Halloween (1978)
I've seen this movie thousands of times. But never was the experience so grand than watching it tonight in a theater. Everything was so crisp and clear. I don't think I can ever watch my VHS of it again. A masterful movie watched in the perfect way. |

Ah, that makes sense. I can not believe people still own VHSes though and have never upgraded their movies at least to DVD. I thought you were just making a joke initially.
|
I can believe it if you're a horror buff. Its more than just quality when it comes to those, the whole VHS thing is a culture there.
|
Grand Budapest Hotel is awesome. Check it out if you can folks.
Still not convinced? It has Bill Murray(in a small role). *mic drop* |

V for Vendetta - It's that time of year again, but since I'll be seeing Spectre on Thursday night, I watched this tonight. One of the best comic book movies ever. The end. 9/10.
|
Spectre - Spectre starts off with a bang with one of the best Bond openings ever produced. The shots are just flat out gorgeous, the camera work is great, and the opening bit is quite intense. Thankfully, the movie continues its flow throughout the entire thing as it is a truly enjoyable Bond film. Sadly, it is far from perfect, but no where near to the degree the critics are saying, which is due to it not being better than Skyfall. The plot is predictable, the villains are cookie cutter, and Sam Smith should never have been allowed to sing the opening theme because he sucks ass. The visuals used in the theme really save this song from being the worst Bond theme song, but still, I have no idea what they were thinking when they picked him to be kicked in the balls before singing. Nevertheless, there are a ton of great homages to the movies and novels of old and the action scenes are well done. Lots of fantastic one liners and humor too. The Bond girls are a waste of time, but at least the main one is able to hold her own. Moneypenny is easily the best female character in the movie and Q steals every scene he is in with ease. M is well done and it is pretty awesome watching Voldemort take on Moriarty (some will get this reference). Christolph Walz's performance is bittersweet because he does his role with such finess, yet, he is pretty much just playing himself as that character. It works, but it may annoy some. Oh, and Bond does have his character shields on full here. Finally, everything released under Craig's name is connected very nicely and the ending does a good job of wrapping up Craig's Bond if this does indeed turn out to be his final performance. In the end, no, it is not better than Skyfall or Casino Royale, but it is still an outstanding Bond experience and way better than anything Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan ever put out. I give it a solid 8/10.

I'll leave it at, I mostly agree with Dr Kain, though your tone didn't leave me to expect you giving it an 8/10.
I thought it was a really solid movie, not as good as Skyfall, closer to as good as Casino Royale, though. Definitely a close third for Craig's movies, which I think have all been very good. I did find many things odd about it, though. Craig's Bond films have at times felt like they were trying to break the long established Bond formula, and I think that's a large part of what has helped them be far better than all the others, especially Skyfall, it really very little resembled a Bond film. The others to varying degrees were using and adapting bits of the Bond conventions, but they felt like they were trying to be their own thing. From the beginning Spectre feels like it's fallen back to the old conventions, for no good reason, other than this might be the last film for a while, so hey, why not bring back all the old tropes. It moves past them, and as a huge James Bond fan I really didn't mind any of it, but it felt somewhat out of place for a Daniel Craig Bond film, and I think the movie gets stronger a little ways in when they move away from following old patterns. I don't think I'm familiar with Waltz, I found him to be an interesting character and I liked the portrayal. However, because I am familiar with Sherlock, I kept expecting Moriarty's character to turn out to be the true mastermind behind everything, though it wouldn't have been nearly as believable in this film as it is in Sherlock. It reminds me of one of my Skyfall reactions: I'm only familiar with Finnes as a villain, so up until he gets shot, I expected him to be in league with Silva. One of the dangers of casting certain actors, I guess. Similar thing happened in Red 2, as soon as Anthony Hopkin's character was introduced, my cousin knew he was the villain (and why later I expected him to be a villain in Thor, instead of just a giant dick). Speaking of Finnes, all the stuff with M was great, I really like him as M, and I hope that in future Bond films, Daniel Craig or not, he continues as M (all of the other actors playing M have done so for more than one Bond, haven't they?). Anyway, I could go on and on, but I won't. I'd give Casino Royal a 9.5, Quantum of Solace 7.5-8, Spectre a 9, and Skyfall and 11. Take that how you will. |
I watched Breakin' again to see a familiar face

Steve Jobs
I was really looking forward to this film and I wasnt dissappointed. This is by far one of the best movies I have seen this year and there have been a lot of great ones. Its just the right kind of biopic that I enjoy. Its a very human story about Steve Jobs coming to terms with his inner demons and how his deranged relationship to his daughter. Aaron Sorkins script completely blew me away with a lot of fantastic lines that have you on the edge of your seat every time. Especially since all of the actors do a magnificient job. Michael Fassbander absolutely knocked it out of the park as Steve Jobs. Between this and Macbeth he has to at least get a nomination for the Oscars this year. That guy deserves it. Biggest surprise for me was Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak. That guy is a surprisingly good dramatic actor. I would really like to see him do more drama in the future. Danny Boyles directing is also top notch. Its very bare bones and doesnt go over the top like it tends to be in his movies. He just sets the stage for this remarkable cast to act out a glorious script. |
Spectre. Was it good? Yeah.
