Just in case it wasn't mentioned elsewhere, N-Y opened up preorders for Doras, the Vul Shark/Panther two pack, and Ryugen Yomotsuheguri last night for those interested.

I was all over the Sun Vulcan 2-pack until I saw N-Y's price for it. I really don't want to spend over 100 on them...especially when the other two packs were pretty reasonably priced before secondary mark-ups...

Yeah, that's downright ludicrous.

Two web exclusive figures at ~¥5,000 each. That's about average, really, in my experience.

Just paid off G-Stag/Reddle and Juspion AND pre-ordered Ryugen Yomi.

I just pre-ordered Yomi Ryugen. I'm not sure if I want to pre-order Doras or not. Maybe later, I don't think my bank account can afford any more pre-orders for web exclusives at the moment.

Also just preordered Yomi Ryugen. Just happened to notice it's 500 yen more than Duke was... Not sure if that's from the shipping or not (though I used EMS for both), but still something interesting I noticed.

I went to drop off my sister's new TV at her place and start constructing a bookshelf for her, come back home and learn a shitton of toku Figuarts get announced. Wee (well until June and the time to pay them off comes...then, ouch)!

Preordered Yumi Ryugen and Doras. Those two, plus the Ultra-Act two-pack & Master Gundam effect set, will make for a rather expensive month. Guess I should be glad these are coming the month before SDCC rather than the month of.

And i agree about Nippon lately it seems like a bit pricey for the exclusives!

Did anyone got a e-mail saying that Blue Beet has been shipped out yet from NY? They ship out my SHF Kinnikuman but not Blue Beet :(.

Patience, man, patience. They just sent out the Blue Beet preparation emails last night as you yourself noted.

I got mine earlier as just a prepping notice. Hopefully they'll be shipped out within the next week or so.

Having Bluefin releasing Blue Beet would have been nice but it looks like that they are done with releasing Toku web exclusives expect for Godzilla. Vul Shark & Vul Panther probably won't be release in the US despite them releasing Vul Eagle. I would pre-order Vul Shark & Vul Panther but my plate is pretty full at the moment with pre-orders. I need to save up for Otakon signs up in February and start saving up to pay off my April pre-orders.

Yes, because "Not being able to obtain the license" is exactly the same as "Not giving a shit."

You really need to stop seeing the inability for Bluefin to obtain the rights to port figures from certain shows over as them being a lazy, uncaring company. They're in no way the same thing. It's a very narrow-minded assumption.

I thought Saban owned the the rights to some of the metal heroes, KR, and sentai here in the states?

In the end it's their choice whether or not to let the license be used or not, same with Toei. So Bluefin can't really do much if they refuse.

To switch things up, decided "screw it" and pre-ordered the Sun Vulcan two-pack on N-Y. After the exchange rates, the price really isn't bad at all with shipping. Plus I have plenty of time to square some cash away since they aren't due out until the Summer.

As far I know, no one in the US owns the rights to Kamen Rider. Saban is not going to make a new one any time soon. Bandai America already said that no American adaption of Kamen Rider is in the making.

It's not like Bluefin wants to release them. I'm pretty sure Bluefin wants too but they said in the past that Bandai Japan Tamashi Nations is the one who makes the calls on what gets released over here or not. If Tamashi Nations in Japan feels like that there is no interest for Metal Heroes in America then why bother releasing them? At least with Kamen Rider, there's a lot of fan support for subbing it. So more people have discover Kamen Rider thanks to Dragon Knight, Youtube and other social media websites.

I'm sorry, but the attitude of Bluefin over the course of 2014 has given me no reason to believe anything they say anymore. For example, they could have told us right off the bat they weren't doing Gaim instead of saying something 2 weeks BEFORE they came out in Japan. The recent lack of answering questions on Facebook has been frustrating. It's like all they care about now is the money they make rather than customer service.

I was impressed with the customer service, the amount of communication, etc, they were giving to everyone throughout 2012 and 2013 and then in the first quarter of 2014 there just suddenly seemed to be this growing distance between Bluefin and the fanbase.

So Majhost is still down. Anyone know if it's ever going to get sorted out or are we stuck looking elsewhere?
