Yeah, Gen 5 didn't really make you grind your levels up like Diamond and Pearl did. Just fighting trainers between towns, Plasma, and gym stuff was enough to keep you on par.

The thing is though, White 2 isn't hard, it's just monotonous. You aren't beaten by a Gym Leader because of their skill, it's just all a numbers game crossed with rock paper scissors. As such, I'd rather have steady progression, than have to take several hours out of the story at every new town to grind up my Pokémon so I can best the rock paper scissors match.

I was rewatching older Pokemon episodes, you know how Mewtwo is unbeatable in the anime. I pictured someone challenging Giovanni and by just dumb luck sends out a dark type that can counter it.

So after bitching about White 2 on here, I took my DS with me to work and played some more on the game. I defeated the chick with the plane, who flew me to some sandy place, where I caught a scorpion and some kind of camel cow thing that is also a volcano. I'm now currently wandering around a volcano, looking for a magic stone so I can catch a legendary Pokémon. Looks like I put this game down, just before it started getting good.

Yeah but in universe the Pokemon from other generations are just Pokemon Ash hasn't seen yet.

Doublade looks meh. I thought that Honedge was going to have a crazy amount of different evolution branches focusing on different types of stats and a different sword design. Like a special attack based evolution that was a katana.

So apparently the big thing about Doublade is that he can learn Sacred Sword,a move only learned by 4 other pokemon,all "Legendaries"

Doublade is ok. I preordered Y today, and got a Poster, and Yveltal's height to weight ratio makes no sense. 19 feet tall and 447.5 pounds? Xerneas is 10 feet shorter, and weighs 474 pounds.

To me legendaries are an easy out.They're what people use when they dont want variety,when they just want to say "I have the strongest!" Well,so does everyone else.I like a strong team,but one I earned,not just captured.

To me, Legendaries are like the reward you get for completing the game, in a sense (Yes, I know you get Kyogre/Groudon before the Elite Four, but whatever). I like using them on my own, but not for multiplayer (unless, we were to use only legendary teams).

So Y gets you, Yveltal, yeah? Because I remember when White swapped the Pokémon around and I really don't want that afro stag thing.

Cool cool. I just decided to go for which one had the coolest looking Pokemon. A lot of my friends who have grown up with Pokémon play it with a close eye of detail, studying every stat and playing every battle with tactics.

Then me, both aged like seven and aged twenty one, going 'ooo that thing is cool, you can be on my team' :lol

I think Xerneas will be interesting gameplay-wise being the new type introduced in Gen 6. I hope it has a cool signature move.

I think Xerneas' signature move is Geomancy and Yveltal has the move Oblivion Wing. It's pretty clear to me whom i'm getting.