Maybe not a 10/10 but still good enough to watch it in theaters. Myself I liked it because it was a different beast compared to the other spy action films(Kingsman and Mission Impossible in particular) out this year so it was nice to see this film. I would like to recommend watching the previous three Daniel Craig Bond films and if you still have time watch some of the oldies(primarily Sean Connery's films) prior to watching this since it will help you appreciate some of the easter eggs and trivia. |
Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
One week to go until I'm seeing The Force Awakens so its time to sit down and rewatch the other films. Episode I still sucks major ass. The Film has so many problems its not even fun to watch it as a bad movie. The A-Plot is extremely boring and pushed into the background without it even having the chance to become interesting, the B-Plot is extremely boring and pushed way too much into the forefront. Anakin is not relevant to anything in this film so having to spend so much time with him on Tatooine is a gigantic waste of everyones time. It isnt helped by the fact that pretty much none of the actors in this film do a very good job at acting. Which is funny since most of them are great actors. But having a shitty script and a shitty director hurts even the most talented actor. Another giant problem I have with this film is that the majority of the action scenes are absolutely pointless filler. Except for the end none of them move the plot forward in any way or develop any of the main characters. The Pod Race could have been cut from the film entirely, since Anakin being freed could have been done much more quickly and without having to sit through a boring race, featuring a bunch of no name characters that just exist to sell more toys. So yeah. The Phantom Menace was shit back then and it is shit now. And fuck Jar Jar. |

Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Everytime I talk with people about the prequel trilogy I hear from them "Yeah the first one sucks but the second one is much better." And they are right, Episode II is better... it still sucks though. It improves on a lot of shortcomings Episode I had. The action scenes are a lot more important for progressing the characters and the narrative. The Story is also more coherent and doesnt have the same messed up priotrities Episode I has. Ewan McGregors acting has improved greatly over the first film and Ian McDiarmid is still the best thing ever. And thats pretty much all the good things I have to say about the film. It has some interesting ideas but doesnt really get them across in a pleasing way. Anakin for example is meant to be the big cocky Jedi who thinks he can do everything and is shattered by what happens to his mother. Problem is that Hayden Christensen has absolutely now emotions whatsoever. He is kinda alright when he is sad but everything else completely falls flat. He always sounds like he is tired when instead he should be a lot more energetic. Thanks to that most of his scenes, especially the ones with Obi-Wan dont work. His love story with Padme is boring as hell too. But thats mostly because Padme is a really bland and boring character. The overall plot is decent but doesnt manage to excite me at any point. Its a very thin story that is way too long. I honestly think this movie would have worked better if it was under two hours long. Especially the ending goes on forever. So yeah. Definitely an improvement over the first film but still not good. |
Hardcore Henry - I saw the movie last night and it was better than I thought. The movie was over the top and cheesy fun from start to finish. Sharlto Copley in the movie was awesome because he was really great and funny in the movie. The whole movie is set in a first person view which makes the movie so much fun. This movie did something pretty original that a studio that has not done in a while.
