So i guess today's episode pretty much shows how insignificant obtaining any Super Saiyan form has become recently.

Kale pretty much becomes her version of a Legendary Super Saiyan because she thought Caulifla and Cabba were a 'thing' (liked each other) and got jealous. And I thought Broly's hatred for Goku was dumb. Plus they made it painfully obvious that Kale is "female Broly". Her actions, words, and even moves/attacks are pretty much copy paste of Broly. Such a waste...

Also, Caulifla becomes a SSJ2. And to quote the Randy Orton memes, "OUTTA NOWHERE!!!". An episode after obtaining base SSJ, Caulifla becomes a SSJ2, and it's not even amazing or great. It just happens and she only does it to deflect a ki blast. Like really? Way to treat such a amazing transformation when it was first revealed, so poorly. I hear alot of people say it could be because of the different universe, so different rules, but even then, that's just lazy and dumb

To be honest I kind of always had the impression that SSJ wasn't all that special, it's just that the way to turn it on was forgotten by time.

Once the method was found all you needed was to have the right level of power.

Yeah that's how i've come to view as well. As if the Saiyans became so complacent in their base power that they didn't need it anymore and it eventually became forgotten.

The whole "focus your energy into a spot in your back" the U6 Saiyans are doing is kinda dumb though. But I love Caulifla and Kale so whatever :lol

Hell, even Super Sayain Blue is starting to become less special.


I really like watching Cabba and Caulifa together, they act like they're brother and sister and it's great.

Rumor has it that Freeza is going to ditch Universe 7 and work for Universe 4.

Y'know, one thing's been bugging me about the Tournament of Power: why didn't they just make Future Trunks a member of the Universe 7 team?

Beerus is tired of time travel, and while having 2 Zeno's is one thing, I think they'd take issue with fucking the space-time continuum to get a teammate. As much as I love Future Trunks.

We just had Future Trunks in the last saga. It would feel redundant to have him around again. With Freeza, he has been dead since Episode 27 though.

Getting Arc System to do this was a smart move, Guilty Gear Xrd is absolutely gorgeous and the screenshots look like they emulated the DB style really well too.

2D fighter sounds promising, so this might actually be the DBZ game a lot of people (myself included) have wanted for a long time.

I'm not too thrilled about 3x3 though, I would prefer a classic one on one system.

Animation style will take some getting use to be oh man that straight up looks like I'm playing the anime.

I love this game already. Not only because it looks great and like a lot of fun to play, but also because Capcom just got a giant kick in the nuts. This looks so much better than MVC:I, it's not even funny.

I'm usually not a big fan of team-based fighters but this I could get into.

I wonder how they handle transformations, we didn't get to see regular Goku or Vegeta fight, it might just be Super Saiyan 2 as a standard for both and then Goku gets one alternate character variation as SSJ3.

Or maybe have the character automatically transform for certain moves? I don't know, I'd like for this game to scrap the form change gimmick entirely, it's clunky and way too slow.

Also, this allows for more character variation as you can have 4 unique characters instead of 4 variations of Goku. If they do have a certain amount of alternate versions for the Saiyans but also have a lot of other fighters to choose from I wouldn't be mad either.

The only thing that makes me a bit sad is that GT-stuff will most likely get the shaft for obvious reseasons. Maybe as DLC? I want to see SSJ4 Goku, Baby Vegeta and Syn Shenron with these graphics.

I can't wait for this game. I hope it has a huge cast and lots of stuff from Dragon Ball Super.

after watching the trailer of Dragon ball fighterz and i can say i might get it or pass on it as i was big fan of xenovers concept and it was what i wanted in the dragon ball games i dunno how I feel them returning to the only anime story line game. also is now curse that when we get good DB games they only last for 2 games.

Yeah, I don't really play Dragon Ball games but the original story and create a character aspect was what drew me towards Xenoverse.

This is the best Dragon Ball Saga since Freeza and Cell. Amazing episodes the last two.

Universe 9 is just Chinese knock offs of Sonic characters, there's no way you can convince me otherwise.

