Wow. My change notifier missed that bike restock. Must've been really quick. Sigh. The wait continues. Chase is missing part of himself without that bike.

Both secured thanks to Kickback and PkmnMstr messaging me simultaneously that they were there again after I missed the first go >_<

I was dumb and tried to place two orders at once. Chase on my computer and his Bike on my phone. Scored the bike but not Chase. Got an "unexpected system error" on my computer. And then just kept refreshing and got Chase the second round.

You and me both. He's already the most difficult AmiAmi thing I've ordered (note. I've had it way too easy, so I guess it's just karma).

Got both without a time out and without freezing. I even entered my password wrong and still got in okay.

Bike looks to be something that isn't restocking. Figure has been back 4 times now.

Hope that's a temporary thing because if I got to another site for the bike or even worse, the aftermarket, I'll be so sad.

I got site errors on multiple occasions. Sigh. It's just not my night.

The worst part is, I had one in my cart at AmiAmi, but I was plagued with site issues and it sold out from underneath me.

Ouch. That sucks. I lost mine trying to get it in my cart. Had Mashin in there, but in the few seconds it took me to hit add to cart for the bike, I had already missed it.

If it weren't for the effect pieces, I'd say screw it and just go to bed.

I don't really care all that much about the effect pieces. They're nice bonuses, but I really want the bike since it's such a huge part of Mashin's character. Same reason I want the Tridoron. It's actually used on the show and is a big part of the characters they go with.

I haven't seen past episode two or three of Drive, honestly. At this point I'm more invested in the figures than the series itself.

I'm loving Drive so far, both the figures and the show. Don't think I've been so excited about a KR show since W or maybe OOOs. Really like the tone it's striking.

Hope the eventual Figuarts Mach and his bike don't prove this tricky to get. Absolutely adore that thing and really want both.

Though their customer service has been kind of crappy lately, I just went ahead and grabbed a Ride Chaser from CDJapan. I wasn't planning on paying tonight, but if it means I get one and some sleep it's worth it.

Man, that 12% extra on top of paying shipping twice would kind of hurt, but I might go for the CDJapan one too. We'll see here.

With the current conversion rate, it only came out to $44.32 with SAL shipping. Well worth a few hours more rest. Good luck grabbing one!

Not sure if it means anything since it HLJ because we know how they like to handle pre-orders but chaser is showing up there and if you click on him you will see the bike in the related searches.

Probably sometime tonight, but who knows? Drive went up the evening after he was up on AmiAmi, but N-Y seems a bit unpredictable.

Thanks from me as well, got both the bike and Chaser on AmiAmi. I go with them this time since I need the bike and the price is just too good to pass up.

Grabbed Chase on the first run and the bike on the second. Not for me, though, I'm just middle-manning with Midnight Shadow as my cut.

The only reason I am getting Chaser's bike is because of the effect piece.

My problem is that it is too much like W and OOO. It's predictable and repetitive like Wizard and Fourze (and I love Fourze), and it's a bit childish due to the micro machines.

You know what I would love to do? Take the dialog from the micro machines commercial from Robot Chicken and put it over a set of clips showing off the cars from this Drive.

I can't use SAL shipping. I need to have my stuff shipped via something quick like EMS/FedEx/DHL or I'll go crazy. :lol

I gotta say. When I started collecting figuarts. It was a lot easier when I had more disposable income and an entire collection of DC universe classics and Marvel Legends to sell to fund this habit.

Having had to sell nearly all my collection after my wife was laid off to help cushion us until she found another job. I'm finding it much harder to try to buy back these things. It's first world problems to the highest degree. But it's worth noting how much more difficult I am finding it

Is anyone else like me and waiting on responses from Yokatta? The last email I received from them was from December 1st. I've been trying to get them to ship out my last batch of preorders I've had them holding, but now they won't respond to any emails, their Twitter has no activity, and their website hasn't been updated.

This is the first time I've had problems with them, and I'd really just like to know what's going on. They've got hundreds of dollars in preorders from me just sitting in limbo because I can't get a response so I can have them shipped out to me.

Apparently they are changing websites (servers, maybe?) and are not going to answer any request until that is all complete. Might not be until next month when they start doing business again.

should figuarts do human figuarts again? I kinda like the idea of figuarts based on a more anime aesthetic than a realistic one.

I would like for them to do out of suit riders. I wouldn't even mind if they have animeesque faces, it works really well with the Blade broken helmet figure. Each Rider has really iconic clothing so it would be pretty cool.

I still like to see S.H Figuarts Kamen Ichigo manga edition since Tamashii Nations has used the Ichgio mold so many already that I'm surprise that they haven't done it yet.

I wouldn't pick them up. I was really into Den-O when I was watching it, and I'd have loved the figure of Hana, but passed on it due to the anime/manga styling. For me, it clashes too much with the very literal aesthetic of the other Figuarts. I suspect that's also why it's the only Rider Figuart that uses that aesthetic. (Well, that I know about.) Riderman and Tackle both look (to me) like an actual person in a suit.

And yeah, I'm probably crazy enough that I'd buy Figuarts of the un-transformed Riders. Probably even key cast members like human-Ankh, Kiriko, and Mai.
