No Sun/Moon information this month, unfortunately. (Have to wait until next month) All that was said is that Magearna is confirmed to be Steel/Fairy Type (Which most of us guessed already)

I really kind of wish they made Magearna something out of left field, like Poison/Psychic or something, just to justify them not revealing her blatantly obvious typing from the get go.

Just got done playing some online matches in Pokken and i couldn't help but notice that i kept bumping into the same 5 or so people. One of them having the worst connection i have ever seen, the lag was unbearable! I know it wasn't my internet because the other matches were pretty fluid.


Must be a slow day on the servers.

If the reports are to be believed (one could argue against the lack of a source), it's literally The Pokemon Company doing it. Want a different outlet or something? The Almighty Nintendo not saying it doesn't mean anything.

Well, this will be a hilarious trainwreck.
I only care about how they design the Pokemon. The DeviantArt hyper realistic versions of the classic design, the cop out "Let's take a gecko, double it's size, add a flame effect, and call it Charmeleon" route, or actually try to make the Pokemon look like 3 dimensional versions of themselves.

Can't wait for all the explosions, the sexual tension between our leads, the linkin park soundtrack and no actually Pokemon for most of the film.

Nintendo can't do anything. They only release the games.

Also, this movie needs to be about the game story lines, not the anime ones...

The anime already gets movies ffs.

Nintendo isn't just Pokemon's distributor. It holds part of the copyright, too.

And would a movie based on the games' story really be that interesting? I think an original story would do them well (And wouldn't be as picked apart as a story based on the games :lol)

How would a live action Pokemon movie even work? There is too much to adapt from. If they stick with only the games, casual people will be confused on why there is no Ash. If they adapt from the anime only, fans of the games will hate it. If they do a original story similar to Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, fans will hate it. Not to mention the budget for a Pokemon live action film would cost millions to do it right.

If everyone already hates Ash, why would everyone suddenly be angry that there's no Ash? :lol

We wouldn't be angry, but the kids who actually watch it might be.

Kids and casual people that grew up with the show like Ash. I can imagine them going "Where is Ash?!" if they make Red into the lead role for a Pokemon live action movie.

Obviously Solgaleo is a lion. Or lion-like. Lions are associated with the sun. Maybe y'all should look at animals associated with the moon for potential outcomes. Two jump right to the forefront of my mind, Rabbit and Deer.

Lunaala is most likely a winged creature. Ala is Wing in Spanish. People have been speculating it to be an Owl or a Bat.

I'm thinking rabbit with wings for ears, myself.

So, grains of salt & all but the same trademarks for Sun/Moon legends MAY have revealed the names of the Starter Pokemon for this new series:

*Mokurou ("Tree Owl")
*Nyabii ("Fire Cat")
*Ashimari ("Marine SeaLion")

I'm hoping the water one isn't a Sea Lion and it's just another mistake in translation like the "Ice Wolf" and "Digging Bee" were before XY's release.

We just had Oshawott in 5th Gen who's final evo is based on a Sea Lion.
