Anyone here been keeping up with the IDW TF comics?

I loved the previous run, most especially TAAO. Maybe because of that attachment I'm finding it a bit hard to get into the new run? I've read every issue so far but it's yet to truly grab me as the previous creative teams did.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I loved MTMTE and RID in the last continuity. That's still the definitive take on Transformers lore, for my money.

The new stuff has been....slow. It feels like a lot of world-building with no payoff.

Cyberverse looks cool because it has that IDW-ish look for the art, but something about it feels lacking.

I wish Hasbro could had buy a better media company.

I'm fine with the overall animation, it's something else that I find lacking but couldn't pinpoint exactly what right off the top of my head.

I haven't checked out any of the cartoons since Prime. The general response to the post-Prime shows seems lukewarm at best.

The only TF-related project I'm actually excited for is the Netflix War for Cybertron series which is supposed to drop some time next year, I think? I really enjoyed the games, and I've always gravitated to the more "serious" takes on the franchise.

Yeah, Transformers Prime set a whole new standard when it was a thing and the shows following that just can't seem to get my attention. Again, with Cyberverse I LOVE THE ART. I love how they updated the looks for the G1 characters.

Let see besides the standard and Dinobots, RID 2015 had Animal Anthro, Animal Features, Full on Animal, and Monsterous transformers. And that is just a simplified list.

I think a Maximal and a Predacon would have a alien-like name if they had a animal from a alien planet as their alt-mode.

You know who they should have put in Last Knight instead of that walking grandfather clock-of-a transformer Cogman? Impactor voiced by Jason Statham. Would it have completely saved the movie? Probably not but at the least I would have had moments of laughter and enjoyment every time he cussed and destroyed things.

I'd like to see a new combiner team based on the bullet train team from Rid'01 show.

I'd enjoy seeing them revisit Rail Racer.
I'd also like to see an updated Magnaboss and Tripredacus, but it's not looking like any of that's gonna happen.

The seacons would be perfect rivals to the railbots.
