I'm not huge on Gotchard suits but Rainbow looks indeed pretty darn good.

And of course he has a cool eyepatch, all the dystopian future characters must have cool eyepatches. Even Maya from Kiva had a cool eyepatch in 2008.

I'm surprised that's Hotaro a few years later from the current timeline. I was thinking much older since DAIGO who will play future Hotaro is in his mid 40s. Fun fact, DAIGO is married to Keiko Kitagawa aka Sailor Mars from the tokusatsu Sailor Moon and was the Ultraman Zero host Nozomu in the Ultraman Saga movie.

I feel like Daybreak's time travel either follows DBZ rules (i.e. Multiverse Theory), or the movie will be about what made Daybreak like that.

So seeing the suit for rainbow in action in that short clip for next week ep I got to say

I'm not a fan of it at all, to bulky to many colors and those shoulder plates my god those shoulder plates in action just don't work

I have a theory about what will happen if Chemy cards that aren't the Nijigon Cards will do in this in the show. In the pictures it shows that when Hopper1 and Steamliner are used it does say Steamhopper. Also, the Rainbow Chemies have big arrow eyes similar to that of Rainbow Gotchard. I think that if a set of cards (using Steamhopper combo for an example), It will summon a rainbow version of this form made using energy (similar to EvilityLive summoning a Evil made out of energy) that will do an attack and/or finisher like Decade Complete. Additionally, I think these rainbow energy forms will have the giant arrow eyes that the Rainbow Chemies and Rainbow Gotchard have. I know it might sound unlikely, and it probably is but I think it would be cool.

I am wondering something though, and I might just be looking way into stuff but wanted to put it out there anyway.
In the episode preview we can see what I think are rainbow versions of Gaiard and Dragonalos (which are a match) but we also see Appareskebows and Goldmechanicor (both having slight changes) alongside Rainbow Gotchard. It seems like Rainbow Chemies that match will summon Rainbow versions of their forms, but then why don't Gaiard and Dragonalos make a combo. I know that they don't have a suit for that in real life but it makes me wonder if Gaiard and Dragonalos cannot canonically be combined by Gotchard.
In the Geats X Gotchard movie, Minato does say that Fantastic and Cosmic Chemies can only be used by high level alchemists, but I think Houtarou not qualifies as a high level alchemist, so maybe it has something to do with the fact that Rinne is related to Fuga and therefore she can use Cosmic and Fantastic Chemies. Maybe her final form will come from the Powers of all Cosmic and all Fantastic Chemies being used together after she lives up to her father's legacy. I think it would be cool if Fuga first showed off the Kamen Rider Wind version of this form, and then afterwards Rinne showed off the Kamen Rider Majade version but she is able to use it better and is stronger (similar to Na-go/Gya-go Fantasy Form in Geats)
I also have a crazy theory about Supana's final form to round this all out. My theory is that Gigantliner will be a Chemy made by Gigist that he then forces Clotho to use in the Dread driver to access Kamen Rider Dread Shinshiki (there is a sound for this in the Dread driver). Clotho while being controlled will kill Lachesis, Supana will be devastated and his black flames will re-emerge, as Lachesis is dying, Gigantliner will see the pain that it has caused and will leave Clotho and go to Supana, transforming Lachesis's Valvarusher into the Neo-Valvarusher (a remold of the Ex-Gotchalibur) then he will use Gigantliner in the Neo-Valvarusher to access his final form.
All of these theories are my own, the only thing that I know about is the leak of the Ex-Gotchalibur repaint, but I have no other knowledge, I just really like this franchise and come up with theories.

I agree but the thing is I can't think of anything else they could do with the other Chemies for this form, Super Gotchard used the Level Number 10 Chemies, Fire Gotchard gave previous forms a power boost, Iron Gotchard focused on one Chemy being powered-up and using other Chemies as attacks, and Platina Gotchard used two powered-up Chemies and harnessed Chemies and focused them on certain body parts to fight. I think they could've evolved the Chemies being focused to certain body parts thing to the point of having body attachments based on Chemies, similar to the BIRTH claws or Valvarad Customs. There could be a sword arm for Apparebushido, A set of wings for Hawkstar and so on. Having the idea of the malgams forcing multiple Chemies together, but purified through Rainbow Gotchard.

Well they could do what the show is about alchemy, maybe unlike Platina which simple combines the powers of the chemmies into parts of the body

See that's the thing though, Rainbow Gotchard isn't like the apex of alchemy. It's a form created via the wish for a bright future for everyone. It's a form that's able to wash away the darkness of malice within Chemy and even breathe life back into those that had been withered. Like this form is Houtaro through and through and Gotcha Brothers (official name the prod blog gave lol) is likely him getting to fight alongside his Chemy friends once all 101 are collected which is super fitting.

The sudden burst of him utilizing alchemy in the form is likely the form boosting his power output while he himself puts his experience as a chef to use in manifesting that ability.

