Let's do collectible device. We need to know that so we know how to incorporate it into the belt. I was thinking it could be amber stones and each one contains dinosaur dna which can help him change forms and transform.
Dino Gems like in Dino Thunder. Or DNA Scales.
I was thinking of something I liked to call "Fossil Chips". Basically its Dinosaur fossil fragments the size/shape of a poker chip or maybe an SD Card? Granted the whole thing isn't a piece of fossil, it's has a small chip of fossil in/on it.
We'll make this into a poll. So far we have:
Amber Stones Dino Gems Dino Chips |
puzzle slates with each piece forming a body part ala fourze
I suggested dino essence cards (thick as a gaia memory) that make their own noises when he slides them through the belt.
Why so thick? That would have to make the scanning device huge.
well, with normal cards, you would have very limited sounds you could make with the belt.
I think it would be interesting to have a more open ended side of the collectible items spectrum. or at the very least have it to where we could pull a Fourze and find a workaround. then again, this is something more in the realm of fantasy, so we wouldn't have to be obligated with something like toy limitations. |
I'm not looking at it in the terms of toys either. I'm looking at it in terms of design and appearance. So, my next suggestion would be a key system? Not like what I'm using for my Kaijin set. But something like a sliding tumbler system. Paleo slides a key/card through the reader, the teeth on the side hit a series of tumblers and make the noises.
I was thinking of having a generic dinosaur head bite down on whatever he slides in the belt regardless.
