As for what you said Sano, about the chomping dinosaur heads, that's gives me an idea. But it's not coming through all the way yet.


Idea! Why not combine the essence card idea with the Go-Onger spirit thing and the Kyoryuger Zyudenchi? Basically a dinosaur essence cartridge that is inserted into the chomping mouth of a dinosaur head on the belt. Or bracelet, kind of like Drive.

Wait, if he dies anyway, what was the point of changing him from ONE of the pre-skeletal Extinct into a pre-human. I thought the reason you decided on that change was so that he could stay alive as a mentor? Also - as enemies - if the Shaman was able to cast a hibernation spell on them, why didn't he eliminate them then and there? Not to mention, where does the whole "extinction" aspect play into it all if surviving the meteor played no part in their timeline? Lastly, killing the shaman off so early also leaves no connection to the magic of the Extinct and the magic of the Driver if he has no part in it's creation. I'm completely open to alterations and big changes to the idea I proposed initially, but that just sounds less simple, makes less sense, and causes way too many plot holes.

Phew. Rant over. I just had to throw that out there. Again, I do think the backstory barely matters here and the design of our fan-created rider is the most important part. So continue with what you're doing now. I don't mean to backtrack things.

Why don't we just make the collectibles mini - dino heads which bite down / attach to the belt. And they activate finishers by opening the mouth with a button press and bite down on the belt.

Or the collectibles could just be magic dino teeth inserted to a DNA scanner-like belt

the driver isn't supposed to have magic.

Okay so why not have crystals similar to the ones used in gaoranger/wild force except instead of animal statues or whatever was inside those things they have dino dna in them.
