Yeah it just has those certain sensibilities from the 90s that pretty much went away when Gaoranger came around. Not just in how it looks but also in how the shows are written and structured.

While we're semi on the subject of ninja sentai, I'd like to bring up something I've had on my mind for a while. I think that it would be interesting if we got a ninja sentai where the costumes had black as their primary color, and then a sash, boots and gloves in their personal color. That way they'd look more like ninjas while still having the multicolored costumes that make sentai what it is.

It could work. Maybe in ten years or so when the next Ninja Sentai is due :lol

Actually, they would look more like Kurokos from Kabuki theatre (as seen in Shinkenger), because that is what modern depictions of Ninjas came from. Traditionally, Ninjas wore various colors, whatever they needed to blend in with their surroundings. The Kurokos are also acting as hidden figures, as supportes in the stage play, so this similarity kinda merged the image of both.

Didn't know they were based off kuroko, though thinking about it does make a lot more sense, since aren't you supposed to ignore/disregard the kuroko when they step on stage or something?

Yup in Kabuki the Kuroku are meant to be invisible which is why they are completely covered :)

I'm going to sit here and patiently wait for this to be over and the next Sentai to be announced. Adored Goseiger, didn't care for Gokaiger and hated Go-Busters. But I absolutely loved Kyoryuger. So, if the trend continues, I'll love whatever comes next.

How would be the 40 anniversary season ?

I don't think the 40th will be a big anniversary season like Gokaiger. I'm sure we might get some sort of celebratory team-up movie marking the event. But the season itself I'm doubtfull being a Gokai-Sequel.

Yeah its most likely just gonna have loose connections to the anniversary aspect with a big movie. Like Boukenger and Gaoranger did it. Gokaiger is just too recent to do another thing like that. And it would be kinda pointless too.

I'd be very happy with just a VS Super Sentai movie. I really want to see another dream Sentai coming together, like in Gao and Bouken.

And Goseiger had better damnsight be in there somewhere!

Man, I was really hoping for a ghost hunter sentai since the word for 4 is the same as death in most asian languages. But, oh well.

But that wouldn't work in Japanese because 40 uses the "yon"-pronunciation, not the "shi".

Yeah they really need to be in there. Or at least Moune and Hyde since those two are the ones that could realistically appear in a movie at the moment.

Yeah that makes sense; it would be insane if they didn't mark every 4 and 40 in the country. No 4th or 40th floor in a building. No 4's or 40's in numbering houses.

The tallest buildings I went to in Japan and Korea were always below 38 stories; must have been a coincidence lol

There are just as weak/strong as any other Sentai Villain. Getting defeated each week is nothing new at this point.

But they dont have anyone thats strong enough to be the leader.

Because their leaser is still sealed away. Which for Sentai is also nothing new or groundbreaking.

Nothing, to answer your second question first. Tensou Sentai Goseiger was episode after episode of absolute perfectly. Character, story, and quality. Buredoran is the absolute best Sentai villain in history (Candelira is no longer villain, making her the best female hero ever). And Alata is one of the most underrated Red Sentai in the history of the franchise.

And the Mecha were Zord Builder before Zord Builder. You can do anything with them. Connect Headders wherever there's an open port, and there are a lot of open ports.

In closing, Watch Goseiger. Everyone watch Goseiger.

Have tried to re-watch. Isn't a bad series, though at times I feel that Buredoran's build-up is more enticing than any actual character reveals. The Goseiger themselves have a tendency to say the same thing over and over and new "Mecha" pop-up before the most recent set can do much. On top of that, I will say what everyone is thinking, Saban and co. could have easily done Megaforce 10x better than it turned out.

I think you should watch Goseiger. Alata is a cinnamon roll who would die to protect you (Thank you Pocky and Cranky on Twitter for that). He is nothing like that person, for one thing Alata has a soul. I understand they might have similar haircuts, but they are absolutely nothing alike.
