Anyway, I am not amused.

The fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... HELL NO!!!

This news better be false. There is no way they would cast someone crappy ass actor as Ben Asslick for Batman. He is NOT Batman. They might as well have brought back George Clooney. This clearly shows DC does not know how the fuck to make a movie out of their comics. They need to stick to just doing tv shows, at least they can do those semi right.

Lol at people who said Tyler Hoechlin was a bad choice, then Ben Afleck is cast.

He is a better choice then 90% of the other candidates they had floating around. Orlando bloom? Ryan gosling ? Seriously? The man can act ( no , really ... He can ) and he looked good as daredevil ( the script and director were the worst parts of that flick, not affleck )

I was rooting for Josh Brolin to get the part , but Ben is fine by me. He will do a great job with the role. Better then Bale did anyway.

Bale was perfect as Batman. He was both Bruce Wayne AND Batman. Affleck will only be able to pull off Bruce, he is NOT Batman.

I was initially shocked and worried by Affleck's casting, but then I realised,

a) I'm one of the few people in the world that liked Daredevil
b) That was 10 years ago and actors change
c) I haven't seen a film with him in years, and from what I hear he's pretty good now
d) I haven't seen the damn film to judge yet.

Despite the mixed opinions on MoS, most agree that the casting was pretty excellent all around so obviously Affleck had something they were looking for. I'm still skeptical, but I'm not going to bother damning the film until I have more to go off of.

And Bale wasn't all that great as Bruce Wayne or Batman. He was a passable Bruce but his Batman was all "ranting vigilante" and no "world's greatest detective".

2 things.
Bale left. They offered him [X] amount of money to come back, and he declined.
Bale didn't pull of Bats very well. He always felt so awkward in that costume.

If I can disregard the original Daredevil movie and only count the Director's Cut, then I'll say that I liked it, too.
