Hope Sun and Moon are good and exciting, not disappointing like X and Y.

Disappointing? X and Y were the first time I experienced the sensation known as fun in a Pokemon game for multiple years :lol

The only thing disappointing about XY was the difficulty. Those games were jokes compared to the last 5 Generations in difficulty.

Hopefully the EXP Share returns to how it was in Gen 2-5 if Sun and Moon are 7th Gen games.

We don't know that until gamefreak conform it. So everything else is just not believable to me at the moment.

The thing is overpowered in XY/ORAS. They never should've changed it as it makes the games incredibly too easy.

The EXP share was WAY too generous in XY...

That was really disappointing in XY. It meant you didn't have to have a smart team order or make risky switches for experience since everyone got a sizable chunk per battle anyway.

Another thing bad about XY were some of the Gym Leaders terrible teams.

Grant for example only having a Tyrunt and Amaura. Ramos was pretty terrible too aside from Gogoat.

Gym teams have always been rather garbage. Really, the champion only having 5 and the E4 having 4 Pokemon is what bothered me.

Compare Grant to the other 2nd Gym Leaders. Only Brawly and Roxie had a team as lackluster as his.

Misty had Starmie
Bugsy had Scyther
Gardenia had Roserade
Lenora had Watchog with a very deadly attack for that early in the game

Recent generations, yes. But I had Silver (Original), and some of the original Johto Gym Leaders, in particular Falkner, Whitney and Jasmine, were PURE HELL to beat.

Don't Electric,Fighting and Psychic types destroy their whole team?

You couldn't catch any electric types before battling Falkner in GSC. I don't know why you would use a Psychic type against any of them either.

And another thing that I regret was choosing Chikorita as my starter Pokémon.

Now every game I always choose the Water-Type Starters.

Doesn't Jasmine use Poison types?

Jasmine is Steel. Janine was the Poison Gym Leader in GSC in Kanto.

Well technically they did show quick things. Like the Pokemon center design and concept sketches as well as a design that could be a new mon.

Side note the gen 1 rereleases are compatible with bank my god! This means we can get a legit Charizard with seismic toss! My god!

Haha honestly the transfer from RBY to Bank I found more exciting. Has me interested in getting one of them now. Wonder how it'll work in natures and abilities though.

The curious thing about Sun & Moon that I don't think they mentioned was what platform it will be released on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it was explicitly said they'd be on 3DS.

No game footage though, that's what I meant. Concept art and design sketches are not game footage :p

And as far as the digital stuff goes I don’t care, don’t plan on buying a digital re-release of a game cartridge I already own. Nice that it’s compatible with the bank, but that does nothing or me either.

So all the hinting towards Z last year with all the Zygarde hype was trolling on Pokémon/Nintendo's part and they're skipping it altogether.

I am BEYOND PISSED right now. :mad:

Now 2 things need to happen in Sun/Moon to redeem that letdown:

1: Sun/Moon DAMN WELL BETTER be set in Kalos.

2: Zygarde's new forms DAMN WELL BETTER be in them!

A new Pokemon was teased as you could see them working on it. It was a bird Pokemon.

Also due to the transferring from gen 1 now being possible. Fissure No Guard Machamp is now legal once SM are released.