Totally forgot to mention that I watched episodes 94-96 the other day. I loved Freeza's trolling moment when the dog dude hit him with the God of Destruction's energy. However, my absolute favorite moment from these episodes was when the one Kai said, "He's more of a God of Destruction than you are!" Now I want to see Freeza become the God of Destruction for a universe instead of going back to Hell. That would be so damn awesome. Oh, and listening to Freeza talk to Frost was priceless.

However, I can't help but feel like Freeza was shoehorned into this for fanservice rather than for story. I guess I'll find out once the manga reaches this point.

Finally caught up on Super. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more, watching the Not-Ginyu Force Pride dudes get their asses whooped by 17 and 18, watching Freeza torture a dude until he eliminated himself, watching Roshi and Tenshinhan tag team one guy, or Krillin getting knocked out by sheer stupidity, but these episodes have been a blast. My only complaint is that at the rate time is flowing, it is going to be next summer before this tournament ends. I was shocked to see the Zen-O's instantly destroy a universe. I expected it wouldn't happen until after the tournament is over.

Well, I expect two things to come from this:

1. Goku wins and wishes all of the universes restored.
2. The Zen-Os decide that they have had so much fun that they want another tournament in the future so they restore everything to normal.

Oh, but wouldn't it be awesome if the tournament ended up coming down to Frost and Freeza, with Frost thinking they will call it a draw and then Freeza just beats him to a bloody pulp? Overall, these are probably the best episodes from the show in a while, so I can't wait to see where this goes.

My theory on how the Tournament will turn out.

1 - Goku wins and they wish back all of the Universe. Even the other Universes that got destroyed many years ago.

2 - Goku wins and wants to wish back all of the Universes. Grand Priest says that he won't allow that and Goku makes a deal by wishing back one Universe. So they wish back Universe 6 seeing that Goku wants to train Kale and Caulifla.

3 - Universe 6 wins and Champa ends up wishing back Universe 7. Beerus did him a favor by wishing back Universe 6's Earth earlier.

4 - Universe 11 wins and Jiren & Toppo coming to the conclusion that Goku wasn't a bad guy. So they wish back Universe 7.

I don't trust Jiren and Toppo. I don't think they are really the good guys we have been made out to believe. They might be for justice, but I think their universe has a skewed view of justice since they conquer planets in the name of it. After all, would the other five really have used the dirty tricks they did against Caulifa and Kale if they were actually honorable?

Belmod's comment in the latest episode regarding Kersel's attack definitely has me thinking that way too. I mean, I suppose you could conquer worlds that are evil if it's in the name of "justice"

I really want these guys to be on the up and up, I hope this just isn't a case of Ginyu Force 2.0.

Nearly forgot about that line! That really threw me for a second, because it seemed to be in such stark contrast to our impression of the troopers up until that point.

The "Goku is the bad guy" perspective was fun and all, but something definitely doesn't seem right with these Prider Troopers now...

This tournament has been a lot of fun, though. And some interesting new tidbits have just been revealed I'm really looking forward to seeing play out - the remaining two members of Universe 6 are Namekians.

Having new Namekians is cool. I hope we get something original with them and not a rehash of Piccolo or Piccolo Daimao.

I'm hoping these guys get enough screentime.

Most of U3 and U10 have been jobbers. I have a feeling that U10 will be the next one to go down which is sad because I will miss Gowasu. Not to mention the characters from Universe 3 are very cool looking and they got taken out way too easily.

To be honest, I can't keep track of who is from what universe and they are just there to lose, so I feel there is no reason to get invested int hem.

What's funny is how I've seen some posts and people questioning how, without kaioken, Vegeta might be stronger than Goku in SSB.

About that: If that were true, don't you think Vegeta would be the focus of Limit Breaker X or the new form everyone's hoping for? Don't you think that poster of shirtless Goku with his back turned would've focused on Vegeta instead of him?

Goku's always saved the day, and most of the time, when it comes to new forms: He usually unlocks them first.

So I wouldn't expect Vegeta, as much as he's progressed in Super, to hop ahead of Goku- at least not in the Tournament of Power.
