Is it petty to take issue with personal insults, though?

I insulted a show, you insulted people. I feel like that's not a pot/kettle situation at all. More accurately, you're hastily trying to backpedal on blatantly generalizing to save face by making it seem like criticism against a property is somehow equal to personally putting somone down, and it's embarrassingly transparent.

Fair enough. Admittedly I should have specified "Kamen Rider" threads, and I should have specified the quote further by adding "ABOUT THIS." But even then, as I said in my reply to Split, it was a generalization anyway. I know you like things, obviously. I've seen both of you express it many times, and plus, you wouldn't even be here if you didn't. It just amusing to me how in every Ghost or Ex-Aid thread your jarring opposition is almost guaranteed. I never said that was bad either.

Yeah, I'm done arguing with you. I can already see that it's pointless. What you're saying isn't accurate to my intention, but I'm quickly understanding that it doesn't matter; you're going to see what you want to see. I admit that I made a mistake or two with my word choice in the initial tease, but if you couldn't tell I meant no real harm then that's your problem.

You also could've avoided the whole thing by not generalizing or saying anything at all about it, really. If you realise how much you need to preface a comment like that, might it not be more trouble than it's worth?

I wonder if this will play out like it did for Kamen Rider Ghost. In the initial images and in the movie, his hood stayed up. I don't recall whether they altered this in his Drive appearance or saved it for the first episode of the show, but someone clearly realized that the hood being up wasn't working the way they wanted.

It's possible that they'll adjust Ex-Aid similarly, although I question the feasibility. With Ghost's hood, it was easy enough to put it down. Eliminating the irises for Ex-Aid would require altering the merchandise already in production. They might come up with a solution like different visors with the eyes focused in different directions. More likely, and more cost effective, would be for them to pay careful attention to how the suit actor moves and how they film it, so as to avoid the awkwardness.

Then again, they put him in those shoes, so... I dunno. (I'm still torn on the suit. I tend to like Rider suits due to design and sleekness*, but Ex-Aid's color scheme makes everything look painfully cheap to me.)

* - Clearly, the sleekness doesn't often extend to the belt.

Sometime, I am really want Ex-Aid opening sung by female singer (the last time Kamen Rider opening sung by female singer was Fourze) and Ex-Aid opening has powerful and energic song like Gaim opening theme....

Maybe techno rock music genre could really fit for Ex-Aid opening theme song...

This is still so weird and I'm not sure how to feel and it's both exciting and scary and why did they give him those shoes I can't wait for this to exist.

I hope the eyes and hair switch with each form. Maybe one of those could be cool. These designs just make me wish there was more Akibaranger.
