Is anyone having trouble using ACT4 stands on the SHF Iron Man figures? They're all too heavy to use in flying poses with those stands

Just tighten the little screws on the stage arms and they'll work fine. I use Act 4 for basically everything and once you tighten them a bit they can hold just about any figure.

Secondary riders don't get reissues very frequently, I wouldn't count on that happening. I also think it would be very strange to reissue one of the really old Figuarts, like ultimate Kuuga, at around the same time as a brand new Kuuga renewal. Even as good as Ultimate Kuuga was, it's noticeably more dated looking than newer releases.

That's too bad since I would like to get Baron without paying for super high after market prices for him :(. I always thought Ultimate Kuuga still looks like a solid figure now. I remember he came out in 2011, most figuarts around that time still look good today in my opinion (Like Shin Ichigo for example).

Did Baron start spiking? The last couple I saw on Mandarake seemed about the same price.

He's $81 on NY and I remember seeing him being pretty high on Mandarke around a month ago. Since he's a very popular character, I would imagine Tamashii Nations would consider reissuing him due to popular demand.

Ahh finally paid off for blue beet and jungler, hoh man I'm starting to not like NY's way of payment, since the deadline always comes in just when I get paid so I get really paranoid that I won't be able to pay for it in time.

NY is no real indicator for the market, they jack the prices up high because they can. I remember how much Melon Energy got up the day it was released.

I've seen some Barons for a reasonable price not too long ago on Mandarake, Gaim too. They are popular, but not that hard to find.

And he's popular alright, but I personally won't reissue a figure that isn’t one year old and that still gets updates in form of Mango.

Looking over the checklist, it occurs to me that it's been a relatively long while since a Gaim Figuarts has been solicited. It seems Fourze and Wizard Figuarts slacked off considerably after their shows ended. I wonder if all the Gaim Figuarts goodness Bandai showed late last year will end up being a tease.

(I'm still smarting over Bouken Pink and Yellow, Gekitouja, Rio and Melee, the second Mazinger Z weapons set, etc.)

I doubt it. It's more like Bandai are running out of new "main" Riders (I say this before someone instantly replies with "x movie Rider" etc.) to release and they want to release all their big sellers over a longer period of time rather than all at once.

It took like 3 years to get all the Ryuki Riders released.

Which is a shame, because some of the older riders are really damn expensive, and would sell well amongst the new croud who like old things (Ouja and Knight say hello :D)

Their mistake was bundling him with the Mango Lord. If it had been Ichigo Gaim, this wouldn't be an issue.

But no, we're stuck waiting for Strawberry Ninja-Samurai goodness to show up with the Kiwi Dragon.

I went to that store last December and it was really cool. Very friendly people there and I did found some old issues of Spider-Man 2099 that I was missing. Also Raia at $22, I'm attemping to buy it while my wallet is telling me no.

... Damn that is a nice price on Super-1 and the Hurricaneger/Gouraiger sets.

Baron's mango mace dragging on the ground as he walks just looks so intimidating for some reason. Haha. They both look a lot better than I cared for. Not enough to make me go on a hunt for them but if there ever is a chance, I won't hesitate to pick them up.

... So I'm having second thoughts about my ambivalence towards Pine.

Anyone know what the effect pieces used are? That twisty yellow one used around the pineapple is sweet.

Think that's the drill effect for Fourze, think it came from the effect/stand set?

They look great, I'm quite happy that I murdered my wallet to pre-order these guys. The Mango Punisher lacks some minor paint-details but that's okay.

I still love how they gave the Pine Iron a metal chain, and the articulated shoulder-pads look awesome.

Can't wait to get these, come on Blue Beet!

The drill effect came in the Tamashii Nations 2012 Fourze effect set. Along with effects for Fire and Elec States.

Sadly I shipped everything together at N-Y this month so it's still the waiting game for me. I'm not sure which items I am more excited to get.

I did not even know those were actually happening.

How could you not? They were announced months ago and have been out for a bout a week or so now.

I thought they were just prototypes shown at that convention that showcased all of the things like Sigurd, Strawberry Arms, Kiwi Arms, etc.

I guess NY will get Blue Beet later this week or next week. I already got a e-mail from NY that my Ultra Act Ultraman 80 is being shipped out, so I will likely get him somewhere in February. I still need to pay off Black Beet but I do need to sign up for Otakon soon though.

We got confirmations and preorders for them way before that event happened though.

That just shows you how much I have been paying attention to the Gaim stuff. I still only have the first three figures that came out.

My Duke came in today, perfect timing, awesome figure. Again, I love the bubbles in the soda-parts, and Duke's unique armor-parts are looking really cool. I knew this since Baron Lemon Energy came out, but the cape is just so much better than this „thing“ on Kiwami.

Can't wait for the rest of the Next-Gen Riders!

(Still waiting on NY to get SIC Leangle Jack in so they can ship my Duke.)

My Gaim two-pack & Blue Beet, along with 80, are in an order with SIC Water Style and that's not out until the end of this week, so no processing/shipping emails from NY for me until next week probably. At least they'll be coming via EMS so I'll get the January stuff that much quicker.

Ahhh my ZO and Duke arrived today, they're both perfect figures. Man Like Kiwami said the capes on the lemons are so much better than the fruit basket cape.

I got Shining Agito in the mail from Amazon today and he's fantastic. I wish I got him sooner then later. This figure makes me want a Agito Ground Form renewal now!
