Hmm, while on the subject of re-using motifs here is a list of how many years it took from one show to another for reference. The most obvious ones at least.

Cars
Turboranger > 7 years > Carranger > 12 years > Go-onger

Ninjas
Kakuranger > 8 years > Hurricanger > 13 years > Ninninger

Dinosaurs
Zyuranger > 11 years > Abaranger > 10 years > Kyoryuger

Well, even just seeing the familiar and nostalgic suits might be enough for them.
A lot of people really enjoy Zyuranger basically because it's MMPR suits in classic action.

Well, it does show that they waited quite some time, at least.
I guess any series whose motif is anything but "Animal" has to wait some time, though :lol

I mean, Aoninger used magic, so maybe they won't touch it for a while.

Jokes aside, would it just be another Western style magic show, or more along the Onmyo Monk style of Eastern magic?

Sorry man, not your fault, we had a certain troll last year who wanted a Sun Vulcan-esque team back and was very honest with his reasoning: No women on the team.

Anyways, I would gladly see a smaller team if it means more screentime for each. And yes Matrix, I'm going to watch Gekiranger sooner than later, I promise.

No worries. I wonder how a three man team would function these days though. The last three man team was Go Busters and we *all* know what followed that season. As ranger teams keep getting bigger and bigger though, I can't help but be worried that 3 man core teams will start becoming an endangered species. Only time will tell I suppose.

I rather liked Go Busters, I found it had a more personal level than most and I think the small team number went towards that
Small team numbers = more personal stories and development I imagine
I suppose that it wouldn't be so attractive now because of toylines and sales
Go Busters had a small toy line and no real gimmick and I think (correct me if wrong) didn't do that well
Whereas Kyoryuger and Kyuranger have large teams and thus larger opportunities to profit
I'm not saying that's their primary focus
But personally I'd be all for a more smaller and more personally developed Sentai :)
I haven't seen Sun Vulcan yet, it's still on my list
