So I just read the first Flash and Speed Force Convergence issues and they were really good. I loved seeing a Pre-Crisis Bruce Wayne and Barry again and the story was interesting. Speed Force was quite good too.

Also read The Question and Swamp Thing. Not sure what I think about The Question since it didn't really seem to be about anything but Swamp Thing was quite good. I'm really enjoying these Pre-Crisis stories though. All I have left to read are Harley Quinn, The New Teen Titans, and Crime Syndicate. Of course, I'm also starting to think I should have grabbed a few others but too late now.

The reason why it's taken this long for people to start considering superhero movies good (and even then opinions vary on which ones are), is because people, the vast majority, will always view it as simple. The fact that there's a quick 2-hour version of what "these geeks" read available to them is nice, but the most interested many people will have in actual comics is "which ones can I buy for my kids?"

The JLA book is really good, too. I never thought I could feel nostalgia for the JL Detroit, but Nicieza has a really good take on the characters.

I loaded the photo into Sony Vegas (the program I use for my reviews) and de-saturated the colors so it would get that depressed look.

I went to my comic shop to pick up my holds and grabbed Adventures of Superman, JLA, and Legion of Super Heroes. They were out of the Batman and the Outsides issue so the guy ordered one for me and put me down for the second issues to those series.

I read the second issues to Question and Speed Force and both were good, but I felt a little let down by the ending of Speed Force since nothing was actually accomplished. Adventures of Superman was pretty good and it was nice to see the real Superman again.

The Booster Gold and Blue Beetle books are fantastic.

Yeah, I feel the same way, surprisingly, considering I've never been a huge fan of the character. It seems to have a similar vibe to The Flash, which I would say is a good thing. I'm hoping CBS gives it a fair shake.

Ok this me being superman related any thing fan boy mode. I can not wait for this to start. I big superman fan to any thing other DC character so I be watching this. The fact super is establish in this gives me hope

It only took me 10 seconds to realize that somehow the Supergirl series will be connected to Arrow and The Flash.

Doctor Fate 8-Page Preview

I'm so hyped. :D

A nice ending to a season that was a mixed bag. It also went into areas I did not expect it to. I was expecting Nyssa to take over the league and resurrect Sarah via the lazarus pit. Nevertheless, I liked how everything ended without a bow on it. Obviously everything will go back to normal in the first episode to the next season, but still, I am so glad the whole Laurel/Lance thing was not just amended by the end just for the sake of it (regardless of how annoying this aspect is) and the same goes for Diggle's relationship with Oliver. However, maybe we really will see him become a Green Lantern next season. That would be awesome. I loved Lance's comment, "The city is under attack? It must be May." I hope that with the way they ended this they start going into a much more fun season next because I love what they are doing with Flash. I don't want Arrow to go all super cheery, but I'd like more of a balance between its light hearted moments and serious ones since this season really went overboard on the serious ones. I hope next season is also when Ollie takes up the name Green Arrow. Nevertheless, we know Damian Darhke and HIVE are going to be the big threat. As a finale, I give it an 8/10. For the entire season, I give it a 6/10 as it is the weakest season thus far. Ra's will eventually be back.

So who is Sarah's actress playing? I figured should would have been brought back by the lazarus pit in last night's episode, but that was clearly not the case.

We don't know exactly what type of role they will be taking though. Plus, we still have another season of Flash to get through before this show premiers, so anything can happen. Hell, for all we know, Flash could be creating a Flashpoint universe and this is their version of Cold and Heatwave.

Except we know Atom doesn't die because:

1. He was announced to be in the show months ago.

2. The newspaper article Wells is constantly looking at from the future.

3. It is a comic book universe. Death is never a guarantee.

Legends of Tomorrow looks absolutely fantastic. Between the Atom finally living up to his name and Sara coming back with a fitting identity, I couldn't be happier. ALWAYS happy to get more Captain Cold too, Wentworth Miller has been absolutely killing it in the role.

Supergirl also looks like a lot of fun, a little too painfully cliche here and there but nothing that's putting me off watching it. Looks to have the right sense of humour I was expecting from it which is good.

On the comic book front, just picked up my order from the last six weeks so I won't be short of reading for the next few days :D

See what Den-O said about Sarah and apply it to Captain Cold. Very, very clearly the same antagonistic character. While there's the possibility they could make the character work great in this role, what we've seen so far - especially after this week's Flash episode - just absolutely does not have him fitting in for me. No changing my mind there.

Re: The Flash

I don't want to post the image because of spoilers, but have you guys seen that picture of Tom Cavanagh in the Time Bubble from the Flash finale with the Jay Garrick helmet below. I know a lot of people are thinking that the Flash finale will be a mini-Flashpoint, but could we also seem some elements of Flash of Two Worlds? I also wonder if the after effects of the finale will continue into next season?

Also, in an AMA yesterday, Danielle Panabaker further implied that Jay Garrick might be showing up and also that we may see some Killer Frost action in the finale.

I noticed the Rever Flash bit when I went back to watch the trailer again yesterday, however I didn't notice the Jay helmet at all. Man things could get really really crazy by next season on Flash. I'd say the mini-Flashpoint elements of the finale could really throw some curveballs.

The Jay Garrick helmet isn't in the trailer, sorry I wasn't clear on that. It's from a BTS shot filming that scene. It may have just been randomly tossed in the screw with the fans, but Panabaker's comments seem indicate something more.

Also, an interesting image from the finale trailer featuring a white background on the Flash emblem. I'm wondering if that is indicative of impending alternate timeline shenanigans. Also probably spoilery!

The white background thing has to do with current Barry going back in time to save his mom, thus erasing his future Flash self from history. That's just Future Flash from the original encounter with Thawne in the past ceasing to be thanks to our current Barrys' meddling. Even though technically that should have happened anyway since Thawne came back in time and mucked with history as is.

Ah, yes. That makes sense. It'll be so very interesting to see how this all plays out and then a rough wait until season 2. :D
