But I must have it. |
You're sneaky, DrillBIT. But yeah, it can go here.
Ultra-Act x SH Figuarts Ultraman, based on the current alternate-reality manga. |

Kamen Rider Ultra! lol
yes that is beautiful |
I'm confused by Ultra Act x S.H Figuarts? Are the two lines fusing together or is it just for this one figure?

And I'm just confused by... what's the point of the crossover designation?? They were pretty much the same anyways I thought, with Ultras just being bigger.
|
I always dig the Iron Man look for that version of Ultraman. So day one buy for me.

Don't see what harm there could have been by using only the Ultra Act label even if he's smaller, but oh well. Doesn't ultimately matter. |

I went to NY to check in on my shipping on my SHF Blue Beet and now it's gone from my order history. I don't know what happen since it's gone? I have no way to sell if the item is being shipped today or not?! I will be very angry if NY tells me that I never bought the item when I have proof from my bank account that I paid for it.

I contact them and they send me a e-mail for my ticket. I hope they will respond back to me soon later today.

Is it just me, or does Baron Lemon Energy's lock seed like to fall out at the drop of the hat?
|
I've found the same thing Kiryu, it drives me nuts.
So, um, I've debated this a bit on twitter and have thought about it a lot in general and just can't come to a decision. I only have a few Showa Riders. Black, RX, Robo, Bio, Amazon, Shin, & ZO. I'm going to get the Shin versions of 1 & 2 soon, maybe even just go for them all.. So, my problem is, do I buy the other Showa Riders before they go OOP again, or wait and see if they are packed with their bikes? I mean, it seems like all of the reissues with the bikes are getting some sort of tweak. Amazon had a different colored effect part, Riderman has the yelling face, No.1 with his bike is a slight deco difference, etc. I feel like the Rider+bike sets will continue to come with small bonuses and then I'll be compelled to have them. LOL. Gosh, first world Toku problems I know. I mean, there is no guarantee everyone will get their bikes or get reissued, so there's that. Then again, Tamashii is doing well in that regard so far so I'm hopeful. Oh the headache.. I'm so OCD. |
The answer for me is simply buy the ones you like because you either liked the show, the character, or the suit. So simply hunt the one/s you feel the the need to absolutely have.
|
I must have them all, it's a problem, lol. (a problem I'm okay with). :)
That said, I can prioritize and I guess I will. Sometimes the answer is simple, and I have to hear it several times before I accept it... 1 & 2, Super-1, and X it is then. lol. |
I know it's tempting to get them all (Bandai is apparently Pokemon), but sometimes restraint is needed. I don't make it a rule that I have to have seen the show to own the toy, though I should in all honesty. As long as I like the suit and the character I'll probably get it.
I'm still behind on Showas. I still need to get all of the Black stuff and my 90s boys. After them, just Nigo, V3, X and Apollo Giest until J comes along. Maybe I'll get Amazon at some point. |
You are stronger willed than I, lol. Bandai is definitely Pokemon!
I'm behind on a lot of Kamen Rider. It's a pretty big uphill battle at this point. Dwindling stock makes me freak out, it can be a tough hobby at times. It's easy for me to get caught up in the web exclusives and forget that the standard stuff will become just as pricey once it goes OOP. Soo much to get, so little time.. at times. |

So true. I look at my monthly orders.. between Amiami, Amazon, and then web exclusives.. I'm like shoooooot. lol. Who has the money to play catch up? lol. I never should bought my first Tamashii figure, haha. ;)

I suddenly want Blade King Form figuarts damn it.
|
Between Shin Zangetsu, Baron Lemon Energy, and Jimba Lemon I think I'm throughly sick of the Sonic Arrows.
The Energy Riders sure are pretty though, especially Zangetsu |
None of the lock seeds on my energy riders have had any problems so far (though Duke's yet to arrive). Baron Lemon's popped out once a bit easily, but it doesn't have a current problem staying in the belt.