This is not a movie where you can expect life philosophies. It instead offers action for the sake of action. If you love over the top cheesy movies like the Crank movies, Machete and Drive Angry then you will love this movie. If not then steer clear from this title. I wish the movie could have a better story, but I still enjoy it. Overall I love this movie and I can't wait to own it on blu-ray. Grade: B |
Ant Man - 8/10
Hardcore Henry - AKA First Person Shooter The Movie and boy does it live up to its nickname. It was like the studio took the cutscenes from a 4 hour FPS and strung them together into an incomprehensible mess where the novelty wears off 10 minutes into it. If you are looking for a movie with even a tiny bit of plot or character development, look else where because you will find nothing but boredom here. The action is bland and the only saving grace for the main stuntmen is that they do not have to admit to doing this farce due to the lack of ever actually seeing their face on camera. If you love playing a pointless generic video game like the FPS genre tends to be, this is for you. Everyone else, don't even waste your time. In the end, while it will not end up being the worst movie of 2016, it is definitely a contender for it. I give Hardcore Henry a 5/10 and those five stars are for its music and the character of Jimmy, who is this movie's only highlight. |
I saw Finding Nemo in theaters back in 2003. I was 5.
Over the weekend, I saw Finding Dory. Now, I've been a high-school graduate for a little less than two weeks and regularly attend a summer class at a 4-year university. Yeah. |
Men In Black - 9/10
This movie is much better than I remembered and features great performances by Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. |
Shin Gojira! Better than I expected. I'm really glad they were able to get this stateside, even in limited release.
|
Ghostbusters 2016-
Honestly, this turned out better than it had ANY right to be. Cast is very good & story moves at a decent pace. Script could've used some tightening; there's a few spots that go on too long and a couple more that really needed additional development. Some of the effects weren't too great either. CGI overload towards the end. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10 at least... |

As for myself saw Five Venoms again. Yes this is the kung fu film that inspired the godokuken rinjyuken monsters in Gekiranger. Worth a watch if you have not. Also watched Coming to America and it was fun. Surprised at how many roles Eddie and Arsenio play. |
So I finally got around to seeing Shin Godzilla. My general opinion of it is that it is okay. It's not fantastic, but it isn't bad, just okay.
I am going to get into spoilers so keep that in mind. Going into this movie I was prepared for a film mostly about human drama, criticism of a tangled system that is the Japanese Government, and Godzilla being used as an analogy or what have you in a few scenes. Godzilla despite being in the title is rarely the main focus, so I don't have any problem with that. That said, you need to deliver on the humans, especially if Goji isn't gonna fight some other monster, and sadly I think that's what Shin Godzilla fails most at. 70-80% of the movie is people in board rooms talking. Now to be fair it does do a good job portraying the bureaucratic nightmare of red tape and indecisive leaders, while also providing a good mixture of well to do people within those establishments that are doing their best to help people and stop Godzilla. And some of those boardroom scenes are pretty fun in way. Our main protagonist, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Rando Yaguchi, assembles a ragtag team of people to figure out how Godzilla functions and how to stop him. Those parts are often times quite good and shows how committed everyone is. It can be quite exciting when someone figures something out and puts fourth ideas and stuff starts coming together. I think this is the strongest element of the film, and eventually it does lead to them coming up with a plan to stop Godzilla and I think it's pretty clever. It great seeing people come together and work to stop a threat with some out of the box thinking and resourcefulness. Seriously, the way they take Godzilla down is pretty great, even if I can't remember any of them because the cast is so freaking huge and names are rarely said. But as I stated earlier, human drama needs to play a role. And we don't really get that. We get scenes of destruction, sure, we have plenty of talking about how horrific it all is, and we do get quick scenes of people in terror or refugees displaced from their homes, or the aftermath of Godzilla's rampage. But they're just acknowledgements rather