I'm using Heliolisk as a good new Electric-type. Get one with Dry Skin; immunity to Water is a big bonus.

Now I'm just missing Squirtle and Bulbasaur with their hidden ability.

Heliolisk sounds pretty decent, though you'll probably need to be proficient in the use of weather effects.