If you don't care about the bikes, or only like some, than pursue those individual Showa riders now. (I'm working under the assumption the bike/re-release rider two-packs or simultaneous releases will continue as well. That's how I'm getting V3 this month, and provided it happens with X that's how I'd prefer to get him too.) |

My wants so far are Black RX because Saban, and Biorider to complete that, ShadowMoon, and a few other Heisei Riders. Meteor/Storm, Den-O Sword, Nega Den-O, Double, Skull, OOOs/Tajadol, the rest of Blade's crew & some Gaim figures. But for now, I have my grails, Fourze & Nadeshiko! Quote:

I would have never started collecting showa riders if I hadn't read Kamen Rider Spirits, I've not seen the shows but I loved their depiction in that manga holy shit.
What's sad now though is that I only really buy the bikes (except with skyrider cus I need to replace his broken ass self) because I bought all the figures prior so I miss out on all the cool bonuses like riderman's extra face or Aamzon's sick ass red slice. |

I was a completionist. I like owning everything if I am going to own one thing. It is what got me into trouble years back and it has been getting me into trouble with Figuarts. However, I'm starting to lose this mentality.
First off, I wanted to own every ranger in existence in Figuarts form. Unfortunately, the way Bandai has been doing it has ruined that for me. In fact, I'm currently selling off my Boukengers, KyoryuRed, and RedBuster as I've decided I am only going to collect the ranger teams from the series I like most, which are all pretty much from the 90s. I will buy anything released for Jetman, Zyu (well, that is complete though, but some villains would be nice), Dai, Kaku, Car, Mega, Ginga, GoGoV, and Time. Other than that, I'm not sure. Hell, I might even get rid of all of my Gokaigers, Hurricangers, and Shinkengers and go after the BoA red rangers from those series I mentioned. I'm just not that big of a fan of the 2000s Sentai series as I am of the 90s. In fact, as much as I love Geki, I haven't watched it since it first aired. As much as I love Gokai and Aba, I would rather watch one of the series from the 90s over them for some reason. I have no idea why, but I've come to realize I shouldn't buy every ranger just because they have Sentai in their title. As for Kamen Rider, that is a little different. The nice thing about the Showa era is the riders really did not have multiple forms or anything, so all I need (and have) is one version of each character. For the more recent stuff, I will collect anything and everything from Blade as that is my favorite KR series. Everything else, I am going to stick with TV only characters (so no Femme or Ryuga for me) and only the main forms of the riders with their ultimate upgrade and maybe one other upgrade. I might even get rid of H/M and L/T for W and some of the states I have for Fourze. OOO, on the other hand, I really love his alternate forms, so I think I am going to keep those. As for Wizard, I'm just going to keep Wizard's Flame, Flame Dragon, and Infinity forms. In the case of Gaim, right now I only own Gaim, Baron, and Zangetsu, but I would like to buy Ryugen, Shotgun Shogun Gaim, and Fruits Basket Gaim and be done with it. I doubt I will bother with anything else from Gaim. Not because I don't love the show, but because everything else is going to be harder to acquire and will take up more room. Finally, what has been preorderable for Drive currently is all I plan to get with the exception to whatever Drive's final form ends up being. There are just way too many characters and forms at this point that I just can no longer justify owning everything, which is a shame too as I actually would love to get some of the additional Arms to Gaim. Oh, but I do want all of the bikes to main riders since it would be awesome to have them on display with their bikes. |
I collect the main riders (even Decade), the forms and secondary riders that I like. I love W, so I own all of W's main forms. I don't like Wizard enough to get all of his main forms, so I just bought Flame Style, Flame Dragon and Infinity. I love Gaim, so I will likely try to get all of Gaim's main forms. As for Drive, I think I will get Type Speed, Type Wild, his mid season upgrade and his final form.
|
I'm a completionist so I get any riders that I can. My limit is at movie-exclusive forms, movie Riders from Pre-Decade (exceptions are Den-O, Ryuki, Agito and Faiz and with Blade, only Glaive), and anything outside of Hibiki's main 3. Also not getting any alternate forms that aren't strictly upgrades. For Drive, I only want Drive Type Speed, Mach, Proto-Drive and Mashin Chaser, with Drive's final form and maybe Chaser's rider form.
Any Dark Riders and gun riders are fair game as well. And of course these always exceptions to the rule depending on how much I like the form. I'll also collect some metal heroes here and there depending on how much I like the design. There's very few cases where I'll buy more Sentai figuarts. Those cases are Psycho Rangers, Timeranger, Megaranger and Carranger and only if they actually finish those teams. I have Zyu already. Of course, this could change as I watch more Sentai. I'm also down for Gorenger. |
The only Rider stuff I want a complete collection of is Black/Black RX and Ryuki as far as a long line goes. I want full sets of other shows, but I'm happy just utilizing different toy lines to do so.
|
I don't collect the bikes due to space reasons and it's easier to buy the rider itself alone. I didn't want to get the Amazon reissue with the bike due to price reasons and money reasons. I was lucky enough to grab the original SHF Amazon on Ebay for a decent deal. I would only buy the Rider Bike two packs if I had no choice. If I never got SHF Shin Ichigo in 2012 then I would have bought the bike two pack with him.