than focus. I hate to compare it to the original and I know that's not fair in the slightest, but something like the prayer scene is something Shin Godzilla desperately needed. Something more than POV shots that- while fantastic looking and great for conveying size and perspective, doesn't convey the emotion of being in a disaster. I believe the film is really banking on people's memories of Fukushima and the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami as a means to invoke a emotional response, rather than go through the trouble of setting up a character caught in the middle of it or simply showing us personal loss and horror with a scene of a girl losing her mother, or the sound of a baby crying among the displaced people. Hell I don't even think we get a scene of someone calling their family to make sure they're safe, and we certainly don't have an emotional attachment to Yaguchi or his team beyond wanting to see them succeed. Perhaps that was intentional, to show a rift between government workers and every day citizens. But That's not very compelling and it actually would have elevated Yaguchi and his team by showing exactly who they're trying to help and prevent from happening to others. 20 minutes of the film could have easily been repurposed for that very thing, and it should've been. Also everyone in this film has like a dozen contacts they can call to get shit done without going through a ton of people. It's just a odd thing I noticed. Visuals. They're (surprise) okay. Some of the CG helicopters and tanks look fine, the buildings look great. The trains looks really bad, they look like something out of train simulator 2017. There's a part where a bunch crash into Godzilla and it looks hokey as shit, especially the physics of the trains. I really wish they used models and not CGI on that part. It really makes me sad that they didn't. Goji's first two forms look hilarious, and I get what they're going for, it's like how a tadpole, baby bird, or cat looks before it grows, so I won't hold it against the movie. But the googly eyes are funny as hell. I still have mixed feelings about the final look, it feels like it's trying too hard to be scary with the mouth. Speaking of the mouth, Godzilla's is weird. Obviously it stretches wide like the alien in the AVGN movie, but it also splits at the bottom. So Shin Godzilla looks like Kamen Rider Shin. Yeah I'm not crazy over how that looks, it's just weird. His atomic breath is vastly different here, starting off as fire before becoming a purple laser beam. I'm fine with it, but I do have to point out it's basically the exact same thing as in 'Giant god warrior appears in tokyo.' Godzilla also shoots lasers out of his back which is really awesome looking the first time. I really appreciate toying around with giving Goji new abilities. That said, the second time he does it is a little silly looking due to framing, kinda looks like Tokyo is having the greatest laser light show. He also fires beams out of his tail and...it's okay I guess. The scenes of destruction are really great visually, there's also a ton of low angle shots that I LOVE. Few POV shots which look pretty good and sorta wish there was more of just because if give you a more personal look, and this is coming from someone the usually hates shaky POV, but it works in bursts. There is a weird one where it's from the inside view of a laptop and all the characters are looking at the screen- not that great. Audio. Explosions are nice and crisp, things falling and crumbling all sounds nice and crunchy. Godzilla sounds like '54 Goji, so that's all good. His atomic laser sounds deliciously retro, like it was taken out of a 60's Sci-Fi movie, I love it. The music is really great, I love the soundtrack. There are one or two scenes where I feel the music doesn't fit well with the visuals, but for the most part it's sport on. I do wish 'Persecution of the masses' and 'Who will know Tragedy' were used a bit more. They're both really haunting tracks that instill a feeling of dread when you see low angle shots of Godzilla. Also I might as well mention it here, there is English in the movie. It's weird. One of the characters, Kayoko Ann Patterson, speaks English a lot. And I don't know why other than that they're trying really hard to sell that she's totally not from Japan, and to their credit, Satomi Ishihara speaks it very well. I understood her perfectly and it's probably the best I've heard in a Japanese production. But it sounds unnatural, and I don't just mean in a "she's clearly not living in America" way, I mean they have her speak English for seemingly no reason to Japanese people. Also when she converses with English speakers, it isn't incomprehensible word usage, but