It's better to have a laugh than to wait patiently for the virus to kill us. My anxiety makes me choose to either make light of the situation or go so paranoid that I break down. I rather have the former. Right now I have the latter and it's not fun. I'm at work and I'm struggling to keep my composure. I so badly rather be at home in bed crying.

There’s better ways to handle anxiety than joking about a pandemic that’s got a death toll in the thousands, my dude. I’ve got horrendous anxiety too, that’s not a free pass to say whatever offensive thing comes to mind.

Eh not everyone has the same taste in humor. I don't see any reason why not to joke about it. Death is just a part of life. It's on the dark side of humor, but it's not malicious or mean spirited humor.

Okay then explain what part of it is funny, the people dying or the people suffering.

Yeah I am done with this. Good lord I've seen people say worse on here without an argument developing. And like no form of media has ever made jokes about death or disease ever (sarcasm). That's my final say on the matter.

Just because no one in the media makes jokes about it DOES NOT make it an okay thing to joke or meme about.

And the fact that no one, not a single person in the media is taking this issue lightly at all should really tell you something dude.