It has zero meaning with the idea of alchemy. The point of a final form its suppose be the climax of all the themes of kamen rider season its in

Geats final form was the apex of his god powers and fox themeing

Saber(even I hate it) brought together the once divided knights and wrote a new story

Revice human and demno stand together in union as one and are equal

Zero one creating new technology to surpass the zero one gear

Rainbow fits no where in what its themes are about and it doesn't help how the form is so gaudy and watching the ep of rainbow gotchard its clear the suit actor is trying as little move around in the suit, in fear of tearing the sides and shoulder pads

Rainbow is a bad final form and shouldn't be the final form platina makes far more sense as a final form.

Also Foruze which I love did the Gotchard friendship and bright future theme BETTER

As Fourze was about space and friendship creating a better future, hell in lore the MC becomes a teacher in order to brighten the new gen of kids lives THAT IS BEYOND PERFECT and its part of its theme

I do agree that it isn't great. It feels like Nijigon was almost pulled out of nowhere and it kinda is weird that every other form has been a variation of SteamHopper and now the pattern is broken. I think its cool that the form represents his friendship with the Chemies, but the thing is we didn't see a lot of friendship with the chemies, we saw a few like Hopper1, Saboneedle, Apparebushido, Wrestler G, Golddash, and a few more. But there were not that many that we saw making the resolution feel not as impactful.

I'm fine with the idea of friendship with the chemies but that's not the theme of gotchard


The themes are Alchemy and Cards and yet we don't get much in terms of alchemy

Rather we get magic disguise as alchemy to be honest feels like the show runners don't know what alchemy is

The only times we seen alchemy really used is like what four five times the main being the goggles used to make the attachment piece


Also as you saw Hotro never was friends with every chemies he was friends with a select few the two X ones that's it. Then we got the weird ass dragon who just comes out of left field

Whats the meaning behind him he's the reason why Hotro can use alchemy why, why is he the reason what makes him that special when alchemy isn't special

but somehow HIS ALCHEMY IS THE MOST SPECIAL

Gotchard is a mess of a story and like I said IT IS just the writers tossing darts at board blindly to see what sticks.

We got three very different style of writers and one of them is brand new and the other barely done much

Overall Gotchard is like messy stew it has no real identity, rather its a mimic trying to be everything

But apparently an SFX Artist mentioned that Majade and Valvarad's upgrades are coming soon. So that's fun to potentially wonder about.

I also think I remember hearing rumors that Koichi Sakamoto was returning for Episode 41? Considering 40 will likely start a new director like they usually do, I can see Sakamoto doing 40 to 41. Rumors circling that is there's also going to be a Kamen Rider Girls song and the group'll be making an appearance sometime soon as well?

Curious to see if it'll coincide with the rumored upgrades.

Honestly... it kinda is though.

Remember, 2nd episode of the show was about Houtaro getting a FMA-esque task of making two RCC weigh the same. And Houtaro succeeds by completely ignoring/side-stepping that idea, and just begging the two Chemies involved to change their diets.

I guess one way to look at it is the way how Hotaro's approach is shaking up the existing concepts and conventions of alchemy within the show, hate it or love it, is some next level alchemy, his bond and friendship with the Chemies being just that. Let's not forget, this is the study of turning one thing into another, but that's just my two cents.

You can go read the Production Blogs and see the producers talk about how their intended theme for Gotchard is people's bonds and friendships and that is very much what the Rainbow Gotchard episode is about (Both Rinne's despair and decision to fight are related to her bonds with the other students, Houtarou and Nijigon pulling each other out of the depths to fight as one). Alchemy isn't a theme, its a motif, which Rainbow Gotchard arguably uses for the first time considering Houtarou has been otherwise running purely on Chemies for the entire season.

I hope Kamen Rider Girls come back, first the return of RIDER CHIPS and now Kamen Rider Girls? That's really exciting

First was the return of Beverly, followed by Chips and now KR Girls. Surely Gotchard is going to have one the best soundtracks.

I am betting now that the Kamen Rider Girls song will either be Majade's final form theme or the movie's theme

Is Gotchard Daybreak gonna be the antagonist movie rider or will expect a new movie rider for Gotchard to fight?

There's a rumor that there is a new belt that will be released that will be a repaint of the dread driver with new gold stuff added. I don't know if it is for the movie or the show but if it's for the movie, I'm guessing Geryon will be the movie villain. I highly doubt that Gotchard Daybreak would be the villain because he is a hero and not a villain.

I'm not sure where we're getting the idea that Daybreak is getting a special when the poster with him has 'The Summer Movie' on it. I think that indicates the movie is going to have him as a focus character.

I just thought, since boonranger Gotacard AND daybreak in a single summer seems a bit to much that's three stories we will need to go over and that's going to be very rushed in a 1 hour and 30 or so film

The movie plot will involve Gotchard Daybreak somehow but not be a separate Gotchard and Daybreak movie. Rider/Sentai summer movies are normally split 1 hour for Rider and 30 minutes for Sentai so there should be time for a Gotchard Daybreak Story in there

We'll see how Daybreak's story brings the main characters in. (Trailers out and now we know).