it's not how someone bilingual would actually talk. But it is a commendable effort and to have such clarity is really great. The non Japanese cast does well too, it's not nearly as awkward sounding like in Godzilla '84. So good job on that. But all in all I found Shin Godzilla to be a very mixed bad. It's not bad, but it's not great. In all honesty it's probably no better or worse than '14 and yeah I'm actually saying that. Neither really has any interesting characters throughout the film. '14 has the problem of constantly teasing and cutting away far too often to uninteresting humans. Shin has the problem of Goji getting in a few great action scenes before falling asleep through most of the movie in favor of uninteresting humans in boardrooms, only to wake up at the end and be frozen. Shin Godzilla's run has been extended, though I don't think you should feel like you're missing out if you don't see it. The film has done really well and chances are whatever sequel Toho puts out will likely get this sort of release too, which will hopefully be more interesting and engaging film. |

Since this thread has not been used in a while. The last few movies I watched where:
Arrival (2016) - I finally got the chance to see this movie and it was amazing. I did not expect this movie to be this good. This movie really had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I love the story, emotion and the direction the story takes in this movie. I can't recommended this movie a enough. Something fresh and more realistic than doing another War of the Worlds and Independence Day type of movie. Grade: 4.5/5 Evilspeaks (1981) - I never had the chance seeing this movie growing up. I felt like this movie was fun, but could have been way better. The unlikable characters and the bad pacing really ruined the movie for me. It takes long for the horror stuff to happen. Not to mention the acting in this movie kinda sucks at time. I do think the best thing about this movie is the awesome death scenes. Sadly it takes too long for them to happen. The climax is great and is totally worth it with the over the top gore. Overall this movie is a mixed bag. It is worth renting or watching for free on Amazon Prime (Like I did), but I would not buy it unless it's under $10. Grade: 3/5 Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998): This movie is still amazing after 20 years later. The surreal visuals, the dark comedy, the memorable characters and the horrifying satire of the American dream makes this movie a near perfect film in my opinion. Hunter S. Thompson's message is still intact and strong as ever. I still think critics didn't understand the movie when it came out which is why the movie has a bad rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Meta Critic. Grade: 5/5 Other movies that I watched this year so far. In theaters: Mazinger Z: Infinity - 4/5 Annihilation - 4.5/5 Game Night - 4/5 Pacific Rim 2: Uprising - 3/5 Rampage - 3.5/5 Deadpool 2 - 4.5/5 Other movies that I watched at home, friends houses, etc from January - now: Black Water (first viewing) - 3.5/5 Blood Beat (re-watch) - 2/5 Body Melt (first viewing) - 3.5/5 Bonnie and Clyde (re-watch) - 4/5 City of the Living Dead (re-watch) - 4/5 Cloverfield Paradox (first viewing) - 3/5 Dark Web (first viewing) - 1/5 Death Spa (first viewing) - 4/5 Demons (re-watch) - 4/5 Demon Wind (first viewing) - 3/5 The Deadly Duo (re-watch) - 3.5/5 Do The Right Thing (re-watch) - 4.5/5 Double Indemnity (first viewing) - 4/5 Election (Re-Watch) - 4/5 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Re-watch) - 4/5 Evil Ed (re-watch) - 3.5/5 Existenz (first viewing) - 4.5/5 The Exterminator (re-watch) - 4/5 Fargo (re-watch) - 4/5 Full Metal Jacket (re-watch) - 5/5 Good Time (first viewing) - 4/5 Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters (first viewing) - 3/5 Green Room (first viewing) - 4/5 Irréversible (re-watch) - 4/5 Invincible Shaolin (re-watch) - 4/5 L.A. Confidential (re-watch) - 4/5 The Matrix (re-watch) - 4/5 Psychomania (first viewing) - 3.5/5 Scanners (re-watch) - 4.5/5 Society (re-watch) - 4/5 Taxi Driver (re-watch) - 5/5 Terrorvision (re-watch) - 3.5/5 Violent Shit: The Movie (first viewing) - 3/5 (Enjoyable for being so trashy) |
Just watched a Korean horror movie called Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. This is the second Korean movie I've seen, the first one was a zombie movie called Train To Busan. Now, horror movies don't effect me much anymore. But these Korean movies are actually making me a bit antsy. They're acting is very good and the suspense is thick at times. On the whole, I give it a 8/10.

Movies that I have watched recently in the last few weeks. I will try to make it as short as possible.
