarts with my Christmas money. They will be arriving sometime near the end of the month.

Getting Ryuki for $30ish, even before the exchange rate changed to something more favorable, felt like a steal at the time. My first Figuart, and a helluva way for that line to make an impression on me.

Ouja, while nice (as Ryuki Figuarts almost always are), doesn't quite pack much bang for your buck since it's sans contract monster. I know Knight & Darkwing is a release in major need of a re-release due to its prices, but Ouja could use one as well.

Ryuuki, Knight and Ouja could all use a re-release. Their the three iconic Ryuuki riders and should definitely be in more people's hands. I count myself lucky that I was able to get them back when they released for not-sought-after prices.