The Beyond (1981) - One of my favorite horror movies and one of my favorite movies in general. Lucio Fulci did a fantastic job with mixing atmosphere and splatter. The movie is dark, atmospheric, unsettling and terrifying. The music, writing and characters are just fantastic. I highly recommended this movie. Rating: 4.5/5 Boy’s Don’t Cry (1999) - I remember seeing this movie on VHS back in 2001 and I haven't seen it since then. I decided to watch it for Pride Month and this movie holds up very well. This movie has a great cast of characters and wonderful acting. The movie's themes about the search for identity and courage really hold up. This movie will make you sad and angry in a good way because you feel very attach to everyone in this movie. Not to mention this movie takes place in 1993 and shows people who hate gays & trans in a very dark and brutal way. It shows that not much has changed in the last 25 years. Rating: 4.5/5 Cop (1988) - I saw this movie on VHS as a kid, but I never finish watching it. This is a pretty solid and underrated movie in my opinion. James Woods was great in this movie and everyone else did a really good job in the movie. I love the gritty tone that this movie had and how it capture the tone of the story. I recommended to give this movie a watch. Rating: 4/5 The Elephant Man (1980) - It's been forever since I seen this movie and I think it holds up very well. The acting and writing in this movie is fantastic because you really feel for the characters in this movie. Probably David Lynch's third best movie next to Lost Highway and Eraserhead in my opinion. Rating: 4.5/5 Drive-In Massacre (1976) - I saw this movie ages ago on late night TV when I was a little kid. It was nice to see a good transfer for this movie for once since I remember it not being release outside of VHS. This movie is a fun little cheesy movie and nothing too special. You get some good gore moments, but that's about it. The movie does have interesting characters to keep the story interesting. Overall, it's a fun movie if you want to watching short (It's only an hour and ten minutes). Rating: 3/5 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) - I didn't have much hope for this movie being any good, but it end up being worse than I thought. This movie is so stupid that it made me want to rip out my hair out of my head. This movie just rehashes stuff from the other movies from Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3 and the last Jurassic World movie. Nothing about this movie is anything new and special. This movie at times felt like a big budget Syfy channel original movie like Raptor Island. This movie is the worse one in the series next to JP3 in my opinion. Rating: 2/5 Motel Hell (1980) - I saw this movie as a kid on TNT back in the day in the 90's and it was free to watch on Amazon Prime. It's a fun movie to watch, but I do feel like it's a bit long though. Sometimes the movie feels like filler, but you do get some really fun over the top moments. Not to mention the last act of the movie is totally worth it. Fun movie, but it could have been better. Rating: 3.5/5 Terror Firmer (1999) - I remember seeing this movie back in the early 2000's and laughing how over the top this movie was. I only seen the 98 minutes cut of the movie and not the director's cut. This movie is so insane that you have to see it to believe. This movie is one big love letter to Troma Entertainment and I do recommended to Troma's older movies to fully enjoy this movie. Rating: 4/5 Under the Skin (2014) - I never got the chance to see this movie before and I bought it for $5 at Best Buy. I was amazed on how good this movie was. I love the art direction, the creepy music and the story. This is the best movie that Scarlett Johansson has been in since Lost in Translation in my opinion. Rating: 4/5 |
I just finished re-watching Tropic Thunder which I haven't seen since I first bought the film on DVD. Hard to believe this movie is now a decade old. Nevertheless, it still holds up very well complete with a great story and a great cast. The fake trailers that take place before the start of the film are a real hoot.
|
A Quiet Place was pretty good and I like it. I thought it very creepy and suspenseful at times. The movie remind me of Signs, but it was much better. I did really like how they didn't use too many jumpscares and it had a good cast of characters. I also thought the aliens in this movie looked really cool too.
Overall, I like it but the movie had some stuff that annoyed me (I won't spoiled them). I give it a 7.5/10. |

I watched Mission Impossible Fallout last week (twice!).
I think Rogue Nation and Fallout might be my new favorite pair of action films. |
I just finish watching My Friend Dahmer. Amazing movie and I will be seeing Ant-Man 2 soon this weekend.
|
I watched Upgrade and I really like it. A very solid dark sci-fi action movie with great special effects and a message on losing your humanity with machines controlling over you and taking actions in your hands outside the law. Probably one of my favorite movies of 2018.

I saw The Predator today and I enjoy it. I give this movie a 7/10. Spoilers will be posted.
I like the characters in this movie more than I thought I would. I really like the main character and the Loonies. I like the personalities that they had and I was surprised that most of them got killed off. I also did enjoy the humor even though some of it did overstay its welcome. A lot of great action and gore scenes too. You get some awesome kill scenes from the Predators in this movie. I did have some issues with this movie like the Predator Dog, who felt really pointless other than saving Casey's life later on in the film. You also have the kid in the movie, who has a form of autism and the movie treats him as a special one that is very different from everyone. In the movie, they made him somehow able to learn how to use Predator technology when everyone else didn't know how to use it. I wasn't the biggest fan of Olivia Munn's character and I wish they didn't use CG for some of the kills. Overall, I like The Predator a lot and I do plan on seeing it again soon. It's got a bunch of flaws, but it is so much fun to watch. If you are a fan of the series, I say give it a watch. Ignore the bad reviews and see the movie for yourself. Just don't expect the movie to be as good as the first Predator movie. |
I saw The Predator as well and I like it as well. The whole theater had a blast watching it.
|
I did saw Kubo and the Two Strings recently and I like it a lot. Here are my favorite animated movies of the 2010s so far.
